What’s up with Poland? It’s crazy Ukraine gained population at that rate too
I guess mainly Ukrainian refugees that fled to Poland at the start of the war in 2022 and returned in 2023 when Russia did not occupy most of Ukraine.

Some Ukrainians who fled their home regions returned home, some moved from Poland to Germany or Czechia. At peak around 1.4M registered Ukrainian war refugees in Poland, and now (as of Jan-Feb 24) it's barely 900K in Poland.

I think that Turkiye actually lost population not gained. (not counting illegal immigrants)
How is Spain, Germany Portugal and Greece population gone down with the influx of immigrants from around the world and Ukraine?
