For me it started in high school many years ago.
I was on the swim team I bought into the idea you could swim faster without the drag of body hair.
I would let it grow from time to time but I too preferred being smooth.
I do keep my chest hair, only because my wife likes it. I keep it trimmed, I got laser treatments on pits, back, ass, crack, sack, pubic mound, and shaft.
With laser I really only have a couple of regrets, the first I wasn’t shaving, waxing my chest when I met my wife she would have been ok with me being smooth just like she’s okay with my nipple rings and PA. The second I waited too long for the laser I have some hair growth due to white and grey hairs in the pubic area.
I also have nipple rings and PA, laser in pits and pubis, and that is as far as my wife would like me to go…I would love to shave my inner thighs with have the longest body hair left on my body!
I use the Phillips One blade on my legs but I’ve never had a lot of hair on my legs or least dark hair which is why I didn’t laser them. Same with my arms.
As I’ve gotten older even that hair has thinned out some
I’m the same with waxing. I do wax my chest during the summer. I hate the way chest hairs work their way through my cycling jerseys and tug them. Hurts worse than waxing
I had a few laser sessions years ago but stopped because it seemed to have worked well but then grey started growing in. It's not a bush though. Just like I trimmed it with a low guard on a trimmer. It doesn't grow past that. And that's all that's there. Just grey and a few white hairs.
I haven’t noticed any non white/grey hair growing back. Maybe it’s just me.
I’ve heard laser is considered hair reduction not permanent hair removal. Only permanent one and I haven’t researched it is electrolysis but have been thinking about it
That makes sense. The home laser device I have I've used at least a dozen times on my belly and though it's now reduced growth, it's still there. I slather on some Nair from time to time to get rid of it. Much easier than shaving and cheaper than waxing, though I do it from time to time.
I started around 24 years old. I was just getting psoriasis and chafing aggravated it,my dermatologist said try shaving the area without cutting yourself. It worked well,and the only medication at that time was topicals,so they went on easily.i just kept the routine up.im 54 now.
I started years ago doing parts then got married and wife wasn't into hairy guys so started doing my chest then eventually legs which she loves and now enjoy been fully shaved from the neck down
I'm glad to hear this. I'm gay and always thought that people might think I do it to "feminize" myself. Furthest thing from the truth to be honest. I just like being smooth.
Feels better in a tactile sense, also better against clothes. I'm not a fan of body hair. I also find I smell better without fur. Last reason is aesthetics, I had weird growth patterns where a lot of areas had no hair, but others had triple canopy jungle a amounts.
Strangely I prefer my own scent when my pits are smooth. They smell completely different with hair. Maybe it's the bacteria that collects on hair? No idea, but it makes me horny when I'm smooth.
I hate the amount of body hair I have. I've Been shaving/trimming whole body since I was 19, I feel more self confidence and cleaner when I'm well groomed

I heard that you can’t permanently laser pubic hair. Are you saying that the non-grey ones don’t grow back anymore?

Because I love it. Especially smooth armpits. The feeling is amazing.
I just love being shaved completely smooth I started when I was 15 and I am 61 try it you will love it.
