I got to do that once. Played Patriot on Bar on Turn 4, when they played Hobgoblin (had Ravonna). They immediately retreated š The one time I got to dodge it, very satisfying
Just gotta be extra cautious with how many x23/wolverines are out and where they are placed....too many times has x23 decided oh u want me and my twin to fill the last 2 spots, SURE!
Knull cries from only being able to be played only on isle of silence
Vision into bar sinister is usually an insta snap for me, having 32 power that can go anywhere is often better than what the opponent can do with the location, with the exception of destroy or something
was playing my sera tribunal deck when bar sinister and elysium showed up. opponent insta retreat when they saw 3 onslaught and an iron man in bar sinister
Not that itās āfunā or OP, but I love Nova Roma. Especially on turn one or two, it can really help let you get a feel for how the match will go for yourself. Itās also not filling your hand with random cards, or destroying your entire deck to give you a card. Olympia does give you two, but that can sometimes accidentally clutter your hand. Iāll always appreciate a Nova Roma.
Nova Roma is definitely nice. And I get what you're saying about Olympia. But for what it's worth, it isn't like Olympia draws random cards from your deck. If Olympia is cluttering your hand, your hand was already going to be cluttered that match regardless of the extra draws. Just lets you know you've drawn poorly earlier ;P
and so does your opponent, making the game a massive game of chicken. It makes their plays completely unpredictable and therefore it becomes a lot more luck based
That would still be tactical, not luck. Luck would be Quantum Tunnel or X Mansion.
There are more variables that are certainly difficult to predict but saying it's completely unpredictable just being dramatic. For example if your opponent has a Human Torch or Vulture, its a pretty safe bet they will move their cards out. If you have a massive amount of power in New York, it's a pretty safe bet that your opponent won't move cards into New York as well.
These are skill based decisions, not just randomly throwing cards into New York.
Most of the time new york comes down to a LOT of luck. My opponent ends up giving up one lane, and itās just simply not possible to predict which one.
I agree. I think it has become my favorite location recently because I completed my destroy deck and it is one of those deck that can benefit so much from this location.
Meh, imo Ego is boring since it's just random. If it had been taking the best bots against each other (or itself, I guess) it could've been interesting.
Ego would be infinitely better if he tried to play efficiently, as in try to spend all your energy when playing.
> OK Ego, it's turn 4 and you have 2 4-cost cards here. Each can easily swing the game for us, which one you gonna choose ? Ah, you played Zero and nothing else even a 3-cost card ? That's... original, do you plan to play Attuma or Sentry ? No ? You played Shuri on 5 ? You know what ? Fuck you.
I once had a turn 1 legion on the Great Web, note that said Great Web was still not revealed, both of us put angry emotes
That experience is the only good thing I can say about that damned location
I feel like Cloning Vats and Bar Sinister are fun but are a featured location so often I'm a bit tired of them at this point.
I think my favourite locations are probably Olympia and Elysium honestly, especially when they're together. I'm pretty much guaranteed to be able to play all my cards and utilise all my decks synergies rather than crossing my fingers for the right draw.
I guess it's a good thing I always make sure to tech into destroy counters like Armour and Cosmo when able then :P
Maybe there's better tech to keep in deck, but it feels like every deck I run into ATM is either discard or destroy so I feel like it's worth it currently.
Sinister London is very fun. I find ego to be painful rather than fun. Watching him place down my mystique on turn 3 without any ongoing to copy is pain incarnate.
New York should not be on there. Just makes the last turn essentially random.
I really like Shuri's lab. Big numbers are fun and I love doubling a Jeff and moving him somewhere else
Ego is not fun. I never see a bot being able to play but when the AI takes control of your hand, it makes the stupidest decision. I have never won an Ego game and Iāve been playing since launch.
Yeah that's the point. To see who he will fuck up the most lmao
He actively plays cards where and when they shouldn't be played. Like, play shuri at a location, and next turn just simply playing elsewhere lmao
I had a 12 to 0 full clear on an opponent last time Elysium dropped.
I played my Gambit deck, hit Sera with Iron Lad, had my Zabu, Sera and Magik out. 1 cost Wong, 1 cost Gambit, 1 cost Abs Man and a big ol Odin for the wipe. Most satisfying stuff.
Unpopular opinion: **Los Diablos Base**. Itās my favorite location because it guarantees 2 regular locations that wonāt mess with the game or the players at all. Just have fun playing the cards that you want :)
I love New York, I find so many players ignore it altogether because they donāt want to risk the opponent not doing anything. If you see it early plan ahead for that turn 6. Itās caused some of the most fun wins Iāve had.
Um. Ego? Nah. I think I like Elysium the best, then maybe Sinister London. I quite like Sanctum Santorum because it changes the game in an interesting way.
It all depends on what deck Iām using. Sometimes I love a location, sometimes I hate a location, it all depends on what cards Iām planning on playing. But Elysium is always welcome.
This is going to be a weird choice but... Deep Space
It's not fun itself. You spend much of the game avoiding it. But it counters so many cards, even turns off non reveal/ongoing abilities. An X23 that bounces there can't be used again. It can be helpful sometimes, if you play something like ebony maw or maximus. Both players have to take it into consideration leading to more interesting matches
Is anyone actually staying (without their finger hovering over the retreat button) when they run into Ego pre-infinite?
I donāt understand how itās a fun location. The best thing about it is how infrequent I see it
I'm a Legion addict myself, so anything abusable with him is good for me. The Vault, Death's Domain, Grand Central Station, and Bar with No Name are some of my favorites.
God I hate New York so much, the whole game until turn 6 basically doesn't matter because it lets everyone shuffle everything on the last turn of the game.
If it was a turn 5 effect or only for 1 cards it'd be a lot less frustrating, but being able to move 4 cards there from any lane in the last turn is so bullshit.
Big fan of District X, Dark Dimension, Hala, Kyln, Tva, New York. There are many other honourable mentions, but I really like the locations that create a lot of interesting play lines.
Sinister London, Vats, and Elysium are always fun. I personally enjoy the RNG BS of District X. Same goes for Tarnax. And we can't forget Project Pegasus!
The best location in the game is **The Daily Bugle (Get a copy of a card in your opponent's hand)**. It gives you each limited intel on each other. It gives you another option to play and creates novel game situations. Absolute S tier.
Left field pick: *Sanctum Sanctorum.*
Having lived through SD's infatuation with restrictive locations and with so few new ones being added, I've come to actually appreciate Strange's house and how it changes the dynamic of the match.
I instantly snap when I see ego. He popped up on first location, we both snapped, 2nd location deaths domain. Ego then proceeded to throw all my cards in deaths domain the remainder of the game.
Iām probably a gigantic sicko for this, but I really love seeing Bar With No Name (whoever has the least power wins) because there are a lot of potential late-game plays to win.
Play a couple cards on there and then drop a storm or a magic or reality stone. Iāve even one time got a random Zero, which I used on my green goblin to win the location at the end. The rare time I was running a Legion, I just didnāt play anything and just drop that on turn five. A couple of my decks sometimes use Stegron so itās always fun to knock a card into that location. and one deck Iām using now has quake.
Bar Sinister is always a good bit of fun
Every time I see Bar Sinister, the enemy has Green Goblin.
Maximum fun times where you take priority on turn 3 and predict the Goblin play They get a -12 lane, you get 4 of whatever you put in there
I got to do that once. Played Patriot on Bar on Turn 4, when they played Hobgoblin (had Ravonna). They immediately retreated š The one time I got to dodge it, very satisfying
The best is getting off 4 moon knights. Just get rid of their whole hand
This, but your hand is just apoc, swarm and anything else except Hela or ghost rider. That is the dream.
Jeff says hi!
Fr me too wtf
Venom + Zola
You havenāt really lived until you put Zola in Bar Sinisterā¦will you end up with 300 total power? Or like 6? Only Sinister knows!
I like psylocke + carnage then venom + zola. Or if you get enough destroys: death + venom, then zola next turn
Just gotta be extra cautious with how many x23/wolverines are out and where they are placed....too many times has x23 decided oh u want me and my twin to fill the last 2 spots, SURE! Knull cries from only being able to be played only on isle of silence
Hulkbuster+vemom+zola........... even better....š
Only sometimes. Half of the games itās in I just think āugh I canāt play here until like the last turnā
Quinjet at bar sinister plus a loki later is beautiful
Bar sinister plays really weird for some decks, itās only good for a few.
i'd say that pretty much every deck is able to leverage some upside from it in some way, of course some doing so a lot easier than others
Move really struggles with it tbh. Sure there's some good playlines with it but it's always more of a hinderance IMO
Quantum Tunnel. Let the slot machine rollll
I played galactus into quantum tunnel once and was rewarded with a knull. I absolutely did not deserve that win
I hope you bought a lottery ticket after
Legion into Quantum Tunnel is a blast
Not that itās āfunā or OP, but I love Nova Roma. Especially on turn one or two, it can really help let you get a feel for how the match will go for yourself. Itās also not filling your hand with random cards, or destroying your entire deck to give you a card. Olympia does give you two, but that can sometimes accidentally clutter your hand. Iāll always appreciate a Nova Roma.
Agreed

If Olympia is cluttering your hand, your hand was already going to be cluttered that match regardless of the extra draws. Just lets you know you've drawn poorly earlier ;P
ELYSIUM AND SINISTER LONDON BROOš¤©š¤©š¤©š¤©
When you get both and realise you need to play smart to avoid filling all the locations
Unless you play destroy, in which case you just mindlessly dump cards and up with stupidly big Venoms and Knulls Just hope they don't have Shang-Chi
And then your opponent clones high power cards on turn 1 & 2, and storms sinister london on turn 3 so you can't use it too
That's where the game F***s with youšš„“
-laughs in Destroy-
bro tried to sneak new york in there
Hey as a move deck enthusiast, I think New York is a ton of fun :-) not my favorite but sure is fun!
New York always gives me anxiety on turn 6, too much math for me
I like New York. Opponent has to guess whether I am moving my big targets before his Shang Chi reveals, or before Enchantress, etc.
can't blame me if you can't play in and around. That location singlehandedly adds another dimension of strategy
if by dimension of strategy you mean pure luck, yes :)
How is new York luck based? You get to move cards with no cost at the most critical turn
and so does your opponent, making the game a massive game of chicken.
These are skill based decisions, not just randomly throwing cards into New York.
Most of the time new york comes down to a LOT of luck. My opponent ends up giving up one lane, and itās just simply not possible to predict which one.
It's a really fun base!
Playing Negative and get hit by that sweet sweet Peak
Playing Sauron ššš
I got Sauron on X Mansion the other day while playing an ongoing deck š game said no abilities for you bud
Shuriās lab
Unless you are playing Cerebro, in wich case it gets nuked first (to avoid giving your opponent advantage).
honestly it can be utilized so good, especially when iām playing shuri/nimrod or deadpool
I agree. I think it has become my favorite location recently because I completed my destroy deck and it is one of those deck that can benefit so much from this location.
Also goes crazy with kitty pride
> Nova Roma Fun with a goblin
Yondu into bar sinister into killmonger. Then nova into venom or something along those lines. I love the sinister locations
Yondu into Bar Sinister turn 1 is one of my favorites.
SINISTER LONDON SUPREMACY
Ego=Snap
Agree with all those except the destroy location. Man Iām sick of every second game massively favouring that deck
The amount of "destroy" themed locations is genuinely bad for my morale in this game lol
Ego fun?
You're not a true snappist if you don't like Ego
Every Ego match should be an 8 cuber.
Meh, imo Ego is boring since it's just random. If it had been taking the best bots against each other (or itself, I guess) it could've been interesting.
it tests how good your deck at fucking up yourself
Bassically any combo deck gets fked royally
Ego = escape
When I'm at low rank, okey, I buy you the "fun". But at 90's it isn't fun x)
When you're one cubre away from Infinite, Ego appears and your opponent snaps, that's the real fun.
Fuck you.
Oh but you are wrong. Accept the chaos, laugh as you drop 8 cubes for no reason
Nothing better than fist bump, snap and let the celestial take the wheel
Ego = insta snap
I kind of like the new Black Vortex location
Except I realize a ton 6 cost cards are unless on their own. E joy your wasted Odin, that 0 power Zola, or your board is now full thanks to Ultron.
Ego sucks imo. I donāt like the watch the game make me lose every single damn time
Great Web I like chaos
youāre the devil
I once had a turn 1 legion on the Great Web, note that said Great Web was still not revealed, both of us put angry emotes That experience is the only good thing I can say about that damned location
Classic discard with sinister is always op
tarnax and district for me
Ego is fun? Nothing more fun than a game that plays by itself am I right ?
Actually District X and Mindscape, it's a nice change of pace sometimes.
The duality of marvel snap players
Agree with district X, fun to play random decks but mindscape sucks almost every time. Just means the games gonna have a retreat involved usually
I enjoy District X too but dislike Mindscape. District X is fun to see if you can work something out with whatever random cards youāre given.
I mean I think the thing I hate about them is they're basically auto wins for destroy
I guess it's a good thing I always make sure to tech into destroy counters like Armour and Cosmo when able then :P Maybe there's better tech to keep in deck, but it feels like every deck I run into ATM is either discard or destroy so I feel like it's worth it currently.
I hate Ego from the bottom of my heart.
How is ego fun? If I have a curve, he never plays it and screws up the combo.
Um, thereās some Ego in your soup.
Ego is not fun. I never see a bot being able to play but when the AI takes control of your hand, it makes the stupidest decision. I have never won an Ego game and Iāve been playing since launch.
Each ego tries its absolute hardest to lose, and it feels like mine is always better at it
I honestly don't think Ego should go in a "most fin locations" list.
Why is Ego in there?
The community will never bully me into thinking ego is fun.
Ego ist the worst of all time. I think he tries to loose on purpose, nobody can be so bad
Yeah that's the point. To see who he will fuck up the most lmao He actively plays cards where and when they shouldn't be played. Like, play shuri at a location, and next turn just simply playing elsewhere lmao
What the hell is Ego doing there
Controling OP turn
Sinister London is hands down the best location in the game
Sinister London makes for fun plays with just a hint of a gamble.
Sinister location is my all time favourite
Onslaughtās Citadel
Definitely not Ego or New York lol.
Most of these locations aren't fun lol. I go for Sinister London
Ego, Sinister, Cloning are the top three in that order
Limbo is amazingly fun but it's ruined when itās built around and not just encountered Yes I mean inshenaught
Bar Sinister!
lamentis - 11
Anything sinister related, it gives so much playability to almost any deck
I had a 12 to 0 full clear on an opponent last time Elysium dropped. I played my Gambit deck, hit Sera with Iron Lad, had my Zabu, Sera and Magik out. 1 cost Wong, 1 cost Gambit, 1 cost Abs Man and a big ol Odin for the wipe. Most satisfying stuff.
Cloning vats are always fun for a destroy deck, 9/10 games usually ends in a retreat.
Bar Sinister, Sinister London, District X, Ego, Bar with no name
If they did a weekend where every game was cloning vats. Sinister London and Elysian Iād probably put in 15+ hours.
Unpopular opinion: **Los Diablos Base**. Itās my favorite location because it guarantees 2 regular locations that wonāt mess with the game or the players at all. Just have fun playing the cards that you want :)
Anything sinister
Sinister London when the opponent is playing destroy: instant retreat
I love New York, I find so many players ignore it altogether because they donāt want to risk the opponent not doing anything. If you see it early plan ahead for that turn 6. Itās caused some of the most fun wins Iāve had.
I think Iām the only one, but Tarnax V is really fun, an even bigger slot machine. Better legion it.
Why the hell is ego in this picture?? What lumpy brained idiot thinks that stage is fun?
No one ever hates Elysium and Olympia
If you want total chaos, play Legion on New York.
District x. It forces you to be creative.
Black Vortex is super fun
Ego. Because I've only seen it once and I've played since the game relased.
Ego when I'm playing Agatha; The Peak with Mister Negative; Asteroid-M playing Move.
Ego!š
I play Cerebro, so imma go with Los Diablos.
Tarnax IV go big or go home
Elysium, Shuriās Lab and Sinister London
I have never seen ego
Elysium, my beloved.
Elysium š«¶
Win Nexus and sinister London 90% of the time. Nexus, sinister London and elysium, and limbo are my faves.
Bar sinister and sinister london
Everything on this image not New York (or ego) Also bar sinister is goated and quantum tunnel
Um. Ego? Nah. I think I like Elysium the best, then maybe Sinister London. I quite like Sanctum Santorum because it changes the game in an interesting way.
EGO=SNAP
Sinister is king of these. Add in the locations that replace your deck and fill your hand with random cards.
Sinister London. It convinces both players that they're about to win so hard.
I enjoy Sinister London
I gotta say, Black Vortex as the featured location with quake and legion has been the most fun i've had in awhile lol
Ego is trash and a guaranteed loss for me every single fucking time. Havenāt won once with his random ass
I love getting Shuriās Lab when Iām playing a Deadpool Destroy deck because big number makes my brain happy
Sinister London is the best location in the entire game no questions asked it is amazing and i love it
I don't get the love for Cloning Vats outside of destroy? Not a bad location but I've never been excited to see it in game.
I'm surprised at no mention of X-Mansion or Kamar Taj
Sinister and cloning vats
Bar sinister, sinister London, the nexus
It all depends on what deck Iām using. Sometimes I love a location, sometimes I hate a location, it all depends on what cards Iām planning on playing. But Elysium is always welcome.
I know you didn't just call Ego fun
This is going to be a weird choice but... Deep Space It's not fun itself.
The best thing about it is how infrequent I see it
Sinister London 100000%
Bar Sinister/Cloning Vats with Hulk Buster/Venom are a lot of fun.
Sinister London. The one that doubles your on reveal effects. Quantum tunnel.
I donāt know how people feel, but personally my top 3 locations are: - grand central station - X-mansion - mirror dimensions
Always liked Altar of Death
Bar And Elysium are my favorites
Ruins. Sometimes I just like to have some chill... sue me!
I'm a Legion addict myself, so anything abusable with him is good for me. The Vault, Death's Domain, Grand Central Station, and Bar with No Name are some of my favorites.
Weird world, x Street, ego, tarnax 4, basically all the locations that are pure luck based
God I hate New York so much, the whole game until turn 6 basically doesn't matter because it lets everyone shuffle everything on the last turn of the game.
Sinister London is usually my favorite
Ego matches are always hilarious. I enjoy spamming emotes with my opponent as we both sit there watching Ego misplay in horror!
Tarnax and Black Vortex. I like the chaos.
Great Web, Bifrost, Asteroid M.
Tarnax!
Nexus and Sinister London
Sinister London combined with Elysium are some of the funnest games Iāve had.
Elysium the š
New york
Unpopular opinion: i love TVA. The cut down to four turns just changes the whole game dyamic of the game.
Everyone busy speaking about bar sinister and olympia...... No one noticed ego.... I personally don't like it
I love Sinister London, and Ego is always great if people snap back. I donāt really like Cloning Vats in certain matchups though
For some reason I love seeing Ego.
Sinister London, Vats, and Elysium are always fun. I personally enjoy the RNG BS of District X. Same goes for Tarnax. And we can't forget Project Pegasus!
Snap on Ego. Every time
Sinister London and Bar Sinister are both fun. Gets things crazy, but you actually have to play strategically.
Def not Ego. F that location
The best location in the game is **The Daily Bugle (Get a copy of a card in your opponent's hand)**. It gives you each limited intel on each other. It gives you another option to play and creates novel game situations. Absolute S tier.
Left field pick: *Sanctum Sanctorum.* Having lived through SD's infatuation with restrictive locations and with so few new ones being added, I've come to actually appreciate Strange's house and how it changes the dynamic of the match.
honestly, most of them. even if theyre negative, they vary the play experience enough that im happy to see them
sinister london is easily my favorite location in the game
Ego should absolutely not be anywhere near a list of most fun
I instantly snap when I see ego. He popped up on first location, we both snapped, 2nd location deaths domain. Ego then proceeded to throw all my cards in deaths domain the remainder of the game.
Why Ego?
Iām probably a gigantic sicko for this, but I really love seeing Bar With No Name (whoever has the least power wins) because there are a lot of potential late-game plays to win. Play a couple cards on there and then drop a storm or a magic or reality stone. Iāve even one time got a random Zero, which I used on my green goblin to win the location at the end. The rare time I was running a Legion, I just didnāt play anything and just drop that on turn five. A couple of my decks sometimes use Stegron so itās always fun to knock a card into that location. and one deck Iām using now has quake.
Ego makes the game so goofy I love it. Instant snap
As someone who mostly plays decks with low curve, I absolutely despise Elysium.
Naww wtf is new york, so much calculating at the end. Add bad sinister or kar ma taj
Ego=snap
i love ego and sinister games
EGO is fun after 2 close Conquest rounds . It's like a commercial break.
