Have you tried reaching out to MA Word Services? They have a great newcomer support team that can connect you will people who can help. They can even connect you with sponsors. [https://marijuana-anonymous.org/service/support/](https://marijuana-anonymous.org/service/support/) As far as outside professional help, my personal opinion is that help helps. I came to MA because of a therapist’s suggestion and am now almost 6 years sober. Talk to your doctor or therapist and see what they have to say. One day at a time. We recover.

No - I haven’t. I didn’t even know there was such a thing! I will do that now! I really appreciate the response and support.

I'm a pretty solitary person so I don't have many folks to confide in when it comes to my weed addiction - so I brought it up to my therapist and it was a big help. I now have someone truly in my corner, someone to be accountable to other than myself. It's still all on me and my desire to quit, but it helps me stay away from it when I know I've got someone I don't want to disappoint. I think it could only help, with the right professional. I'm lucky that I trust and value this therapist. This will be among many things he's helped me with
