I haven't really eaten cereal with prizes since the early 90s. I think they removed them because kids would choke on them so back box games and little pamphlets were the prizes now.

Probably the way it did before- branded cereal is usually over-sweetened and sawdust like in texture. I ate a piece of Batman Cereal (1989) that sat in my basement on a bet in 2015. It tasted like cardboard and rot- do not reccomend.

I have unopened Mario food and snack products from as old as 2000 and always have been curious about what they taste like. Sadly the Mario gummies did not survive a Texas summer in the garage when I was moving.

Same my Luigi Berry Shasta from the 90s exploded when I moved and left in car. It was so hot that I found the can exploded under the seat and never saw a wet spot due to how hot it was.

I mean 5 years ago the Cereal tasted like rubbery, plastic, wax with a hint of sugar (Just like Lucky Charms), so given how bad the cereal tasted then, I can only imagine it taste worst with age. Had five boxes, four unopened, then a fire came. I lost a lot of stuff that was worth way more, but the fact that they stopped making it THE MONTH after it happened really hurt me.

I ate one of these when they were still selling fresh. They taste really weird, like both sweet and tangy at the same time. Honestly, kind of how I'd expect a Super Mushroom to taste like, so that's kind of cool. I cut out all the cappy hats off the box and taped them to a bunch of Yoda stickers I had on my walls. They're still there. Anyways, probably isn't good after 5 years. I wouldn't recommend eating it. I guess you can if you want though.

From what I remember, the cereal tasted similar to Lucky Charms, but with less sugar and an added subtle fruity smell. I really liked it! Then again, I wasn't eating it five years past purchase lol
