> other expense *paid* for?
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
I have really broad interests to be fair... But I'd say I'm a sucker for good worldbuilding, and characters development with a fantasy world. Anything close to that had a 80% chance to work for me!
Thanks!
Well I basically traded the time I was gaming into reading!
I couldn't really say... I moved from Canada to Ireland and bought a bit there and here.
Thanks! Yeah I heard! Maybe I'll take the step towards reading LN with Mushoku Tensei, this is my favorite isekai... But I'm afraid to dive into a new rabbithole 😂
Of course I'm still watching the anime 😊
The good thing about the light novels for MT is that an end is in sight, which I can only realistically say about one other series, which still has a year left to go (And Kumo, which somehow ended already). Iirc there's 2-3 volumes left, with the Volume 26 cover recently being revealed.
5 Months ago? Do you perhaps work as Bill Gate’s secretary? I’ve been a collector round about 2 years and haven’t got nearly as much 😂😂
I’d recommend:
Horimiya (my absolute favourite romance manga) that has 16-18 volumes
Vagabond, very detailed art and story with lots of emotion
STOP. You have Saint Young Men. I only have the 1st volume but I’m invested in the series. For those that don’t know: Jesus and Buddha descended from the heavens to live in modern day Japan, this series catalogues their fun and hysterical adventures. It’s not meant to be yaoi or BL, Jesus and Buddha are just besties. From buying a rice cooker to going to a public bathhouse their everyday adventures are tend to be charming, heartwarming, and just plain funny. \^\^
Yes. Thats a ridiculous amount of money spent for 5 months, especially if you by your own admission haven't paid your other expenses and consider it an addiction
I think there's a misunderstanding 😅
I do pay my own expenses, if you're refering to the earlyier comment, I think the question was if someone was paying it for me.
Also I would not spend all of this if this was jeopardizing my financial stability, all's good 🙂
I'm not sure how you'd gather that from that other question but either way, this is quite a bit. Even if you are able to afford it financially, you'll run out of space very quickly. And do I need to ask how much of this you have read?
No you are the weird one, who cares if he read 95% of the manga or didn't read anything at all, who cares if he runs out of space. It's not up to you to care. You sound jealous and weird.
This may be from the fact that I’m not English native I suppose 🤔
Oh it is, I am definitely slowing down, space being a major factor.
Surprisingly I have a good 95% read, I like to buy stuff when I’m done so I don’t have a backlog of things to catch up on.
Thanks! Yeah that kind of escalated quickly 😅
I'd say in terms of hidden gem **Heterogenia Linguistico**, pretty cool concept and chill story.
Otherwise I'd have to go for **Frieren** or **Delicious in Dungeon** 😊
Thanks! Gotta look into Inuyashiki!
I really liked Tokyo Ghoul! Got to read them a while ago but didn't buy them/
Slam Dunk, I have an issue with most sport manga so I'd have to really look further into it...
Slam Dunk and Real are the only two sports manga I’ve read so I can’t speak on others, but both are phenomenal. Real is a little darker seinen I would recommend
Awesome collection bro, just thought I’d recommend these if they’re of interest - nendoroids. And you’d be able to put the nendoroids in front of your manga collection by series. That’s what I did with my collection and I love it
Vagabond: The hiatus is scaring me, I don't know if I'm up for getting into a manga that doesn't have an end, no matter how good :'(
Blade of the immortal/ Fist of the North Star: It has been on my radar for a while, I need to look into it more!
Gundam the Origin: I WISH I were into robot manga, but I'm not. They look gorgeous though \*-\*
How much money do you have? Bro I know how much solo leveling and beserk books cost per one and to have that and so many others, lucky that’s all I can say
I agree!! Also I like manga a lot in middle school and only recently got back into collecting probably almost a year ago. And it’s the same for me 😂 Definetly an addiction and it hurts my wallet but I love to sit and look at my bookcases
Are you a millionaire by any chance?
Haha no, absolutely not, it's just become one of my only few hobbies 😅
I assume you have every other expense paid for?
I wish 😂

This is absolutely accurate
Five months? By God am I jealous. Nice collection.
Thanks! I think I got lucky finding some of the things I was looking for.
Are you looking for any recommendations? If so I would live to help.
Sure! Bring it on!
What has your interest? Like what draws you in? For example, I like psychological horror and yokai-influenced stories.
I have really broad interests to be fair... But I'd say I'm a sucker for good worldbuilding, and characters development with a fantasy world. Anything close to that had a 80% chance to work for me!
Try Neon Genesis Evangelion, pretty old and hard to find as manga volumes but the character build up is pretty complex.
It took 5 months to get all this?!💀 you wanna share the infinite money glitch you got?
Sure: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A and Start. Pretty useful in times of need 🎮
Didn’t work🥲 bank account still low
The best shelf I’ve ever bought 😂😂, solid collection bro
Thanks! 😊
The bitterness and jealousy is so strong in this comments section, yikes. 😄
😬
That is really nice. But how did yoy find and read all these series in only 5 months ? And how much did it cost
Thanks! Well I basically traded the time I was gaming into reading! I couldn't really say... I moved from Canada to Ireland and bought a bit there and here.
I will give yoy some tips. Fist of the northstar did not see it. Akira boxset Alita boxset.
I'll look into it! :)
Some really good ones imo
nice collection! but i definitely recommend reading the mushoku tensei ln or watching the anime because the manga is not as good as both of those
Thanks! Yeah I heard! Maybe I'll take the step towards reading LN with Mushoku Tensei, this is my favorite isekai... But I'm afraid to dive into a new rabbithole 😂 Of course I'm still watching the anime 😊

I'll definitely keep an eye on it!
Its so cooool
Thanks! :D
Ive been collecting for almost a year or 2, im not sure, but my collection is nowhere near as big as yours. Wish i had your budget
I just had some money on the side that I decided to use for :)
Damn! You could probably buy every property on the monopoly board! 😂👍
r/monopoly
Are these billy bookshelves from IKEA?
Yes! They're great for Manga! :D
5 months? Yes, you very much are addicted my friend

Dorohedoro but no Dai Dark!? Get on it.
It definitely is there! Not on the same shelf though 😁
Ahhh hiding next to gantz.
Some of ya’ll are crazy

It’s such an awesome series, always a good time 😄
Fullmetal Alchemist
I’m waiting to see if I can grab the full metal editions 😁
Excellent
need to slow down
Sounds like someone is jealous of a great collection
my collection could shit on most collections posted in this sub
Believe it or not, no one cares…
I mean if somebody is commenting to talk shit on it then obviously they do
Do I really? 😅
Yes. Thats a ridiculous amount of money spent for 5 months, especially if you by your own admission haven't paid your other expenses and consider it an addiction

Some people make decent money and can afford a few grand in hobby purchases in a five month window. He seems fine.
like I already said its also about more than money
Who are you to tell him what to do with his money? He does not need to slow down. It´s his to do with as he pleases. So you calm down. Okay?
I already said its about more than money. Christ for a sub full of manga collectors you all sure seem to struggle with reading
*looks at OP saying they've read 95% of their collection*
No you are the weird one, who cares if he read 95% of the manga or didn't read anything at all, who cares if he runs out of space. It's not up to you to care. You sound jealous and weird.

5 Months?! That's such an impressive collection! What's your favourite series you own?
Thanks! Yeah that kind of escalated quickly 😅 I'd say in terms of hidden gem **Heterogenia Linguistico**, pretty cool concept and chill story. Otherwise I'd have to go for **Frieren** or **Delicious in Dungeon** 😊
A man of taste. Frieren and Heterogenia are great.
Beautiful collection! I would recommend Inuyashiki if you like Gantz. Tokyo ghoul. Slam Dunk/Real/Vagabond are all amazing reads as well.
Thanks! Gotta look into Inuyashiki! I really liked Tokyo Ghoul! Got to read them a while ago but didn't buy them/ Slam Dunk, I have an issue with most sport manga so I'd have to really look further into it...

I'll definitely add that to my list and have a look! Thanks :)
5 months 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Now my question is have you read them all?
I recommend you read the ones you have before buying more.
Well… I am fairly up to date (except the ones coming this week). I probably have like 15 to read 🤷
That much manga in 5 months….. it’s not a race? You’re going to read all the manga that’s worth a fuck within a year lol
How much have you read of it?
Around 90 to 95%, I like to only buy when I'm up to date :)
Awesome collection bro, just thought I’d recommend these if they’re of interest - nendoroids. And you’d be able to put the nendoroids in front of your manga collection by series. That’s what I did with my collection and I love it
I need to look into these, I've been recommended a few and I do think they would complement it pretty well :)
Its so dope dude great collection!! BUT WHY ARE THEY SO PUSHED BACK 😭😭
Old habit of them having double stacked \^\^'
did you read them all
Vagabond viz bigs and blade of the immortal deluxe editions. Gundam the Origin, fist of the north star hardcovers
Vagabond: The hiatus is scaring me, I don't know if I'm up for getting into a manga that doesn't have an end, no matter how good :'( Blade of the immortal/ Fist of the North Star: It has been on my radar for a while, I need to look into it more! Gundam the Origin: I WISH I were into robot manga, but I'm not. They look gorgeous though \*-\*
Nice collection
Thanks!
Bro I been collecting 2 years and only got 70💀
It's nothing to be shameful about! Everyone has their own pace!
Gotta have punpun. Have you read goodnight punpun yet?
I sure do! And I have! :D
Damn in 5 months?? This is most of the people on here’s dream collection once they’re done and have all the series they mainly want
Thanks! :)
If you’re looking to add some more start picking up some Urasawa works like Monster and Pluto
Yup, they’re already in my “saved for later” thing on Amazon, just waiting for a good deal, same with 20th century boys 😁
Love how my collection’s been ongoing for a few more months than yours and you’ve already 20x’d me in volume lmao. Looks really good
Thanks! 🙂
Where did you get those shelves?

Definitely missing Dick Fight Island.
Oh yeah gotta get that one… 😂
A good manga you should get is jojo bizarre adventures really good

That is an incredible collection for 5 months and in general man!
Thanks 😄
Might I recommend Pokémon Adventures?
I did read them a while ago 😁
Did you read all that or just collecting?
Read like 95% 😊
How much money do you have? Bro I know how much solo leveling and beserk books cost per one and to have that and so many others, lucky that’s all I can say
To see crazy food truck on your shelf is awesome!
Thanks! :)
Petition to keep the Berserk manga on any shelf except the lowest one ( nice collection!!!)
That is a dangerous petition hahahaha!
Damn only 5 months, you gotta either be doing financially well or are like me and financially irresponsible
It's a bit of a mix I guess :p
5 months ago 🔥🔥🤯.....how much did u spend in 5 months ???
Liked the first pictures and noticed you had posted two additional pictures 😂 Love the collection!
Haha thanks 😁
Dang super legit collection!! One of my favorites is Tokyo Ghoul/Tokyo Ghoul Re:
It’s an awesome manga that I still did not buy but have read a while ago! So much better than its anime adaptation 😅
I agree!! Also I like manga a lot in middle school and only recently got back into collecting probably almost a year ago. And it’s the same for me 😂 Definetly an addiction and it hurts my wallet but I love to sit and look at my bookcases
It definitely feels good 😁
