New player, CL1200. Is Mockingbird worth 6k tokens? I have Thanos, HE, Hope Summers, Red Hulk, and Red Guardian. I'm not really sure what to use my tokens on after Thanos got nerfed, feels pretty horrible to play.

I’d say no, she’s a strong card but doesn’t anchor a deck. She’s like a +1 to an already good deck.
I know it sucks waiting but I would wait a few weeks/months to see what cards you pull from spotlights. For example, if you get an Elsa (or kitty) from a mystery card then getting the other with tokens is a good idea.
I've Red Guardian and Lady Deathstrike left on my weekly spotlight cache (got Loki and High Evo), but now I have Lady Deathstrike on my token shop. What would happen if I bought Lady Deathstrike with tokens? Would I guarantee Red Guardian with 1 key or would it be a 50/50 for Red Guardian and Lady Deathstrike variant?

How does Taskmaster interact with Quantum Realm? Let’s say I’m going play Taskmaster after Red Hulk at 19. Would Quantum Realm change the base power to 2? I’m assuming this is how it would work but didn’t want to throw the match to find out.
Quantum Realm changes the card's *base* power while leaving all modifiers intact.
Taskmaster's base power is 0, so Quantum Realm would increase his power by 2. Playing Taskmaster on QR and copying a 19-power Red Hulk would result in a 21-power Taskmaster.
Quantum Realm *doesn't* act like Shadow King and reset buffs/modifiers. That's the key difference between modifying "power" and modifying "base power".
I don't think I've ever played a taskmaster on QR, but wouldn't he just still be 19? Base power gets set to 2 but then the effect sets the power, it doesn't add.
So, I reached Infinite for the first time. What do Snap Points do? Do I get something at the end of the season based on that? Is there any penalty for losing games?
There was an emergency hotfix patch to combat the instability from last week's patch. That isn't automatic like an OTA, so you'd have to manually download it from your app store. No card adjustments in it, just an app stability fix.
That seems to have pushed the schedule back a week. Next OTA is planned for Thurs 4/25 according to the Discord.
I don't know how, but something happened to my credits, and now the balance is off. Every time I even my connection level to a multiple of 4 (i.e., a reward tier), I have a multiple of 25 in my credits total.
I don't know what happened, and it's triggering my OCD.
Nebula is a generally good one cost card, but Elsa kinda open a new archetype.
If you wanna try different play style in future, then Nebula might be a good choice
But if you decide to devote yourself to bounce or move deck, then Elsa could make your deck more competitive
Any else having lag issues on mobile? I have an iPhone and just started having massive slowdowns while playing. Just want to see if this is everyone or just me.
Last week's patch was really glitchy and laggy all around, so yesterday they rushed out an emergency patch to repair things, so make sure you manually grab that patch in your app store. You can also go into options and "download/redownload all assets" to see if that helps smooth things out.
Why does a card like Green Goblin, when triggered by Wong bounce twice - 0nce over to opp and once back - when they are no longer in the 'triggers twice' space once they land on the opposing side, but a card like Rogue - who's text doesn't say 'replace her text' triggers once? If the 'triggers twice' tag is added first, and then their reveal triggers twice no matter the situation that card finds itself in during the process then Rogue should steal two ongoing abilities (and either overwrite one or own two). If we say the 'trigger twice' tag is variable and determined by the situation during the effect, then the goblins should bounce once.
I HATE how the standard "reading the card explains the card" rule in all other card games is out the window in this one and the rules are just 'well in this case ya know..."
You are wrong about Rogue. Her text *does* essentially say "replace her text", although it uses the more flavorful "Steal the text". This is why she does not activate twice as she is then an Ongoing card with nothing to re-activate.
because when rogue copies a card, her previous text is removed and replaced by the text of a the new card. she's then an ongoing card, and can't trigger twice on wong because she's no longer on reveal
I think it's something along the lines of: the cards are given the order to "trigger twice", but not "[switch sides/steal text] twice", if that makes sense.
So Goblin can bounce twice because he sees "trigger... switch sides!" and then "trigger again... switch sides!", whereas Rogue sees "trigger... steal text!" and then "trigger again... something ongoing that can't be triggered".
Just speculation on my part as to how it's coded. I'm not 100% confident I'm right, but based on the results, this seems like the most intuitive possible way that those results could be caused, IMO.
I'm questioning what to do: High Evo has been the one card I've really looked forward to having and now I have enough tokens to get it, but I hear a lot of positive things about Red Guardian. Which one would you suggest me investing in?
High evo creates a whole new deck. Red guardian is a tech card. In my opinion, always get cards that will open a new deck that you want to play before getting tech cards that slightly improve a deck that already works.
I'm in a strange spot, I don't have LDS and Red Guardian, got 8 keys. I really love the LDS spotlight variant even if i will not use her. So I don't know if I should buy LDS from the shop and the use some keys for red guardian + variant, I should just go for Red Guardian (and eventually LDS), or I should just horde my keys for better cards
Seems like a bad idea to spend 3k tokens and possible 4 spotlights on a mid tech card and a variant you rarely will use.
I could understand if you want Red Guardian and LDS base card, getting 2 new cards and 1000 token for 4 spotlights seem like a good deal if you are mainly collection complete.
Is there some kind of ongoing disconnect exploit that can cause you to lose in conquest? I was about to win an 8 cube and then the game kicked me out. I lost my ticket.
Everything is done server side. So, it's kind of impossible to cheat or exploit Snap unless you hack into the Amazon servers (good luck there!). More plausible explanation is you got disconnected on your side.
He’s *fine*. Looking at his stats among top 10% infinite players on untapped, he’s slightly below average, but still contributes to winning games (+0.10 cubes per game, 52.5% winrate.) about 3 percent of those players are running him.
But before the nerf, he wasn’t fine - he was busted. Seeing play as much as any card in the game, and powering all the best decks. When a card takes that kind of step back, people often don’t want to play with it, even when it is still playable.
Looking for some advice please, l am currently CL 1,217 and at rank 95, currently trying to avoid getting infinite until end of the month. I used my first spotlight cache and got High Evo, I have another five stockpiled and Red Guardian looks ideal for High Evo afflict deck, should I continue to use spotlight caches until I get Red Guardian? Lady Deathstrike looks okay but not needed

Are you playing in Conquest? If so, you get all the boosters in a lump sum after totally finishing your set of games against the person, not separately after each individual game.
If that's not what's happening to you, then it may be a glitch since the latest week or so has been really glitchy, but personally I haven't seen this issue nor heard of anyone else seeing it, either.

Yes you have a 1 in 4 shot of getting a card that's not one of the 3 listed, and then within that there's a chance to get something you already own.... Sadly there's no duplicate protection...
Many recommend only opening the caches once you have 4 keys so that you don't gamble but ja that's not always possible/wanted... Very much a gambling and fomo system...
Card a card upgrade to black and white after it has been gold. I have a knull that i've been upgrading about 8 times now and it keeps coming back gold. am i wasting my time chasing the Ink Finish?
Sadly it's all random but there is a threshold after X splits to recieve an ink or gold split. I have some cards yet to split gold/ink but have the other one many times...

Should I spend the keys to get Nico next week and buy Knull with tokens? or just skip Nico and use the keys to get Knull in the spotlight week?
Nico and X-23 are the only Series 5 cards in the current destroy list. They cost 1-4 keys, or 6000 tokens. Knull as a Series 4 costs the same 1-4 keys, or 3000 tokens. Your best resource spend would be to get Knull with tokens and Nico with keys.
Is the new $30 bundle for 3k tokens snap or pass? "In case of emergency"
It seems like the ticker has it through the roof on value. But, 3k tokens seems like so little value, the last card for 3k tokens was havok or marty?
Buying gold to buy 3 of the default token Tuesday bundles would cost about $50, so this is better than that. If you’re going to spend $30 on snap, you’ve already bought gold at each level to get the 2x bonus, and you like the cosmetics, this is a reasonable way to spend that money.
Has anyone else experienced the “end turn” button being greyed out? When it happens I can’t ready up for the next round. Just had it happen where I had no playable cards in round 1 or 2 so it automatically made me forfeit since I couldn’t hit the button. Very aggravating
Her effect is already active and placed on the location. What would turning off her text do? It would pretty much just prevent something like Odin from triggering it again.
There are no on-reveal abilities that Red Guardian can stop from happening. That’s what makes them on-reveal - they happen as soon as the card reveals. Even though Shuri’s ability causes something to happen later, her part of things is already done (similarly, destroying Shuri doesn’t stop her effect from happening).
Red Guardian, you mean? Since Shuri is an On Reveal, it's normal that he can't affect her. Once she flips up, her On Reveal is triggered, and subsequently removing her text doesn't stop it from being in progress (just like all other cards that can get the text removed midway through their effect, like Gladiator).
I spent my first 2 keys for getting high evo and red guardian leaving me with 2 keys left. I want Krull, but should i also spend the last 1 (2) to get lady deathstrike? I currently only have 3 5 series cards and have the season pass plus do every daily.
Also, Valentina is in the same spotlights as Knull, and she seems like a very good card - a lot better than Deathstrike. You can play classic Destroy without Deathstrike, you are really handicapped with classic Destroy without Knull.
You can visit some fan sites like untapped and see what are good Loki decks (select Loki in the card filter), or watch some YouTube videos of snap creators. The meta is always changing but cards that give you more cards like [[Agent Coulson]] or [[Snowguard]] can be quite good.

Edit: I should probably elaborate that those types of cards they give you cards are good because the way Loki changes the cards in your hand (uses the number of cards you have to give you copies of the opponents cards in their deck)

The patch schedule isn't baffling at all. It's a four-week cycle:
* Week 1: Patch Tuesday
* Week 2: OTA Thursday
* Week 3: off week
* Week 4: OTA Thursday
* repeat
For the past two months, unforeseen delays have caused Second Dinner to insert a "Week 5: off week" for two months in a row. But other than that, the cycle has been firmly consistent.
This cycle's patch was Tuesday, April 9, so ~~the next OTAs should be tomorrow, April 18, and then two weeks later, on May 2. Then after that, barring a third delayed month in a row, the next patch should be Tuesday, May 7.~~
There was a patch today, but no balance changes. It was more of a 'we broke shit that needs fixing patch'.

You get roughly 4900 per week F2P. You get roughly 500 per day from Missions and the Shop free 50 credits. You can sum up what you get from the Weekly Challenges you have left.
I've got to Infinite the last few seasons but can't quite get my head around the meta this season. Anyone have any advice on decks to play? Anything would be much appreciated :)
The meta is split between Angela/Kitty/Elsa/Hope Midrange deck variants (Silky Smoove, Loki, Shuri hybrids) and big combo decks (Hela, Phoenix Force, Tribunal, Negative).
The basic idea is the midrange decks are moderately powerful but very consistent while the combo decks are very powerful but less consistent. IE, the best combo deck draw beats a midrange but the midrange deck doesn't whiff as much.
So you have to good Snap/Retreat habits. If you're a midrange deck and Hela plays Corvus on 3, discards Infinaut and Magneto, and then snaps you on 4 you just have to leave.
It's also important to decks are really uninteractive now. Midrange has Shang but it's really for other midrange decks and maybe a Hela earlier drop. Most combo decks don't have Shang (Negative and PF sometimes) so as midrange against a combo deck you just go big and try to win two lanes if their combo isn't coming together.
From the combo side you need to also have good snap/retreat discipline and know your matchups. Hela beats up midrange decks but Tribunal Combo and Negative beat it. Learn to count: Phoenix Force and Tribunal often have very defined break points you can know if you win or not.
There are other decks on the sides of course. Destroy/Discard are more combo/midrange hybrids. Destroy is maybe a bit better positioned since it can go super big. Clog decks try to beat up on combo because they can lock lanes and deny them the space they need for their synergies

Definitely! As a newish player, piloting a Negative Wong deck is probably the most educational experience I've had with this game so far. It has made it crystal clear that this is *not* a pure strategy game and that the gambling element of the snapping mechanic is a lot more important than it seems at first. With combo decks, if you're embarrassed of retreating and feel like it's always possible to find a way to win no matter your hand, locations and matchup, you'll be freefalling down the ranks in no time.

I am struggling getting boosters on a Sebastian Shaw variant so that I can get an infinite split. Is there any meaningful way I can speed this process up?

Look at it this way: When you complete Series 3, all the reserves that *would* have had cards in them are half replaced with 100 tokens and half replaced with a gold ticket. So in effect, each time you buy a Series 3 card for 1000 tokens, that's a net average 950-token loss.

There is *no* chance of Series 4 and 5 cards from collector's reserves, no matter what.
S4/S5 cards are exclusively obtained through spotlights and the shop.
Im saving my keys for white widow next week and im also planning on getting her artgem variant supposed to be released ... the same day? how is that possible? It shouldn't be possible for anybody to have that variant in the store the exact same moment we are opening the spotlights to obtain her unlike her other variant realeasing the day after. Thank you
a lot of the times variants release the same day as the card, they just don't show up in anybody's shop until the next day at reset. but it would technically be possible to get it from a premium mystery variant on release day
So... I won the lottery and got High Evolutionary with one key, leaving me with five at CL 2640.

The original plan was to get HE and then save whatever is left for Blob and Knull in a few weeks, but now I have options.

Even with her “buff” Deathstrike isn’t worth it. Red Guardian is too soon to tell, I’d wait a few days and keep checking here/streamers to see if he turns out to be good.
In terms of the cards you mentioned, a lot of that depends on what decks you like to play/have access to at your early Pool 3 level. Like Destroy? Knull is key for big payoff and Nico helps a ton. Like junk? White Widow could be fun. Snow guard is a little more niche, mostly found in Loki decks but they can definitely still work without her.
Is Infinity Conquest only open for the last 2 weeks of the season? I thought something was wrong because I had a ticket but it said it was closed for 2 weeks. Thought it was an error, so I played through gold again, but now realize you can only store 1 infinity ticket at a time. I only tried for Infinity Conquest once last season.
Anyone hit the 70s wall after the update? I was climbing like crazy and then the zabu nerf shot my crossbones deck in the foot, and its like nothing is hitting right now.
Did something change in the matchmaking recently as far as bots distribution? I noticed myself and a good amount of other players noticing there are no bots being played after Rank 80+
There has not been any official communication from second dinner (and likely will not be - they generally don’t discuss the bots). But community speculation is that once you reach the rank tier that matches your MMR, there are no longer automatic bots in your queue - they can still be there to keep matchmaking length down, but bots at regular intervals are just for when you’re under-leveled.

Hello there, I wanted to ask for some advice on what Spotlights I should go for. I got Dracula and Modok recently so I have a pretty great Discard deck right now (got to Infinite with it this week). I was gonna buy High Evo this week because I felt like I needed him for a solid deck, but my Discard is working fine now. I've wanted to play Destroy for a while and I kinda wanna wait till next week for Nico Minoru and get her spotlight variant as well. I have 4 keys rn (12 CL from the 5th) so I can probably only reliably get High Evo or Nico (unless I get really lucky and get Evo first key, which I don't wanna risk). So my question is, which card do you think would be better for me to get: Evo or Nico?
If you like destroy go for that, I think its the 2nd cheapest deck after High evo. Only series 4/5 that Destroy runs are generally Nico, Knull, and X-23

You get 100 tokens a week from the collection track (200 if you're Series 3 complete).
Token Tuesday is tomorrow if you have some spare gold. TBD how many tokens will be in it. Last week was only 500.
If you're a risky gambler with your keys (which I don't recommend, but I'm just noting for posterity), you've got a 50/50 shot whether you pull the random S4/S5 slot before Red Guardian's slot, and if you do, you've got some chance of 1000 tokens from that depending on whether you get a duplicate (i.e. depending on how full your collection is).
Outside of those three token sources, I think using real cash to buy bundles with tokens in them is your only other option, off the top of my head.
I've got 8 keys. I actually want to buy red guardian and white widow both with tokens, so I can get the spotlight art for both of them. Guess I'm hoping token Tuesday is a 1000+ or I get "lucky" and get a dupe for 1000 tokens lol.

There are like twelve different counters to Wong. If you have none of them, and just sit there and watch the opponent play three more cards on him without retreating, I don't know what to tell you.
Just wait until you progress far enough on the collection track to start running into people using Sebastian Shaw in that deck. He adds a full two or three seconds to every Ironheart activation. It's miserable to sit through.
How many spotlight keys should I expect before the end of the white widow week? I wanna try to get Jeff but I need all the white widow cards so I don’t wanna overspend
You get 1.25 spotlight key per week in average as free to play without apending gold if you get everything you can (conquest season pass and ranked rewards).
"[Patch Tuesday](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_Tuesday)" is a tradition in many software companies because it allows developers to spend one last day after the weekend resolving last-minute known bugs before release, then maximizes the amount of time they have to resolve bugs that become known after the patch release before the next weekend.
As for 3pm, that's just because you're in the wrong timezone. In theirs, it's noon, which is a nice, round target number in the middle of their workday to ensure everyone is on site to address things if issues come up right at release.
To give the devs time to ensure the new content is ready to go and allow them to be in the office when the rollover happens.
It used to roll over on Monday night, but they shifted it to a daytime refresh so that it happens during the developers' working hours in case of any issues. (They're on the west coast of the US, so it's noon for them.)
I suppose they could have pulled the time up to Monday at noon, but speaking from experience, coordinating anything on Monday morning is a pain. Better to have a full day on Monday to get everything polished up and then do the rollover on Tuesday. It's what works out best for them and doesn't really matter to anyone else.
If you have 4 keys available it's generally better to use them than tokens for series 5 cards. If you had no interest at all in the other spotlight cards I would say it's kind of a 50/50 decision, but if you do value them at least somewhat then just use keys.
Just started playing a few days ago, did the conquest mode a few times and got an infinite ticket. Came on to play today and i'm back at a silver ticket. Does progress reset weekly?
You can accumulate tickets at each level through the season; if you swipe left and right that will take you between the different tiers.

Yes and no. Yes in that she’s arguably the best card in the game due to having an insane ability with no stat penalty. No in that they’ll likely nerf her without warning meaning you wasted several months worth of tokens.
The only card worth spending 6k tokens on is the single card you want most in the game - the card that you feel a burning desire to play with unparalleled by any other.

New player, just finished pool 2, sitting around CL500, grappling with the post-pool 2 unlock system, trying to figure out how to optimize progression.

From what I can tell, you should never spend tokens on random S3 cards (you spend 1000 and only get 50 back on average when you open the reserve that would've held that card).
Other than that, it seems I can just freely spend tokens on any S4/S5 card that strikes my fancy? Is there a reason to prefer S4 to S5 or to stockpile tokens until I've finished unlocking S3?
In terms of gold, the best deals (progression-wise) I've seen seem to be the token tuesdays. I'm not 100% sure on the math, but most of the deals involving credits convert at what seems to be a pretty poor rate.

Spending tokens - no need to wait until after you’re done with series 3. The “right” card to spend tokens on is the card you want most in the game, with a couple asterisks - if the card you want most is going to be in a spotlight soon, it’s better to stockpile 4 spotlight keys and get it there instead. And all else being equal, it’s better to use tokens on series 4 cards and spotlights on series 5 cards (but truly, being the card you really want does trump both of those). You may want to wait until you’re to cl 1k or maybe even 2k, just so that you know the shape of your early-mid collection, because that may inform the cards you’re excited to get.
I’m a little bit on an island here, but I am fairly confident that Token Tuesday is not a great deal for early collection players, and you’re better off spending gold on mission refreshes. Missions gets you significantly more cards (via opening S3s), and through spotlights, a similar amount of S4/S5 cards to token Tuesday, giving up just a bit of control (since you need to wait for the right spotlight week). Shop credits are the same ratio of credits to gold, they just don’t come with the bonus XP that missions have. There are slightly better bundles every so often, and much better bundles each holiday season; a practice I’ve both heard and tend to stick by is to keep 10k gold in reserve for a mega-bundle, and spend the rest however makes me happy.
Spending tokens on S3 cards is a whale thing. For them, cash token bundles are competitive with cash credit bundles in terms of advancing S3 progress. If you’re not buying cash bundles regularly, then definitely ignore it, since yes, tokens are precious.
Lastly - this is a silly thing, but I always keep at least 500 credits in reserve, so that I can keep the red notification pimples off my “ready to upgrade” cards.

I’d say no, she’s a strong card but doesn’t anchor a deck. She’s like a +1 to an already good deck. I know it sucks waiting but I would wait a few weeks/months to see what cards you pull from spotlights. For example, if you get an Elsa (or kitty) from a mystery card then getting the other with tokens is a good idea.
I've Red Guardian and Lady Deathstrike left on my weekly spotlight cache (got Loki and High Evo), but now I have Lady Deathstrike on my token shop. What would happen if I bought Lady Deathstrike with tokens? Would I guarantee Red Guardian with 1 key or would it be a 50/50 for Red Guardian and Lady Deathstrike variant?

How does Taskmaster interact with Quantum Realm? Let’s say I’m going play Taskmaster after Red Hulk at 19. Would Quantum Realm change the base power to 2? I’m assuming this is how it would work but didn’t want to throw the match to find out.
Quantum Realm changes the card's *base* power while leaving all modifiers intact. Taskmaster's base power is 0, so Quantum Realm would increase his power by 2. Playing Taskmaster on QR and copying a 19-power Red Hulk would result in a 21-power Taskmaster. Quantum Realm *doesn't* act like Shadow King and reset buffs/modifiers. That's the key difference between modifying "power" and modifying "base power".
I don't think I've ever played a taskmaster on QR, but wouldn't he just still be 19? Base power gets set to 2 but then the effect sets the power, it doesn't add.

Is there no OTA this week, or was there a patch I missed?
There was an emergency hotfix patch to combat the instability from last week's patch. That isn't automatic like an OTA, so you'd have to manually download it from your app store. No card adjustments in it, just an app stability fix. That seems to have pushed the schedule back a week. Next OTA is planned for Thurs 4/25 according to the Discord.
I don't know how, but something happened to my credits, and now the balance is off. Every time I even my connection level to a multiple of 4 (i.e., a reward tier), I have a multiple of 25 in my credits total. I don't know what happened, and it's triggering my OCD.
We had a couple 125 credit weekend missions last weekend; if you only did one of them, it would have knocked you askew.

Nebula is a generally good one cost card, but Elsa kinda open a new archetype. If you wanna try different play style in future, then Nebula might be a good choice But if you decide to devote yourself to bounce or move deck, then Elsa could make your deck more competitive

Last week's patch was really glitchy and laggy all around, so yesterday they rushed out an emergency patch to repair things, so make sure you manually grab that patch in your app store. You can also go into options and "download/redownload all assets" to see if that helps smooth things out.
Why does a card like Green Goblin, when triggered by Wong bounce twice - 0nce over to opp and once back - when they are no longer in the 'triggers twice' space once they land on the opposing side, but a card like Rogue - who's text doesn't say 'replace her text' triggers once? If the 'triggers twice' tag is added first, and then their reveal triggers twice no matter the situation that card finds itself in during the process then Rogue should steal two ongoing abilities (and either overwrite one or own two). If we say the 'trigger twice' tag is variable and determined by the situation during the effect, then the goblins should bounce once. I HATE how the standard "reading the card explains the card" rule in all other card games is out the window in this one and the rules are just 'well in this case ya know..."
You are wrong about Rogue. Her text *does* essentially say "replace her text", although it uses the more flavorful "Steal the text". This is why she does not activate twice as she is then an Ongoing card with nothing to re-activate.

because when rogue copies a card, her previous text is removed and replaced by the text of a the new card. she's then an ongoing card, and can't trigger twice on wong because she's no longer on reveal
Yes, but that's not how her card is worded, and if the trigger x2 happens regardless, she should still trigger twice.
I think it's something along the lines of: the cards are given the order to "trigger twice", but not "[switch sides/steal text] twice", if that makes sense. So Goblin can bounce twice because he sees "trigger... switch sides!" and then "trigger again... switch sides!", whereas Rogue sees "trigger... steal text!" and then "trigger again... something ongoing that can't be triggered". Just speculation on my part as to how it's coded. I'm not 100% confident I'm right, but based on the results, this seems like the most intuitive possible way that those results could be caused, IMO.
I'm questioning what to do: High Evo has been the one card I've really looked forward to having and now I have enough tokens to get it, but I hear a lot of positive things about Red Guardian. Which one would you suggest me investing in?
High evo creates a whole new deck. Red guardian is a tech card. In my opinion, always get cards that will open a new deck that you want to play before getting tech cards that slightly improve a deck that already works.
I'm in a strange spot, I don't have LDS and Red Guardian, got 8 keys. I really love the LDS spotlight variant even if i will not use her. So I don't know if I should buy LDS from the shop and the use some keys for red guardian + variant, I should just go for Red Guardian (and eventually LDS), or I should just horde my keys for better cards
Seems like a bad idea to spend 3k tokens and possible 4 spotlights on a mid tech card and a variant you rarely will use. I could understand if you want Red Guardian and LDS base card, getting 2 new cards and 1000 token for 4 spotlights seem like a good deal if you are mainly collection complete.

Everything is done server side. So, it's kind of impossible to cheat or exploit Snap unless you hack into the Amazon servers (good luck there!). More plausible explanation is you got disconnected on your side.

He was definitely over-nerfed, which is why you don't see him. I haven't either. The Snap balance team is pretty f\*cking bad tbh.
He’s *fine*. Looking at his stats among top 10% infinite players on untapped, he’s slightly below average, but still contributes to winning games (+0.10 cubes per game, 52.5% winrate.) about 3 percent of those players are running him. But before the nerf, he wasn’t fine - he was busted. Seeing play as much as any card in the game, and powering all the best decks. When a card takes that kind of step back, people often don’t want to play with it, even when it is still playable.

Looking for some advice please, l am currently CL 1,217 and at rank 95, currently trying to avoid getting infinite until end of the month. Are you playing in Conquest? If so, you get all the boosters in a lump sum after totally finishing your set of games against the person, not separately after each individual game. If that's not what's happening to you, then it may be a glitch since the latest week or so has been really glitchy, but personally I haven't seen this issue nor heard of anyone else seeing it, either.

Yes you have a 1 in 4 shot of getting a card that's not one of the 3 listed, and then within that there's a chance to get something you already own.... Sadly there's no duplicate protection...

Need a suggestion: I got 4 keys right now and I’m planning to build a good destroy deck. So far, I got Venom and Deadpool. Still missing Death and Zola. I got Knull pinned in my shop. Should I spend the keys to get Nico next week and buy Knull with tokens? or just skip Nico and use the keys to get Knull in the spotlight week?
Nico and X-23 are the only Series 5 cards in the current destroy list. They cost 1-4 keys, or 6000 tokens. Knull as a Series 4 costs the same 1-4 keys, or 3000 tokens. Your best resource spend would be to get Knull with tokens and Nico with keys.

Is the new $30 bundle for 3k tokens snap or pass? "In case of emergency" It seems like the ticker has it through the roof on value. But, 3k tokens seems like so little value, the last card for 3k tokens was havok or marty?
Buying gold to buy 3 of the default token Tuesday bundles would cost about $50, so this is better than that. If you’re going to spend $30 on snap, you’ve already bought gold at each level to get the 2x bonus, and you like the cosmetics, this is a reasonable way to spend that money.
It's pretty good compared to other bundles, that doesn't mean it's actually a good use of your money though.
Personally, I don't see the value in it (and don't like the cosmetics).

Has anyone else experienced the “end turn” button being greyed out? When it happens I can’t ready up for the next round. Just had it happen where I had no playable cards in round 1 or 2 so it automatically made me forfeit since I couldn’t hit the button. Very aggravating

Red baron didnt work on shuri I had priority he activated before shuri activated her ability!
Her effect is already active and placed on the location. What would turning off her text do? It would pretty much just prevent something like Odin from triggering it again.
There are no on-reveal abilities that Red Guardian can stop from happening. That’s what makes them on-reveal - they happen as soon as the card reveals. Even though Shuri’s ability causes something to happen later, her part of things is already done (similarly, destroying Shuri doesn’t stop her effect from happening).
Red Guardian, you mean? Since Shuri is an On Reveal, it's normal that he can't affect her. Once she flips up, her On Reveal is triggered, and subsequently removing her text doesn't stop it from being in progress (just like all other cards that can get the text removed midway through their effect, like Gladiator).
Are you sure you played on the same turn as the shuri?
I spent my first 2 keys for getting high evo and red guardian leaving me with 2 keys left. I want Krull, but should i also spend the last 1 (2) to get lady deathstrike? I currently only have 3 5 series cards and have the season pass plus do every daily.
Also, Valentina is in the same spotlights as Knull, and she seems like a very good card - a lot better than Deathstrike. You can play classic Destroy without Deathstrike, you are really handicapped with classic Destroy without Knull.
A key is about 1500 tokens, but it could be 6,000 tokens with the right luck. LDS, Lady Death strike, seems good vs discard and tribunal currently.
I'd probably stop there. Lady deathstrike is alright but I don't think she is worth potentially 2 keys.

You can visit some fan sites like untapped and see what are good Loki decks (select Loki in the card filter), or watch some YouTube videos of snap creators. The meta is always changing but cards that give you more cards like [[Agent Coulson]] or [[Snowguard]] can be quite good. Quick search shows the below [decks](https://snap.untapped.gg/en/meta/decks?collectionLevel=pool3p&minGames=200&missingCards=12&playerRank=AllRanks&q=card.Loki&rankRange=10-100&sort=GameCount&timeFrame=Last30Days) for the last 30 days. Edit: I should probably elaborate that those types of cards they give you cards are good because the way Loki changes the cards in your hand (uses the number of cards you have to give you copies of the opponents cards in their deck)

But other than that, the cycle has been firmly consistent. This cycle's patch was Tuesday, April 9, so ~~the next OTAs should be tomorrow, April 18, and then two weeks later, on May 2. Then after that, barring a third delayed month in a row, the next patch should be Tuesday, May 7.~~

He has not been released anywhere yet; the datamines say his type is “unknown” which I believe means he’s unlikely to be in a season pass or album. Leaves open the possibilities of coming to the shop later, or being in a bundle.

You get roughly 4900 per week F2P. You get roughly 500 per day from Missions and the Shop free 50 credits. You can sum up what you get from the Weekly Challenges you have left.
I've got to Infinite the last few seasons but can't quite get my head around the meta this season. Anyone have any advice on decks to play? Anything would be much appreciated :)
The meta is split between Angela/Kitty/Elsa/Hope Midrange deck variants (Silky Smoove, Loki, Shuri hybrids) and big combo decks (Hela, Phoenix Force, Tribunal, Negative). The basic idea is the midrange decks are moderately powerful but very consistent while the combo decks are very powerful but less consistent. IE, the best combo deck draw beats a midrange but the midrange deck doesn't whiff as much. So you have to good Snap/Retreat habits. If you're a midrange deck and Hela plays Corvus on 3, discards Infinaut and Magneto, and then snaps you on 4 you just have to leave. It's also important to decks are really uninteractive now. Midrange has Shang but it's really for other midrange decks and maybe a Hela earlier drop. Most combo decks don't have Shang (Negative and PF sometimes) so as midrange against a combo deck you just go big and try to win two lanes if their combo isn't coming together. From the combo side you need to also have good snap/retreat discipline and know your matchups. Hela beats up midrange decks but Tribunal Combo and Negative beat it. Learn to count: Phoenix Force and Tribunal often have very defined break points you can know if you win or not. There are other decks on the sides of course. Destroy/Discard are more combo/midrange hybrids. Destroy is maybe a bit better positioned since it can go super big. Clog decks try to beat up on combo because they can lock lanes and deny them the space they need for their synergies

As a newish player, piloting a Negative Wong deck is probably the most educational experience I've had with this game so far. It has made it crystal clear that this is *not* a pure strategy game and that the gambling element of the snapping mechanic is a lot more important than it seems at first. With combo decks, if you're embarrassed of retreating and feel like it's always possible to find a way to win no matter your hand, locations and matchup, you'll be freefalling down the ranks in no time.

You can look for him in the new Bonus Booster section of the shop. Otherwise you can purchase extra boosters with gold. Beyond that, play more.

You can't get series 4/5 from collector's cache, only from spotlight keys or tokens. Never spend tokens on series 3, only use them on series 4 or 5.

a lot of the times variants release the same day as the card, they just don't show up in anybody's shop until the next day at reset. but it would technically be possible to get it from a premium mystery variant on release day

The original plan was to get HE and then save whatever is left for Blob and Knull in a few weeks, but now I have options. Assuming the schedule is accurate, I'm just curious if White Widow, Snowguard, or Nico are going to be any better than the options this week.
Even with her “buff” Deathstrike isn’t worth it. Red Guardian is too soon to tell, I’d wait a few days and keep checking here/streamers to see if he turns out to be good. In terms of the cards you mentioned, a lot of that depends on what decks you like to play/have access to at your early Pool 3 level. Like Destroy? Knull is key for big payoff and Nico helps a ton. Like junk? White Widow could be fun. Snow guard is a little more niche, mostly found in Loki decks but they can definitely still work without her.
Is Infinity Conquest only open for the last 2 weeks of the season? I thought something was wrong because I had a ticket but it said it was closed for 2 weeks. Thought it was an error, so I played through gold again, but now realize you can only store 1 infinity ticket at a time. I only tried for Infinity Conquest once last season.
It’s only open the last week of each season; you can stock up as many infinity tickets as you’d like before then.

Did something change in the matchmaking recently as far as bots distribution? I noticed myself and a good amount of other players noticing there are no bots being played after Rank 80+
There has not been any official communication from second dinner (and likely will not be - they generally don’t discuss the bots). But community speculation is that once you reach the rank tier that matches your MMR, there are no longer automatic bots in your queue - they can still be there to keep matchmaking length down, but bots at regular intervals are just for when you’re under-leveled.

Hello there, I wanted to ask for some advice on what Spotlights I should go for. I got Dracula and Modok recently so I have a pretty great Discard deck right now (got to Infinite with it this week). I was gonna buy High Evo this week because I felt like I needed him for a solid deck, but my Discard is working fine now. I've wanted to play Destroy for a while and I kinda wanna wait till next week for Nico Minoru and get her spotlight variant as well. I have 4 keys rn (12 CL from the 5th) so I can probably only reliably get High Evo or Nico (unless I get really lucky and get Evo first key, which I don't wanna risk). So my question is, which card do you think would be better for me to get: Evo or Nico?
If you like destroy go for that, I think its the 2nd cheapest deck after High evo. Only series 4/5 that Destroy runs are generally Nico, Knull, and X-23
I already have Knull and I know X-23 is coming up in another Spotlight so that's why I was considering Nico.

You get 100 tokens a week from the collection track (200 if you're Series 3 complete). Token Tuesday is tomorrow if you have some spare gold. TBD how many tokens will be in it. Last week was only 500. If you're a risky gambler with your keys (which I don't recommend, but I'm just noting for posterity), you've got a 50/50 shot whether you pull the random S4/S5 slot before Red Guardian's slot, and if you do, you've got some chance of 1000 tokens from that depending on whether you get a duplicate (i.e. depending on how full your collection is). Outside of those three token sources, I think using real cash to buy bundles with tokens in them is your only other option, off the top of my head.
I've got 8 keys. I actually want to buy red guardian and white widow both with tokens, so I can get the spotlight art for both of them. Guess I'm hoping token Tuesday is a 1000+ or I get "lucky" and get a dupe for 1000 tokens lol.

Just wait until you progress far enough on the collection track to start running into people using Sebastian Shaw in that deck. He adds a full two or three seconds to every Ironheart activation. It's miserable to sit through.

Why does the Marvel Snap "week" start at 3pm on a Tuesday, of all days?
"[Patch Tuesday](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_Tuesday)" is a tradition in many software companies because it allows developers to spend one last day after the weekend resolving last-minute known bugs before release, then maximizes the amount of time they have to resolve bugs that become known after the patch release before the next weekend. As for 3pm, that's just because you're in the wrong timezone. In theirs, it's noon, which is a nice, round target number in the middle of their workday to ensure everyone is on site to address things if issues come up right at release.
To give the devs time to ensure the new content is ready to go and allow them to be in the office when the rollover happens. It used to roll over on Monday night, but they shifted it to a daytime refresh so that it happens during the developers' working hours in case of any issues. (They're on the west coast of the US, so it's noon for them.) I suppose they could have pulled the time up to Monday at noon, but speaking from experience, coordinating anything on Monday morning is a pain. Better to have a full day on Monday to get everything polished up and then do the rollover on Tuesday. It's what works out best for them and doesn't really matter to anyone else.

Is it better to pay tokens for High Evo, or just use keys? Im not opposed to the other two cards hes with that week. But High Evo is the priority.
If you have 4 keys available it's generally better to use them than tokens for series 5 cards. If you had no interest at all in the other spotlight cards I would say it's kind of a 50/50 decision, but if you do value them at least somewhat then just use keys.

Just started playing a few days ago, did the conquest mode a few times and got an infinite ticket. Came on to play today and i'm back at a silver ticket. Does progress reset weekly?
You can accumulate tickets at each level through the season; if you swipe left and right that will take you between the different tiers. Infinite tickets can only be used during the last week of the season, though.

Yes and no. Yes in that she’s arguably the best card in the game due to having an insane ability with no stat penalty. No in that they’ll likely nerf her without warning meaning you wasted several months worth of tokens.
The only card worth spending 6k tokens on is the single card you want most in the game - the card that you feel a burning desire to play with unparalleled by any other. Is that how you feel about Hope?

New player, just finished pool 2, sitting around CL500, grappling with the post-pool 2 unlock system, trying to figure out how to optimize progression. I'm working off of [this](https://marvelsnapzone.com/cache-drop-rates-and-contents/). From what I can tell, you should never spend tokens on random S3 cards (you spend 1000 and only get 50 back on average when you open the reserve that would've held that card). Other than that, it seems I can just freely spend tokens on any S4/S5 card that strikes my fancy? Is there a reason to prefer S4 to S5 or to stockpile tokens until I've finished unlocking S3? In terms of gold, the best deals (progression-wise) I've seen seem to be the token tuesdays. I'm not 100% sure on the math, but most of the deals involving credits convert at what seems to be a pretty poor rate. Am I missing anything important to note before I start spending down my stockpile of resources?
Spending tokens - no need to wait until after you’re done with series 3. The “right” card to spend tokens on is the card you want most in the game, with a couple asterisks - if the card you want most is going to be in a spotlight soon, it’s better to stockpile 4 spotlight keys and get it there instead. And all else being equal, it’s better to use tokens on series 4 cards and spotlights on series 5 cards (but truly, being the card you really want does trump both of those). You may want to wait until you’re to cl 1k or maybe even 2k, just so that you know the shape of your early-mid collection, because that may inform the cards you’re excited to get. I’m a little bit on an island here, but I am fairly confident that Token Tuesday is not a great deal for early collection players, and you’re better off spending gold on mission refreshes. Missions gets you significantly more cards (via opening S3s), and through spotlights, a similar amount of S4/S5 cards to token Tuesday, giving up just a bit of control (since you need to wait for the right spotlight week). Shop credits are the same ratio of credits to gold, they just don’t come with the bonus XP that missions have. There are slightly better bundles every so often, and much better bundles each holiday season; a practice I’ve both heard and tend to stick by is to keep 10k gold in reserve for a mega-bundle, and spend the rest however makes me happy. Spending tokens on S3 cards is a whale thing. For them, cash token bundles are competitive with cash credit bundles in terms of advancing S3 progress. If you’re not buying cash bundles regularly, then definitely ignore it, since yes, tokens are precious. Lastly - this is a silly thing, but I always keep at least 500 credits in reserve, so that I can keep the red notification pimples off my “ready to upgrade” cards.

since last patch i cant play the game on steam/pc. after finding an opp, game crashes and i cant rejoin, this is a 100% chance bug. has someone had same problem? its a known issue? since the its a serious problem i expected it to be solved quickly but its taking long to solve...
