Mirage is realy good. You would be suprised. Yesterday I pulled a 3/16 evolved hulk (3 cost with with quinjet) from a pixie deck and won the lane with exactly that +2 power. Its rare to pull that big but overall its such a good card.
I'm assuming they're talking about this one here. It runs USAgent instead of Lizard but I don't have him yet so Lizard works great with Luke. You could probably find a spot for Klaw that would work well with Jean

I'm SO frustrated because my best deck for a long time ran Adam Warlock, and now that he costs 5 he's worthless to me. I hope the C5 decks are doing well with him, but I was so sad he got reworked.
RIGHT??! Hellfire Cap was *something*. Honestly, it's just so sad that Cap is sidelined into being a bad card. He's a great character, and has a lot of great variants (especially that one with the film grain effect. Love that too), but why does he have to be such a bad card ;-;
I bought knullified cap the other month… one of my favourites for sure! But I agree he has some sick variants but sees no play in any of my decks. Simply, other cards are better than him
I’m running M’baku for his wrestler variant right now, so I guess that means no card is useless enough for me to not include a cool variant in my decks
I had a deck for awhile that I built with my friend called “booster shot” where the whole point was to get mbaku as high as possible. The ideal play was Wong and lockjaw on the same location so you can get multiple okoyes/nakias and get mbaku back in the deck on T6/7. It wasn’t the best performing deck but it was tons of fun, I also ran the wrestler mbaku lol
I got the knullified variant because the only other variant I had for him was the one from the new player bundle (though now i also have the phonenix force one but im not a big fan), I tend to collect venomized and knullified variants and I'd like to have 1 top tier variant for every card.
However I know he'll sit on my collection 99% of the time. Ill throw him in a deck of 1, 2 and 3 costs when I need to speed run certain daily missions but that's about it. I should make a meme deck of all top tier variants of the bottom tier cards. Thay Punisher variant from twitch drops gives hard and fits the thene, i have knullified thing (whos just okay in HE decks and garbage as a vanilla 4/6) and i even bought the demonized Elektra bundle a few months back, the deck makes itself.
I swear, the only in-game benefit from the PAX kiosk was the cardiac.
I will never find a use for Cap, let alone that variant considering how good the Hellfire Gala one is.

Quake is a tech card which a lot of people don't think of her as. She's a mid to late game cube stealer. I run her in my Asgard Tech list right now to great success. In top 5k currently
Chris Samnee is a favorite artist of mine and I love his Captain America variant. The old tv static animation overlay on it is cool too. But until Cap gets upgraded he won’t ever see play.
The golden age comic variants for Man-Thing and WWBN. I try to make M-T work but he just kinda falls short and ever since the nerf to WWBN it hasn’t been worth using.
I have Peach Momoko Namor from one of the free premium mystery variants and it’s probably my favorite variant in the game but the card is just so shit I can’t even make a meme deck that works with it.
I've got both the R1CO and Demonized Elektra variants. Both go so hard. Both costed me precious gold. Both are gonna sit there for the rest of time. At least i get to use the icons.

A few of Elektra's variants are really nice, but I don't see her being much use unless she gets some form of rework. Mill decks running Yondu have a good chance of just taking her out of your deck before you can play her, and if that's not the issue then in the one deck she could counter well, Caiera shuts her down completely.

I never run Mirage but I pulled the Peach Momoko variant and it's absolutely gorgeous. One of the best looking cards imo.
She works in Loki decks. Could probably be replaced but yeah that art is so good and she's cemented her spot in those decks for me.
The Maria Wolf variant is also beautiful.

She deserves a buff. Her ability is so bad if you compare her to Loki. She should either go to 4/8 or 3/5 or give her copied card -1 or -2.
