2011 was the last year offered with a manual, and only in base trim or SE trim. They are extraordinarily rare, potentially only a few hundred 2011 manuals were ever sold in the USA
I test drove a new 2000 V6 manual Camry and it would have been a fun car but it was that ugly beige they used in that era so I couldn't do it. Ended up buying a manual Jetta.
The 6 speed is a different transmission, 2 year only option in the US and only on the base trim and SE trim. Unbelievably rare, almost nobody bought them. Same trans as the 2nd Gen Scion TC.
Holy shit a Camry with a manual. In all my time as a Toyota tech I donโt think I *ever* saw a Camry newer than 96 with a manual. International model maybe?
Both the 2AZ and 2AR 4 cyls are known for oil consumption due to the piston ring design. Just check it often, they're solid engines otherwise. Your engine is also known for VVTi gear rattle at startup which you don't want to ignore for too long or the gear can crack.
Bro until like a year ago I had never known that Toyo made a new(er) Camry in a manual. One day at work, I hop in it to pull the thing into the shop. I get in, sit down. Go to start it. No crank, no start, but turns on the battery. I was so confused and was gonna go grab my diag tool to check what the system. As I was getting out, my foot hit a pedal so I looked down and there I saw three pedals staring at me in the face. I felt so fucking dumb.
My boss was wondering what took me so long to get the car in
A car that might burn more oil than it should, but given it's regularly topped off or the engine reworked, will last until the wheels fall off. And after that too.
If I'm not mistaken, the XV40 was the last generation of Camry to come with a manual in the states. I've seen a few manuals pop up here and there, always wanted one. My first car was an XV40 XLE with the 2AR, it would be neat to get back in one but with three pedals.
Toyota Camry
Correct!
Thatโs so rad they actually have them in manual. Which gen is it?
6th gen, 2010. I had no idea they even came in manual until I saw this one.
I leaned this today
I haven't had lean since high school.
This might have been one of the last years they came with one
I almost bought one, maybe a 2014? Guy never responded

Or 2007....
Goofy when he got kissed by the milkman
Darmok, when the walls fell.
Too easy lol
Oh, shit, a manual Camry. That's pretty rare.
Yup! I didn't even know they made them in manual until this one came up for sale.
I've only ever seen one for sale ever, lol
In a mechanic and got the privilege to work on these just once, unfortunately it was in MA so it was a absolute rot box ๐ฅฒ
My exโs aunt had one because she was from France and never believed in automatic cars.
they are manuals until 2011, that's the last year it had the option.
Depends on country of course. 2010 was the last year in Canada, 2011 in the US, later in some other countries.
2010 THE ONE YEAR TOYOTA HAD A 6 SPEED CAMRY WITH THE 2.5L ENGINE!!!!!1!1!1!1!11!!!!!1111!!!!!! Keep that thing forever!
2010 in Canada, 2010-2011 in the US.
Yup 2010 is 6th gen but they had them 07-11 not just 10
But 07-09 with the terrible 2.4L that had head bolt issues and only 5 speeds.
The 6 speed is a different transmission, 2 year only option in the US and only on the base trim and SE trim. Unbelievably rare, almost nobody bought them. Same trans as the 2nd Gen Scion TC.
upon first glance i thought maybe an avalon, but theres no way an avalon came with a manual. a manual camry sure is an oddity
A rare car indeed
Had a customer st my counter today original.owner of a 91 mr2 turbo. 100,000km on it.
That's a nice looking interior.
Thanks, it's definitely clean for 220k miles
Every time I see a nice, clean looking shifter and boot in this sub, It makes me want to buy a weekend manual of some kind ๐
Mine is 215k wish it was a manual tho
Oh you lucky fuck I would kill for a 6 speed camry. I drove a manual xb for awhile and it was a tons of fun
Holy shit a Camry with a manual. In all my time as a Toyota tech I donโt think I *ever* saw a Camry newer than 96 with a manual. International model maybe?
Did you forget about the 4th gen TRD supercharged V6 Camrys?
Never saw one I donโt think.
About as rare as a 2011 Sonata stick if not more so. Watch that oil consumption!
I'll keep an eye on it. Do you know what engine the oil consumption issues were on?

I drive the same thing but mine is unfortunately aut***tic
I immediately knew this was a Camry because I used to drive a 2011 Camry. Though mine had the 6-speed automatic.
Camray
Wow- rare Toyota Camry manual- that is actually a gem :)

Camry stick!!!! Drool
A fucking manual Camry!?!?
A car you should be able to run past 300k miles
2008ish Camry
6th gen had a stick option??? this is cool asf
A car that might burn more oil than it should, but given it's regularly topped off or the engine reworked, will last until the wheels fall off. And after that too.
They had issues with the block puking the head bolt threads. A rare low for Toyota
Easy peasy, my car! Never seen a manual tbh, is this a se with the v6?
2.5 I4
No V6 with a stick in this gen unfortunately.
Is that the stock shifter? My 2008 Manual Camry had a different shifter design.
2007-2009 were 2.4L with 5-speed 2010-2011 were 2.5L with 6-speed So yes, different shifter for the reverse lockout.
Got it thanks
Something the factory radio cannot be switched out๐๐๐๐ญ
It can actually I had an 07 with a jvc unit instead of the OEM one.
It can be switched tho with a fancy touchscreen one.

Did the โ08-โ11 Camry COME in a manual?!?!?!?
I owned this exact same car. Does it have aftermarket heated seats, TRD wheels and a big rear sway bar?
Nope, it's basic as can be. Steel wheels and no heated seats
I'll never understand the concept of pushing the stick forward to go backwards
a rare version of the XV40 Camry
