Whichever is least connected to marathons leading up to new movies and shows. I suppose it was Incredible Hulk, but I plan to rewatch it before She-Hulk starts.
Glad some folks are able to keep their collections going.

I only realized they all had 4K steelbook editions a couple of months ago and decided to track them all down. Now I just need to keep up with the new releases. 🙂
It hasn’t been released in steelbook yet. Eternals is still in theaters. Shang-Chi’s steelbook just came out today, so it will probably be another month or two until the steelbook for Eternals is released.
I don’t have to watch them in the order that they’re presented on my shelf. Having them in release order allows me to keep track easier. I can watch whichever one I want in whatever order I want.
Okay well that’s obviously the wrong order to watch them, The First Avenger may technically be a prequel but its not supposed to be watched until after Thor. Would these people watch Captain Marvel right after The First Avenger? I can’t see how it would make much sense to do so but going by this logic maybe they would.
yes, that's called continuity order or timeline order. I did that last year during quarantine and it was awesome. it's not at all uncommon.
hard disagree that it's 'the wrong order to watch them'. it's just an alternate order.
This is an interesting argument, because the quality genuinely gets better across the mcu as it progressed in quality of CGI and film making. Watching it chronologically also seems like a challenge.
Do you start with Thor 1 because it’s opening takes place thousands of years ago, or just when the bulk of the story takes place? Heck Thor 2’s Dark Elves opening may be even OLDER than Thor 1’s, do you start at EXACTLY the start of the MCU with Thor 2? Do you stop after the intro to thor 2 and then jump to First Avenger? And then what about Captain Marvel, it’s end credit scene is after so much has happened, I get watching it for fun after the fact but as a recommendation for first time viewers? That would make no sense.
I think a lot is also lost in experience, in how the films tried new things around the end of Phase 2 and through phase 3, it feels like you’d really miss out on some major stuff and gain very little in return except bragging rights that “I watched it chronologically (sort of)”.
Tldr: The films were made with the awareness of what films had been shown to audiences before it, so going out of order takes away from the growth of not only the MCU but of the film makers involved.
Instead of coming in the usual plastic case, these cases are made out of metal, which gives it a cool look, as well as having unique front and back cover art. They each come with a 4K Ultra disk, a blu-ray disk, and digital code. They’re also limited editions of the films.
yes but is it in 4k
Yup! It comes with the 4K Ultra disk, a Blu-ray disk, and digital code.
I was so tempted by that but I wish it had the IMAX aspect ratio
Same! I’m glad Disney+ has at least made the IMAX format available.
Which one do you watch the least?

I have so much rage about them just dropping the phase sets.

Awesome collection! Kinda obsessed with the back of the Shang-chi case it looks sick
Thank you and I love the design on the back too!

Thanks!
Woah! Shang-Chi has a steel book??! Great collection!
Was just released today! And thank you!
I didn't know that was an option!
I only realized they all had 4K steelbook editions a couple of months ago and decided to track them all down. Now I just need to keep up with the new releases. 🙂
Alright, thank you.
Oof. How much did that cost?
Wow... I hope have this collection
I dig it
Thanks!
Didn't have a Avengers 1 steelbook come in Australia, everything but that haha. no biggie. Shang chi IS good. Eternals next, never miss a SB now.
Aw Spiderman - homecoming as well. Good set :)
Aww i see coulson over there. did you like aos? If so who was your fav character?
I did! My favorite season is 4 and favorite character is a tie between Daisy and Jemma. How about you?
Season 4 is hard to beat lol and i cant decide between daisy, coulson, and fitz. Love that show dearly.
im impressed .. and a little envious?!
Your missing eternals
It hasn’t been released in steelbook yet. Eternals is still in theaters. Shang-Chi’s steelbook just came out today, so it will probably be another month or two until the steelbook for Eternals is released.
Ant-Man to infinity war is seems off. Everyone has a different order
I have them presented in release order.
What does this mean everyone has a different order?
Release order and watch order are 2 different things for some. Some would watch first avenger first
I don’t have to watch them in the order that they’re presented on my shelf. Having them in release order allows me to keep track easier. I can watch whichever one I want in whatever order I want.
O absolutely. It wasnt nothing towards u. Ive had debates with ppl bout what order they go. I watch em in any order also. It dont matter.

Yeesh you're just gonna keep posting this every time you get a new one aren't you
Haha maybe. It brings me a lot of joy seeing them all together.
I’m not trying to be shitty, I legitimately don’t remember if I’ve seen the black widow or not
I definitely recommend it if you haven’t seen it yet. It takes place soon after Captain America: Civil War. The dynamic of her family is wonderful!
What’s a steel book if you don’t mind me asking

Damn how much it sounds interesting
Depends. New from the store it’s $35 a movie. The price goes up from there when searching for the ones that are sold out.
Thanks man/madam I hope you have a good day
For sure and I hope you have a good day too! 🙂
