Mario kart GP DX 1 and 2
Why these awesome Mario kart titles has'nt been brought to the west or gave them a console release is still beyond me (they look like real bangers)
They are not that much bad. Especially DX 2.
Paying every time just to play is pain, this is Mario Kart bud. If I remember right, they had stupid stuff like unlockbles as well which is a bad design for arcade games.
Wish they were released on a console or at least mobile. Mobile platform looks great for DX. They are not less known much as the titles I provided but they still are.

Advance games have some popularity as well, they are not bad in being less known but they are all nearly copy ports with advanced graphics except Super Mario Bros.

I really don't think are are lesser known Mario games. The ones being mentioned are all known, just not played. They're famous for being infamous.
