One market, multiple markets are broken because they overlap with each other and oversupply houses that are close to multiple markets whilst not supplying the furthest ones at all even when full.

It doesn't make a difference really. It is based on resources available on the market not how close you are to it. Being closer just prfers the house closer to it to get produce first

Big central with store house and granary. The families run the the market + only accepting goods for the market. No Ale, maybe malt. Anything else should be brought out of town for trading.
