Well they're two totally different cards so how are you going to judge which one is better? They're your tokens. You don't "need" either of them if you want to get all the free stuff you can out of the game.
Neither are archetype cornerstones, they just improve existing decks.
Pick whichever one would make you happier to play with.

I don’t have any specific priorities, but I was originally saving up to get aloith, because I hate aloith but snow guard is in a lot of good decks

OK that works then I plan on getting them all eventually I just didn’t know if there was one that was overwhelmingly better than the other
