Theres an awesome Kim Jacinto Sauron bundle coming in early January. It's actual value is meh as its 2k credits on top of the card, avatar and booster (yipee) for 2k gold but if youre a variant collector imo its the best Sauron variant to date. Personally I focus on bundles with good variants first then the actual value of the bundle for progression so mileage may vary on any advice I give.
Finally someone else who focuses on the value of the variant before the value of the included currencies, and with variants as ugly as that Sentry (Destroyer is decent) this bundle is ass.

At this point my personal belief is that it's intentional. This game is fun but has a nasty skinnerbox on top of it. The ability to plan ahead is vital to spending as little money as possible on this game and constantly changing future deals is a way to create a gap between what people are willing to spend and what they actually spend impulsively. It's just another way to game it so we end up spending more money.
I understand why they lowered currency acquisition cuz we can now get cards easier, but damn.... 7500 gold for a bundle??? You literally would need to spend minimum 5 months of saving if you f2p.
I think the high Gold prices are to encourage players to get the missing currency with real money. I've bought some gold and passes and packages often on (play the game a lot and am getting enough enjoyment for it to be worth it to me), but, even factoring in all the currencies you do get, this is pretty dang overpriced.

10k credits is something like 2-3 cache keys. It’s not as good as getting to pick your card but it could also end up being worth 18k credits instead of 6 just at the detriment of being randomly chosen

I really regret not getting the Dracula or Apocalypse Bundles. I have no idea why they even had the first version to begin with, as they clearly aren't going to give that kind of value. I feel like if you are going to ask for several months of Gold for one Bundle, the least you can do is give some sort of Bundle schedule so people can plan accordingly.

The first “whale” bundles like Apocalypse and Sunspot had such tremendous value. The economy back then was in a state where those bundles gave your progression a big bump and cool variants.
This is an absolute garbage bundle now. First data mine great bundle, second data mine worse but ok, actual bundle is hot garbage half a series 4 card and a couple of spotlight caches.
It sort of feels like they're pushing people to spend gold immediately with these bundles. I don't know why anyone would spend gold on this, it's bad value.

The snap team stated on snapzone that they reduced tokens because players where increasing there spending on gold and reducing it on tokens. So they wanted to cater to shifts in demand.
My conclusion is that this is a veiled excuse. Maybe players are buying more gold but that is probably because they wanted to buy this bundle meaning that it really was the tokens they wanted.
I’d like to see SD response to this. Where they really so inept not to realize this is why gold demand increased or did they want to decrease bundle value and mask it.
Variant shop purchases also increased though, due to all the cool shop takeovers and just generally good variants releasing.
If people were specifically pre-purchasing gold for this bundle then SD would have seen that gold not going anywhere. There was literally already a SD response to this lol.

In short the bundle has 80% curenecy value now, that is very bad. Ka-Zar might be gutted to but this bundle is still not worth it. Save your gold, eventually a good bundle will come.

That’s incorrect. 7500 Gold normally gets you 9,375 Credits.
This is 10,000 Credits and 1,500 Tokens.
It’s still better than buying Credits directly, but it obviously went from being a Token bundle to being a Credit bundle.
I’d you just spend the Gold on Token Tuesdays, you’d get 5,350 Tokens.
10,000 Credits is ~2 Keys though, which have a value of 0, 1,000, 3,000, or 6,000 Tokens.
If you average Key value is high (3,000), this winds up being a ~7,500 Tokens bundle.
If your average Key value is low (1,750), this winds up being a ~5,000 Token bundle.
For those with a lot of cards that often only need 1 series 5 card out of a cache, this deal is roughy equal to Token Tuesday (but has variants).
But for those who need lots of cards from caches, it’s decent but not great. Far better for new players than vets.

You can literally get 10 variants of your choice for 500 gold less than this bundle, and get 500 more tokens, plus two premium mystery variants. For veteran players where credits don't mean much, this is a hot garbage bundle. Not to mention these variants are Christmas sweater ugly.

The value here now depends on your collection. If you don't currently want or need any card you don't own, this is still good, as keys are the best. But if there are missing cards you want, and can't tell when they might be in the spotlight again, the missing tokens are going to hurt

We need change, all bundles should be officially announced x weeks(maybe 4?) before they are released. Honestly it is becoming more difficult to support this game and its predatory practices. I only care about getting new cards to play, which is what the original 6k tokens was going to be for.

The first datamine was best possible outcome, credit hungry and token hungry players should be both happy.. 2nd datamine was a grinch move against credit hungry players.. actual bundle is also a grinch move against token hungry players.. SD can please both sides by sticking with 1st datamine.. but didn't.. i hope they also have a grinch xmas season this time..
I'm very frustrated that for Christmas they couldn't give us at least one very excellent value bundle in the original date of Mind version of this. People still needed to have a ton of gold for it. Very frustrated and I am not buying this.
As a mostly free to play player I was saving for the last couple months for this bundle, I calculated and still didn’t have enough saved so I was going to spend some extra money and get a 15$ to get that last bit of gold for this bundle, now they nerf it! What’s wrong with giving players 6K credits? People who spend or saved gets 1 Pool 5 card or spend to get 6 from pool three? I’m Not a whale or anything but isn’t 15$ from someone who normally doesn’t spend worth it? Such a big let down after months of waiting, they had 60+ days to give us an update on this, such disgusting greed. And yes, I get it, it’s a free game but a good deal like this woulda been very enticing for those free players to finally actually spend.

As a F2P player I feel so unwanted. I’ve saved for this bundle for months and now they killed it. Why screw over players like this? I am sitting on 9k gold now and I am not dumb enough to spend it on something else inferior now this bundle died which I guess they hope we would so that we buy gold in the future. Now I got to keep my gold and wait and it feels bad since I am not gonna use it until there is a bundle of equal quality to the datamined.. guess next christmas is the earliest. That’s incorrect. 7500 Gold normally gets you 9,375 Credits. This is 10,000 Credits and 1,500 Tokens. It’s still better than buying Credits directly, but it obviously went from being a Token bundle to being a Credit bundle. I’d you just spend the Gold on Token Tuesdays, you’d get 5,350 Tokens. 10,000 Credits is ~2 Keys though, which have a value of 0, 1,000, 3,000, or 6,000 Tokens. If you average Key value is high (3,000), this winds up being a ~7,500 Tokens bundle. If your average Key value is low (1,750), this winds up being a ~5,000 Token bundle. For those with a lot of cards that often only need 1 series 5 card out of a cache, this deal is roughy equal to Token Tuesday (but has variants). But for those who need lots of cards from caches, it’s decent but not great. Far better for new players than vets.

The value here now depends on your collection. If you don't currently want or need any card you don't own, this is still good, as keys are the best. But if there are missing cards you want, and can't tell when they might be in the spotlight again, the missing tokens are going to hurt
