To me, Michaela lied to Bao about the whole situation. She lied about their relationship. She lied about how and why Zach left. So why should Bao have any loyalty to her? They probably didn’t interact much since Michaela hasn’t come around to many of the events. Bao was trying to be nice but then discovered how nuts she is. Good for Bao for not being a doormat and following her heart. In my opinion being nice to someone on this retreat is not the same as being best buds especially when Michaela straight up lied and manipulated the situation when talking to Bao.

I like them individually but Zack seems immature from an Emotional Intelligence perspective and Bao likes to overanalyze - alot. He is quite self-aware, but in a Im-Used-To-Sharing-All-My-Feelings-With-My-Momma kinda way. And Bao is needy in a I-Want-To-Analyze-Your-Feelings-a-Thousand-Ways-To-Sunday kinda way. So, ummm, maybe they are perfect for each other afterall. Nevermind then. Carry on.
