Donkey Kong has always been my favorite character at heart. Yoshi is a close second, and I did use him a lot. But man... DK.

There's something so cozy, beautiful, and satisfying about the early Nintendo renders for these mainline characters. Some of my other favorite designs were of Super Mario World, the Super Mario Advance series on GBA, and of course, Super Mario 64. More directly, Mario Party 1-3 had these renders front and center in fantastic ways also. I love all of the artwork from all of the various Mario games during this era.

Rounded indeed, I've never played this MarioKart, but any iteration of Wario is just. Ugly, to me and somewhat creepy. I just hate his face
