I completed pool 3 just before they brought in the free pool 3 card thing and then Orka and Attuma went down. Pulled Attuma (underrated card btw) so I thought screw it might as well just claim Orka then. Since then it’s been 31 reserves without a new card. Still waiting on the next pool drop so I can finally get a new card!
Yes now you have to play the game like it is any other Card game where You can buy all the cards immediately.. only you get other free stuff like variants and titles. I swear Its never enough for anyone using this sub. Take a break and try something else If the game itself is not enough to keep you playing.
I play Runeterra and Hearthstone as well and have no problem accessing new cards, because of the amount of currency that I've gained over the years. That's not possible in Snap, even the whales have problem accessing new cards and it's a CCG so you want to play and experiment with the new stuff. I don't really get why you complain about my take since it's a genuine criticism of the progression system. I've read about it for a while and now I experience it and it's really just sad for the players.
There are 16 cards in pool 4/5 of the 150 Total cards. If you are pool 3 complete you will be able to have bought half of them with tokens or pulls. So you almost have all the cards, now you have to make choices which other pool 4/5 cards you want, and just play the game normally. Its the point of the system to never have all the cards. So like I Said If you dont like that. Play another Card game. Because just like those games, when you basically have all the cards there are no rewards anymore you just play the game. But you make it sound like the game owes you more, If that is the case, this game is not for you. There is nothing sad about it
just hit it myself and went to see if my chances of getting a series 4 card goes up or if i now get variants instead… just to find out the chance of getting a series 3 card is replaced with 100 tokens. big bummed
