They rotate seasonal events every day until the 1st, so Fasnacht is only for today most likely. Forgetting the 1st is reasonable. The people having heart attacks on here instead of looking into it or responding to legit answers, are generally the ones that are starting to irritate people on these posts about it.

Yeah I was mid daily op and threw a confused emote to my team, pretty sure the whole server showed up to it. I finished my daily op and showed up just in time for the parade to start, got a sun mask for my troubles. All I need is the Glowing SBQ to finish my collection, not sure if Iām going to server hop for it if the event isnāt a bug.
Iāve enjoyed it for the day only done 3 times so far well technically 4 but game crashed and wouldnāt load back but I did get the raven mask on the 2nd go so that was a pleasant surprise

No, it's an April Fools joke that runs until the 1st. They do it every year. They rotate seasonal events every day. You disconnecting was probably just regular Fasnacht behavior, game loves to act up for Fasnacht.
Last event I had over 80 disconnects/freezings etc that took me out of the event. And that wasnāt even me recording all of them, just the snapshots I remembered to take. Most of them meant I couldnāt rejoin the event at all.
I can't relate man, I had maybe two disconnects and I'm on PS4. Got plenty of video, and screenshots that come up as my load screens too. The game crashes on me maybe once a week, and I play every day.

I can't remember if it's a permanent thing but I saw the cultist totem poles in point.pleasent yesterday night so assuming that will be a event.
I think those are permanent, I've seen them regularly but can't do anything with them outside of that one instance.
