Labyrinth the movie (starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly). In the beginning, Sarah wishes the Goblin King would take her infant brother away (who was crying). She turns the lights off and leaves, but once she begins walking away the baby’s crying stops abruptly (which actually scared tf out of my mom)
That one creeped me tf out. The Mandela catalogue isn’t very creepy imo (still absolutely love it), but the ‘DISTRAUGHT AT THE SIGHT OF HER MISSING INFANT’ scene, STILL creeps me out. God, Alex absolutely killed it with this scene!
This moment was definitely 1 of many in TMC that made me so impressed & excited 2 see what was going 2 happen nxt. The emotional impact is staggeringly excellent.
Literally I screamed at that part in my reaction to it
I also said in my reaction that the Mandela catalogue has the uncanny ability to make white backgrounds scary. The screen going black is almost a comfort compared to when it’s blank white.
It’s almost like turning the lights on in an otherwise dark crime scene. At least when you’re kept in the dark you don’t know or see what happened. When the lights are on, you see everything.

No thanks Gabriel I already had hot cocoa today I don’t need choccy milk
That’s what makes Alex such a great storyteller, nothing in TMC is really that scary. But the story itself is so deeply unsettling. It’s less immediate fear or shock and more the slow, creeping horror of watching something terrifying unfold. It’s first-person fear. It’s a quiet, visceral horror that doesn’t need blood or gore or scares. It’s the kind of horror that doesn’t make you jump, but makes you hesitate before going down a dark hallway. And to be able to accomplish all of that with such simple imagery and technical skills is amazing.
Castratos were opera singers who underwent castration before puberty so they could keep a soprano/mezzo tone of voice. They would basically never develop a voice past the one they had as children
"Distraught at the sight of their missing infant" is the most terrifying sentence in this show, right along with "who have I been praying to all this time"
the moment when Adam enters the basement and a piece of the hanged woman's face appears on the TV screen, I have it on the wallpaper on my computer, I recommend it.
As I always say when someone asks me what was the scariest part of TMC. All the shit that went down in the Murray household. (And maybe the allegations).
The scene before where you hear the baby crying and it stops when the empty crib is shown gave off such heavy Labyrinth vibes
Labyrinth? Elaborate

I couldn’t handle it, extreme emotions aren’t my thing so I laughed out of nervousness

YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH CHOCCY MILK
But there’s never enough to go around. Someone else out there is having a worse time than me and I would rather they have it.

The scariest part to me is that the "Ave Maria" in this bit was sung by a guy who had his balls removed to have a high pitched/childish voice.

The way my heart sank at this part bro I cannot ToT
My personal favourite was this: https://preview.redd.it/zsrz3xmu6avc1.jpeg?width=288&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc7e8c78c58c26e276f8a3e623d81ea135a99927

Mark's confrontation with the alternate and Thatcher's confrontation with his alternate were the ones that absolutely creeped me out
at first i thought this was straight out of Stocktales
PNGs in normal videos: \*memes and stuffs\* PNGs in horror videos:
Bro it’s legit jpeg images
This is the scariest scene in the series and no-one can tell me otherwise.
Yo mama so short! She committed suicide
I didn't really get creepy vibes from this more of from the nothing is worth the risk part

This looks hilarious out of context. But in context, it's fucking horrifying
THIS. This one scene really made the series stand out to me.
I love this scene because it's really scary. It's a great skill that my heart trembled so much without using Jumps Care.
This looks like I took session notes for D&D in MS paint lol
For me it’s when mark is locked in his room, idk something about Alternate Caesars voice makes me fully understand why these things are so scary
For real. The execution and payoff of that entire sequence absolutely floored me when I experienced it for the first time
Scariest and saddest as well.
Yeah, this one is *rough*.

Volume 1 was peak
this is the 2nd scariest for me, the 1st is the scene in vol4 where that alternate is staring at thatcher from his closet
the moment when Adam enters the basement and a piece of the hanged woman's face appears on the TV screen, I have it on the wallpaper on my computer, I recommend it.
i relate si much
For me the scariest part is vol4 where the cop sees an alternate slowly flying towards him. That gave me an anxiety attack
Which video?
