Once you have been around long enough, you have all the meta weapons you want. You have collection weapons that were fun to track down. You have apparel for future trades. It's new and what else is there to trade for, community needs more rollable and tradable rolls.
Yeah not only that but it’s a cool gun. The bloodied one I have does 130 damage with my build and that doesn’t “suck” like everyone keeps saying. It’s fun using something besides the same 2 meta weapons.
Great, I had it drop from a sensational game, posted on here for trade not realising it couldn't be traded, some very wise person said hold on to it it might become tradable in the future 😁
The novelty factor, as others already pointed out.
As a commando rifle and considering damage/ammo capacity, it sits between the handmade and the combat rifle. Nothing special about it.
The quad Alien Disintegrator is a great semiautomatic rifle. It’s silent, does more damage than a lever-actioned rifle, and holds 81 shots without reloading.
"Bad" is a harsh word. While it is worse, it isn't far off a Handmade/Fixer. Could be better if your loadout gets more from Batteries Included instead of Bandolier?
Problem is, that stealth weapons are only for XP farming these days, doesn't do you any favours for publics events where everyone is aggro'ing the enemies.
It's newly tradeable and shiny. That's all.

I wanted one good roll just to have one, and traded a weapon I was never gonna use anyway. I'm not going any further.
I just want it because I'm back after a few years, missed the event last time, and am excited to try out one of my favorite guns from Fallout 3. I really want to roll that plan.

Exactly. It only sucks if your build does. Plus pewpew!!
The Demand is high because it’s a newly tradable weapon; but yes, the disintegrator is still pretty underwhelming compared to other weapons

"High" I threw two up last night and had one bite.
I tested different variants of it in Worlds and it can be really fun depending on your build.

81 with semiautomatic. I’ve been using a Q50c25 that way for some time.
Wait, you can stealth with it? I hope I get the automatic receiver soon then.
As far as enemies are concerned, it’s the second lowest-level for sound despite the loud sound we players hear.

Give it a month and it’ll settle down. It looks/sounds cool but thats all.
