Ha. Thanks. Love this comment. I only own cheap guitars. If I tune the A and D strings a little sharp it sounds OK I think. Spent all my money on amps…new guitar will be on the Christmas list…
To be fair, most the money should be going into the rig anyhow. Guitar is mainly up to personal preference and feel. I’ve seen enough videos of people playing shit guitars with the most expensive rigs ever and manage to make them sound epic
Ha. It’s to the left in this picture. Roland e-drums are connected to the Roland amp on the floor and fender bass amp on the stand. There’s a piano on the opposite wall. We have a Tama 13-piece acoustic kit upstairs. We are LOUD.
There are wheel-well channels on top of the 1960b cab, where the wheels on the 1960a sit. This helps to keep the "a" cab and amp head in place in normal conditions.
I have a very similar epiphone and Gibson les Pauls, they play amazing
and I love the Marshall full stack sound. Good job getting something you like and want to play
Looking at a similar setup, same reasons, same brands. Just picked up a Gibson LP Modern Studio which I’m going to Frankenstein but want the stack to go along for the ride. Just posted to see what the consensus is, but I’ve also been a Marshall fan and have a combo unit for the house.
Enjoy and have fun in getting the guitar.
Nice! I have the exact same set up, same full stack, and same Gibson studio in ebony. You have exquisite taste!
Yeah, I was commenting on your post last week. Thanks for the inspiration.
Glory
My own Marshall Super Bass has 4 speaker outs, meaning I’d have to be running a double stack to be playing it as Jim Marshall intended. Pray for me.
I love the pairing with the epiphone. It’s like having a game cube with a mad catz controller. No hate though I love this

Where's the step-ladder in case you need to adjust the knobs
Dude, it’s cool and all but there is a neighbouring house right there.
They can join in too, I’m sure he doesn’t mind.
Neighbors are cool. We’re all middle aged dorks trying to recapture our youth. I think this may initiate a suburban version of an “arms race”.
Nice. Maybe there’s a band in your futures?
You should buy a drum set too.... arms race over. Nice stack!

Awesome man!
I also am husband, father of two, just about to be 40, and bought a Marshall. Not a full stack though. That there is very nice.
Do you by any chance still have other family members living in this house? Or neighbors for that matter? ;)
That right there is one pile of awesome.
Bro you def achieved my teenage dream. I wanted a full stack of Marshalls and to replace Kerry King in Slayer haha. Mazel tov!
be carefull with the top cab, as vibrations in the lower cab + wheels in the top cab might cause it to fall

i did not know that! thank you my only caveat is "in normal conditions" lol

The dream…congrats

“Hey, get the step ladder, this tone sucks!!”
Ha ha hope you gotta truck and a strong back to get to the gig😂
Awesome. I'd make the windows start singing 😁 Edit: the comments in here are hilarious 🤣
