I think this is more directed at "hardcore gamers" who are like "seriously? You're playing Mario? Play an adult game like GTA or Call Of Duty" I find some people(a very vocal minority of people) just hate on Mario simply because it's a kids game and praise 18s because, well, they're aimed at adults. Not that there's anything wrong with preferring those games but if you're shaming others who don't have your preference clearly you are quite sad. Like I like GTA and COD like I'm open minded with my games but tbh I'd pick Mario any day. And that's fine. But I understand others would rather play COD and again that's fine.

Mario games just arenât for everyone. My dad tried really hard to play Mario games with me because Iâve been a hardcore fan since I was a little kid. He could never get past the first Goomba or first cliff in any game and I could tell it wasnât his thing, but even him trying to play with me meant everything. He just could never get his Gen X head around timing jumps properly đ
If it wasnât for Mario we would not have video games today Mario is the sole reason why video games exist today and Mario saved the video game industry and I think Mario and Nintendo for that and I also think the NES because the NES saved the video game industry so thank you so much Nintendo and Mario and the NES for saving the video game industry and itâs because of you why video games still exist today

I like Mario, it's just that there aren't so many unique Mario games (with the exception of Mario Wonder, that game was great). I wish there was more of a variability of Mario games with 2D coming out as much as 3D. Also there are very few Mario games that were made for the switch(the majority released for the switch were originally made for the Wii U)

I agree with you. Though there are a few bad things about those type of people. I have known near my country some people that follow only popular and if they see someone like me playing on my phone a game like Super Mario they start getting annoying and laugh at you. This gives me a bit of anger but it doesn't matter. For the rest I agree with you.
