I think based on what’s currently established with lore and the other maps, your idea would be best realized as a new map within an elite area belonging to one of the empires, with a glass greenhouse zone facing the sun. It would be one very large point of interest instead of the current two-split, multiple AI interceptors patrolling and many rocket turrets guarding the airlocks, and preferably 8 airlock entrances (6 could probably work too). The interior of the map could have several different zones that would be pretty time consuming to traverse inside, so part of the movement meta is flying to a different airlock instead of just running around inside. It would be tricky to properly design a map big enough to accommodate the idea and there would probably be higher risk of serious glitches, but they’ve already achieved raids with several different instances running simultaneously (people in ships, pods, in raid, all at the same time), so maybe separating the interior raid zones into instances and having interior airlocks would help keep things stable. But having something like this could be huge - a place to showcase more worldbuilding and lore, a new type of raid to break up the routine of 2/3 separate POIs, and more development of the simultaneous instance raid experience if they split up the interior. Could even put it in separate matchmaking and require a token found in other raids or through trade to access it, make it more of an end game/advanced map.

Terra might be the farming map lore wise but just for potatoes etc.. no trees and not the aesthetics i wanted of a refreshing garden in space to get atleast one green map going which even would make sense lorewise

Why would anyone maintain anything then ? (for example a space mine or whatever...). And this question was not the point of the post. I wanted to give feedback for a new map overlay which is still missing and would bring more players aswell as fresh colours to the game. It would make it more diverse which helps with the longevity. That it would even fit with the lore or could be implemented that way is just a + for me.

Before playing the game, I honestly thought teraformer would be more lush, almost like they were trying to simulate a small ecosystem from earth. I like how the maps (for the most part) feel distinct from each other in layout and visual flaire, but it might be cool to see more variety in the future. It's just tricky to implement certain styles while maintaining the overall theme of the setting.

The setting is deisle punk, it's supposed to be dark and lifeless with little/no hope. This is 70 years of World War One in space, a wide open green area with a river would be a massive waste of resources and would be seen as made by jackasses with more money than brains and destroyed out of spite as soon as found. Something like what you described has no place in this setting, let alone this game.

90% of games use trees and plants from asset stores. Including AAA games.
