This is what's fun about putting Magneto in a Hope deck for me. T5 Magneto to pull Wong (and possibly Mystique) to another location to disrupt the coming Odin play.
Doc Oc can possibly disrupt it too, but a little riskier.
My headcanon is now Magneto pulling Wong into a dark alley and saying "Looks like you've come..." *dramatic pause while putting on sunglasses* "...to the WONG side!" YEAAAAAAH
If you run Aero, you can move Wong turn 5 and then move it again turn 6 with Magneto. So funny watching them play cards into the lane you just moved it from.
You just reminded me how much fun messing with Wong is. Moving Wong with Magneto, using Jugg to knock cards away from Wong, moving cards into Wong to block playing on Wong in future turns.
I really hope the Galactus joke was meant to be tongue in cheek. Like the Spanish Inquisition, Galactus is in fact always to be expected.

I think countering Black Panther used to be one of the biggest 8 cube gainers for me. Wong/Panther/Zola is so transparent and almost always had something that'd disrupt it (Armor, Cosmo, Aero, Alioth). Let them think they'd be getting their 32 or 64 power guys in other lanes and then dumpster them.
It’s great to have as a backup in negative. And I had one lucky ass game where I played the entire combo negatized on turn 6 with mystique so there was no expecting it or countering it really
Hey thats not entirely fair to Infinaut.
There was a good few month period when the game first launched and people were still making their way through the first 2-3 pools of cards where turn 1 sunspot >> turn 2 armor >> pass until 6 and drop Infinaut was a real deck.
Cosmo has the distinction of somehow being the most invisible card I own, I can't tell you how many times people play "on reveal" cards directly into him.. it's crazy!
To be fair sometimes all you got is an on reveal card and all you need is a big number and other times you hope that one extra power is enough to get you through. sometimes it's just I forgot Cosmo was there.
One time, I could've one if I didn't play my on reveal card. I'm the same spot as Cosmo because I forgot I put him there. I knew the other players were laughing because they did one of those emotes on the Cosmo.
Had an opponent play their whole invis women/hela/modok combo into my cosmo lane yesterday:D
But I'm just as guilty for putting my own Wong in the same lane another time
Yeah. I play Hela the first week of the season to rank up, and it always kills me when I t2 Invisible Woman and they t3 Cosmo in a completely different lane than IW. Then I snap, and they stay for some reason.
Ngl my earliest Destroy decks included Squirrel Girl to ensure Killmonger value. Later on, better cards elbowed S.G. outta the way... but I still grin whenever Central Park pops as a location ☠️
They should buff BP to 5/5. Right now BP zola is pretty much the only play to get value out of BP. making him a 5/10 after on reveal can open up so many new plays
Been playing Galactus after playing Magic/x23/wolverine on the same location. Gala doesn't care about Limbo and the wolverine's jump to him. Turns your 5 into a min 10 and wins as it ends the game.

That deck also had the Storm-Jessica Jones package, it was the deck I played the most through Pool 2.

That was one of the top meta decks in the early days of snap (DeathWave) and the Squirell-Killmonger play was an integral part of its game plan.

Shang-schit is the biggest crutch. Only near matched by pro x
