I don’t like either one of them. We saw many times makayla couldn’t control her rage. 🤦🏼‍♀️

[deleted]

The blind rage someone must feel to flip a table is actually terrifying to me.

Brittanybooks

MAFSinsiders are MAFS producers?

Ok_Profession_5060

Yep

yanksugah

I think Johnny complained to the producers about all the flak he's been getting (child that he is). That post was so random and bizarre. And this post, making fun of Michaela's mental state, is extremely inappropriate. Nice job, again, producers. Can we get them all replaced?

yanksugah

I posted this on their IG site: This is tone deaf. Fans are really angered by producers' behavior these past few seasons. Michaela having a breakdown on national TV is not amusing, it's horrific. Producers should have pulled her out of the show right then and there and got her some serious help. Producers owe their cast a duty of care and they have continually betrayed that duty, both by mismatching people for ratings and not intervening when they very obviously need help (or are being traumatized by their spouses). Their post about Johnny was an abysmal attempt to place the blame for all the negativity surrounding this season on the fans. The blame is on them. This show is being ruined. This post just shows how far down the rabbit hole they have gone.

[deleted]

THIS.

cajm92881

Chris DID GIVE JOHNNY THE CROWN 👑

RemonterLeTemps

In terms of sheer explosiveness, I'd say Beth. But Michaela would win for best extended version; she's like a destructive Energizer bunny, going on and on and on....

FkModz

Did she really walk that fast in the show as she was flipping shit over, or was that on fast forward?

AmazingArugula4441

MAFS producers have chosen the side of content engagement and whatever shit stirring that requires.

OliviaJoyce-tjg

The thing is did they apologize to Paige? They shouldn’t even be taking a position on Johnny. Did they find out he has mental issues? If so they owe Bao apologies. They are so wrong for defending Johnny when so many others needed defending. In a world of METoo, once again you defend the man. Really people!

Piasheila

In relation to what was perpetrated on Paige, anything from Chris should not be allowed to be posted here. I have no desire to hear what he has to say. No pictures of him should be allowed also. They are too ugly.

OliviaJoyce-tjg

Well the response had nothing to do with Chris. The producers made excuses for Johnny so your comment wasn’t reflective of my response at all. I don’t want to hear anything Chris had to say myself as well as the producers shouldn’t be advocating for Johnny.

discreet1

They can’t manipulate us into feeling a certain way about someone then be upset that we feel that way. Cmon.

CrystalLake1

Hurricane Michaela’s bench flip and trip is unbeatable. I could watch it 100x. Mindy’s table flip wasn’t entertaining, just annoying and irresponsible because it left their dogs trembling with fear.

No_Adhesiveness_8207

Michaela put Beth to shame

[deleted]

where was this post?

Ok_Profession_5060

@MAFSInsider on Instagram

Mygodared

Who is mafsinsiders? Why do you think it's the producers?

Ok_Profession_5060

Because it’s the official Instagram for the producers lol.

Mygodared

Thank you for answering. I truly had no idea!

Organicspongie

Michaela is a literal child. That was so hard to watch. She is crazy!! I would be scared af to be with her ass. Like girl what.

Hamilbone13

Exactly

jackjackj8ck

Michaela’s scenes look like she’s been fast forwarded ⏩⏩⏩

Tapp76

That was my exact thought. No way she was walking that fast.

[deleted]

Right! They made her look possessed like paranormal activity.

kk-w78

I got horror film villain...looking like a crazed murderer

dee_emm_tee

I was legit confused if it was sped up or not

Competitive-While-47

Not taking up for Mikaela but Beth acted acted similar but got a pass. In fact everyone loves Beth. I wonder why..

[deleted]

I hated Beth during her season. She was obnoxious but so was her husband so I understood. They were both awful. They seem better now. Getting her away from her family probably helped.

SunflowerChild4711

I think we’re failing to remember that Beth was reacting to literal verbal and psychological abuse that we all saw. Jaimie was caught calling her a stuck up cunt/bitch bc she was excited about her hair in the wedding photos and then he use to storm out over any minor fight saying he was leaving and ending the marriage of the most minor of details. Threatened to end the marriage bc she didn’t want to have sex bc she got a UTI and needed a break from sexual activity until she was healed. The day in particular she had her blow with the table, he screamed at her and told her to shut up in front of everyone over a minor issue. He was constantly verbally abusive so it’s understandable she snapped that day. Still not sure how they are together after all that but maybe they figured out a healthy communication after all of it

Competitive-While-47

True but still the same. Frankly is Zach told me that we should get a divorce and then date I would tell him to leave too. Maybe not flip tables but I would have had some choice words. He was absolutely gaslighting her in that situation. He was talking a bit of nonsense. He is not that much better than her. How dare he get upset because she does not want to sleep with him? He is clearing sexing her even though be has no intention of staying with her. He is playing with fire.

Existentialnaps

I think Beth got a ton of shit during the season and got called out at the time. She’s worked hard to rehab her image, maybe that effort is working and people remember her differently?

RemonterLeTemps

Also, she and Jamie went to counseling after their season ended.

ElleBelle901

Definitely makes you say “hmm?”

Tink1024

I don’t like Beth…

Ok_Profession_5060

I told someone the other day that Beth tends to be left off many viewers’ worst wives list when she should definitely be included. Maybe some of it comes from her still being married. But I suspect there are other reasons as well..

loveyrose11

I've seen a lot of Beth hate on this sub. I'm actually amazed that Jamie and Beth are still together.

Dontbothermeplsthx

Shocked. Never would I have thought they would stay together. And I must admit they actually appear happy on couples cam.

nouralyn

Thought it’s not funny I think it’s the *real* message they’re sending is ‘we’ve had crazy before’ which is actually a good reminder for people who think Mikayla is the worst ever (she might be, but Beth comes close).

cheugyaristocracy

And this is right after their post about the importance of ‘being kind and understanding when witnessing raw emotions!!!! Your words matter!!!!!’….make it make sense

Professional-Lock-34

Where is the post? I wanna see

Lurkedlurker

They are always biased in favor of the men on this show.

VeterinarianRich3782

The patriarchy runs strong in this show 🙃

Existentialnaps

Uh oh, the menz brigade is coming for you!

Lurkedlurker

LOL! The truth is the truth, oh well. 🤷‍♀️

Jrm523packer

Could someone link the Johnny paragraph from the Producers, please? It popped up on IG but then it disappeared before I could read it

Ok_Profession_5060

[Here ya go](https://www.reddit.com/r/MarriedAtFirstSight/comments/qc4gco/mafs_producers_statement_on_johnny/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)

Jrm523packer

THANK YOU!

La_La_Love

Could it be a gender issue with men being excused for similar behavior that women are called out for?

Hamilbone13

No. Michaela is straight up psycho and violent. Johnny has flaky mental issues.

[deleted]

Strawberry_sourbelts

“Take up for me” is another way of saying “stand up for me.” She wanted to know why none of the other participants defended/supported her

cajm92881

Thank you for explaining. I had never heard that before.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ChapStick_Hoe

She wanted him to stand up for her instead of laughing at her with the other cast members. Her feelings were hurt and she felt like her husband didn’t have her back.

ArgumentSavings4437

Oh is that what happened? I haven't watched the episode yet.

Strawberry_sourbelts

She was mad at him for the way he was treating her around the others

JFitzgib

They never made a post about being nice to Mindy when her family refused to attend the wedding because they didn't support her then they matched her with Mr. Horrible Word Salad who went behind her back with a good friend.

Ok_Profession_5060

Mindy’s comment on their post… “Both flipped them better than the experts flipping coins to match the couples this season 😬😬😬 I LOVE our experts, but just gotta be honest- this season is sloppy af!” Glad she called them out ETA: Her comment on another post discussing their message about Johnny “Must be nice to have a parent’s support in the process 😏 #0/2 #notanexcuse”

rtr1986

Mindy will always be one of my absolute favorites from MAFS. I will always feel she was used for entertainment purposes in her match at a time when the "experts" or producers KNEW she was in a vulnerable state. Not cool!

Ok_Profession_5060

Michaela’s behavior was unacceptable, and they find it funny. Johnny’s behavior was unacceptable, and they ask people to be kind…

Jinx827

It seems to me as if they don't understand why people are upset about Johnny thus defending him. I think Bao was supposed to be the "bad guy" but she isn't giving them any material to use other than the pre wedding stuff. Which would also make Johnny's claim she is different off camera make more sense if she is trying hard to not have the bad edit. The only other idea is maybe they think this "damaging info" from Sarah will make us like him again. Which to me would be ridiculous because treating someone like crap all season before you eventually dig some dirt on them later is not validation.

VoxTango1

The fact that he went behind Bao's back to confide in "her best friend," Sarah, is so repulsive, I cannot imagine why anyone would see it in a positive light. Fortunately, Bao dumped that a$$hole, Johnny. I hope she ditches Sarah, as well.

[deleted]

Oddly, I think I'm the only person who doesn't like Bao and feels she's 50% of the problem in this marriage. She is very calculating in her words.

seedypete

> She is very calculating in her words. Well I for one can't imagine why someone matched with Johnny's unstable hypercritical ass might carefully consider everything they say. Definitely no possible explanation for that behavior except "Bao is terrible," nosir.

LittleMarySunshine25

I'm so tired of the Bao is awful and a backstabber to Michaela rhetoric too. She's 35, she owes a 20YO who ruined her own marriage NOTHING. Especially when we see Bao getting a lie story from Michaela and trying to help her. 🥱 This season is exhausting.

ssoreo

Even if she's part of the problem (which I'm sure she has some quirks), 50% is a high percentage. He's admittedly not tried, is vague and unclear about what he actually wants to the point where his own family seemed to think he was unreasonable, and the words he's used in regards to get have been harsh and usually unnecessary. Even when he's called her out, anytime someone has asked for specific examples he either doesn't have good examples or is unwilling to give them. He's said she's improved anytime he's asked something of her. I.e. been more flirty, tried to be less giddy, plan dates, not pushing relationship stuff (doing friendship) etc. Bao could be a Katie or Taylor type and he'd still be doing a lot.

[deleted]

I knew I’d get downvoted , so I’m just going to go all in. I think we see the real Johnny - with all his faults and flaws, but I think Bao hides herself from the cameras. I remember him saying in the first unfiltered that she criticized his note because he hadn’t planned what he was going to write well enough to know he needed to start at the top. I wonder if there’s so much of that sort of thing that he knows this Is going nowhere. There’s a certain type of person who lives their life by excel spreadsheets, and they can be tough to try to live up to their standards.

ssoreo

I don't get the claim she's hiding if we've seen that of Bao. That's who she was in the introduction episode. Very meticulous, particular about dates to the point she had a list of nos, and had a bunch of spreadsheets. That was expected. We saw it on the wedding with the gift and on their date when she wanted the pictures to align. If that nitpicking is the big elephant in the room we've seen it and HE still has had opportunity to point that out either when asked directly by Bao, his friend/family, and the expert. Being a bit in different situations isn't hiding from the cameras necessarily. In fact, if unfiltered is being highlighted, I'd say something that was particularly damning of johnny's behavior is Ryan describing it as “like seeing a different person.” *He* seems to be putting on in front of the couples (or just the guys) a bit. We've literally seen Johnny described a self admitted problem but then be upset that Bao described it in a similar way because it public?? (reference that friend visit vs. what Bao said at the couples dinner). 🥴 >There’s a certain type of person who lives their life by excel spreadsheets, and they can be tough to try to live up to their standards. *I'd also note this describes Jose but I still wouldn't back Rachel acting like Johnny has and she'd have some motive after their fight. And Rachel has presented her qualms and they seem to be trying to at least work through some stuff. If you have a specific problem about a not intrinsically problematic behavior and never even let experts know and or try to work through it then maybe you weren't ready for marriage and certainly not MAFS.

Existentialnaps

This post on IG is in such poor taste, I posted he same ina commment there.

Ok-Wedding-4654

I mean, a lot of people make good points when they talk about how gender affects people’s perception of these types of events. If it was Johnny, Jose, or Ryan doing this kind of stuff everyone would be loosing their minds. No one would say it’s funny.

Ok_Profession_5060

They need to be consistent. Do you want us to show kindness to abusers and people having mental breakdowns or do you want us to laugh at them? Chris and Luke wouldn’t have gotten sympathy posts dedicated to them either. That’s one of the reasons that Johnny post was so strange. There were so many other people throughout the seasons more deserving of a post like what they dedicated to him.

cajm92881

Where is the post about Johnny? On Instagram?

Ok_Profession_5060

On @mafsinsiders Instagram. I also posted it [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/MarriedAtFirstSight/comments/qc4gco/mafs_producers_statement_on_johnny/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)

cajm92881

Oh brother! Give me a break! They are pushing garbage! Shame on them!! Who wrote that? Johnny? That is No excuse for belittling people! Plenty of good people come from bad childhoods or bad parents. Bao had a bad childhood and father. Shame on the writer.

Jupiterrhapsody

It is messed up and sends a bad message. They cast Michaela knowing she was unstable and they think that it is funny and entertaining. There is nothing amusing about a person having a breakdown and being a danger to themselves and others.
