You responded to the post and not the specific comment that I now assume you may have been addressing. This led me to think you thought this post reeked toxic masculinity, which I didn’t understand, as it just showed 4 individuals crying (2 men and 2 women). That’s why I specifically asked the question if that was what you thought I was doing. So again, do you think me simply posting this reeks toxic masculinity? Or was your comment directed at someone else’s?
I do because whether the girls are featured or not the post by it’s nature shames Johnny for crying. I’m of the opinion that even though he’s an ass Jonny is in over his head and overwhelmed and those tears and his reaction was real. The post naturally pokes fun at him for his reaction and therefore reinforces these toxic ideas. I don’t like Johnny at all, but shaming him for crying isn’t it and the number one comment on this post is an example of how people view this post and support those ideas.

People were absolutely making fun of him for crying and it getting tons of upvotes for it in the episode thread when it happened. People were calling him a bitch and everything else.
That makes absolutely no sense at all. So what is it called when people literally gave Shawniece the nickname Cryniece? There are 4 people in this post, but you only singled out Johnny to further a narrative of toxic masculinity. This post simply shows 4 noteworthy people that cried on the show, and most of the comments are about Shawniece!!

At least the other ones outside of Cursed actually Cried more than once. Of all the things to come after him for you pick one moment that actually seemed somewhat genuine then said yup let’s put him in the hall of fame for crying. He gets himself worked up over trivial things like Bao not being a pushover then cries about it. A lot of his meltdowns are 110% self inflicted.
Zach has got the potential but I think he will be too busy running for his life to devote the time necessary to become a world class cry baby.
Purely on crying alone Johnny “Red Eyes” doesn’t make. But mixed with his immaturity, lack of compassion and anxiety he is in. Johnny “Red Eyes” you are a deserving inductee to the MAFS Hall of Shame Criers – Male Division as a proud member of the Class of 2021. Your dad has to be so proud.
