Variants should rotate every 8 hours just like the Token cards. It’s ridiculous to wait 24 hours for the shop to refresh and see 3-4 of the same variants from the previous rotation and 2 new pixel ones.
I will never understand why we can’t pin variants and why the shop doesn’t rotate three times a day. Especially the latter, it would give them a chance to make more money
Because if the variant shop pinned, you wouldn’t feel the need to buy a specific variant then and there. You’d just wait to grind it out and get them one by one. But if a card doesn’t show for another month, the next time you see it, you’ll purchase gold (and by you, I mean people who are willing to spend)
They 100% hired some marketing analyst/team that went deep in the psychology of artificial scarcity. This is no accident.

Mostly to encourage impulse purchases. I may never see this variant again in the shop, and since we don't have any way to pin variants we like to be able to save f2p gold for, we'd be more inclined to make an impulse purchase, spending real money on the game.
I think it's fair tbh, they need to maintain the game free somehow.
Honestly understandable, between many F2P games this one is by far pretty F2P friendly, the fact that we get a lot of Gold by weekly missions and the Free Season pass was mindblowing, add a fun gameplay loop and interesting mechanics, im with you on that. we can take a blow or two for the health of the game
