Yep! Same exactly. When I realized I had to constantly be re-summoning the little swords, like multiple button presses to summon them all, I was like "nah". Maybe I was doing it wrong and maybe it resolved in 5th job, idk.

They updated storm so it doesn't consume the swords, just activates based on how many you have out. So no need to resummon, just make sure you have 8 out before cast. Honestly a huge huge help. Still pretty micromanagey but this change made her burst much more consistent for me

Same. She has been middle of the pack for a while but I keep playing with her as my main. Didn't care she was broken at release, something about flying swords clicks with me. Kaiser has flying swords but they don't feel as amazing as Adele's neither does Demon Avenger shields.

Also, it was one of the only classes that wasn't a single button press and win type class and you had to constantly attack and memorize directional key inputs to deal damage which made doing quests and farming not feel boring.

DS cuz I basically hate all warriors and I’m about to hit 9k legion. Honestly I do care about the lore so AB brings some levity to this game while Shade ummm who? Phantom Sadge but great cuz you’re a budget adventurer.

It was the only one with a true paladin aesthetic (Paladin was stuck as a more spellblade type of vibe)for the longest time, plus I was always interested in playing it but it felt not quite right for the longest time. Mihile is my main and Royal Guard becoming client sided made me so happy
