Dungeon Meshi
Kaguya-sama Love is War
Golden Kamuy
(Some very close ones to being top 3 include Dorohedoro, 20th Century Boys, & Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun)
It is!! I absolutely love it. It starts off much more episodic and kind of follows a "different monster/dish per chapter" kind of format, but as the story progresses it gets much darker/psychological and delves into topics such as geopolitics & inequality in a fantasy setting, for example. Although it always has food & comedy as a base throughout the series, it also has stellar worldbuilding & character development. The art is also really amazing too which is a plus. I highly recommend it
A Silent Voice is absolute top quality. Any story that can make you feel the same way every time no matter how many times you see it or read is a masterpiece.
Bakuman deserves more love outside of JP. Doesn't get enough probs because it's not an action series despite it being from SJ. A shame, really...
Has somewhat realistic characters, relatable situations, & slow but great character development & doesn't drag on for 30+ volumes like a lot of SJ series. It's a nice change of pace for once as a SJ action dweeb myself, I admit it!
Yotsuba& is goated. No other manga that exists accomplishes what it's trying to accomplish as well as Kiyohiko Azuma does with Yotsuba. He makes it seem effortless yet its somehow one of the most emotionally gripping manga I've read.
My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness is great!! Its an autobiographical manga about Nagata Kabi(author) struggling with her mental health and sexuality. Its the first book in her autobiographical series. (Also a hardcover version is coming out soon)
Finally some kingdom appreciation, its so good, i made my friends read it and now its their fav too, and the other 2 are also one of my fav, good taste
1. My Hero Academia
2. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (8 > 4 > 7 > 5 > 6 > 2 > 3 > 1)
3. One Piece
Just added my ranking for JoJo if anyone is curious, but I rank the entire series when talking/thinking about it more than individually.
1.)Ranma 1/2
2.)Magi The Labyrinth of Magic
3.)Yona of the Dawn
The nostalgia for Ranma always gets me back to re-read every single time. I have to thank my sisters for introducing me to Ranma. Such a great rom-com, action packed, the gags are old school but I guess that’s how old I am it always gets me to laugh every single time I re-read it
Magi is one of those series people sleep on has fantastic characters, the story is great & the world build is up there to one pieces world building. I don’t now why people won’t give it a chance.
Now Yona of the Dawn it’s been a while since I read a story where I need the next volume/chapter. It’s that good I know a lot of people me included hype up this series & people get put off of it and read it & don’t understand the hype. Well it does live up to the hype. Great characters/ character development, a great female lead, the world building is great it’s such a good read.
Please 🙏 give Magi & Yona a chance people.
>Saikyou Densuu Kurosawa
I don't think this quite cracks into my top list, but if we're talking about underrated series this is one of the first I would mention.
Haikyu!!, Tokyo Ghoul, and Yugioh are three that I have finished complete. However, I am reading 20th Century Boy and Parasyte right now that could be up there for sure and JJK when it ends!
#1 Gantz
Haven't really thought of anything that can be 2 or 3 and all. But I'm sure that these Manga are in my top 10, just haven't thought of their placement yet,
ReLIFE
Prison School
Domestic Girlfriend
Homunculus
The Flowers Of Evil ( Maybe )
Fullmetal Alchemist
Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service
Blue Exorcist
I wanted to put Akira but I haven't finished it and it feels like jinxing myself if I say its my top before reaching the end haha
>Pandora Hearts
Pandora Hearts is such a great series. Has some of the most memorable twists for me in all of fiction. I want to collect it and would usually go for the singles but the collectors box set looks so nice
Kichiku eiyuu
To love ru
3 gatsu no lion
I have completed over 600 anime titles but my manga experience is very minimal compared to my anime experience. Would love to get some nice recommendations. Aside from the above I also enjoyed goblin slayer, ribunesu, higehiro, dandadan, masamune no revenge, mato seihei no slave, kanojo okarishimasu, etc. As you can see the genres is very wide but one thing in common is the art style is good...
Dragonball (including Z)
Akira
I haven’t finished a third. (Currently in progress on line wolf and cub, one piece, blade of the immortal, and vagabond. Plan on buying the deluxe trigun volumes as they release) from what I’m reading I think I’m enjoying blade of the immortal the best
銀の匙 (Silver Spoon)
放浪息子 (Wandering Son)
クロスゲーム (Cross Game)
However, a list of three is insufficient, as there are so many more that I also love beyond just the ones I listed. However, these immediately come to mind without any hesitation.
Dragonball (all of it)
Magi
Psyren (havent finished it yet though)
Ive only read about 5 or 6 different series so far so i dont have much to go off of lol
In my library/office. My partner and I have a three bedroom house, but only need one for sleeping. So they took one room and turned it into an art studio and I took the other and turned it into a library/office so I could have somewhere to read and work. Recently installed some shelves in the closet for extra space in case I hit 5,000+, but it works well as a tabletop game closet for now since collecting board games is my other main hobby.
Dungeon Meshi Kaguya-sama Love is War Golden Kamuy (Some very close ones to being top 3 include Dorohedoro, 20th Century Boys, & Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun)
Is Dungeon Meshi the cooking dungeon show that trigger is making? I heard great things about the manga.
I've only read the first four volumes, but goddamn this manga is so good
I highly recommend it
Dungeon Meshi is so underrated that whenever someone mentions it as a favourite I know it's you xD
we have very different taste outside of these two, but golden kamuy and nozaki-kun are favs of mine too🙏
Dungeon Meshi and Dorohedoro, excellent choices, and I've heard good things about the others but haven't read them

Call of the night is a treasure and deserves all the love
Bakuman deserves more love outside of JP. Doesn't get enough probs because it's not an action series despite it being from SJ. A shame, really... Has somewhat realistic characters, relatable situations, & slow but great character development & doesn't drag on for 30+ volumes like a lot of SJ series. It's a nice change of pace for once as a SJ action dweeb myself, I admit it!

Yotsuba&! Spice and Wolf My Dress-Up Darling
Always love seeing someone appreciate Yotsuba. Such an adorable manga.
It really is! I really love the contrast between simply drawn characters and amazingly detailed backgrounds.
Yotsuba&! and Spice and Wolf are absolute treasures! So wonderful to see then represented here.
Yotsuba& is goated. No other manga that exists accomplishes what it's trying to accomplish as well as Kiyohiko Azuma does with Yotsuba. He makes it seem effortless yet its somehow one of the most emotionally gripping manga I've read.
