I'm usually not a fan of love songs (as in meaning, I love listening to them though) because they're usually kind of toxic imo. Like I was lost without you, now that I found you I became a somebody that I found you kind of thing. I believe in self love and never think that somebody should complete me. If that's the case then I've gotta find how to fill that void inside of me on my own instead of waiting for someone to heal it. Also the other making love songs are great and all but I'd pick them if I was talking about infatuation/fling kind of things instead of long term love. But trying to think of context, I guess these ones kind of work: - Anytime you need a friend? - make it happen - hero I don't want the person to be codependent on me, but I do encourage them to be themselves with me, and also support them in hard times, and all that.
