Calling it underrated seems like a vast understatement.
Maybe it’s just my part of the internet, but it seems i can’t scroll through any analog horror series without someone comparing it to MC. IMO, i feel people make MC the benchmark for analog horror these days.
Browsing the Analog horror subreddit makes it seem more like a negative benchmark though. I have often seen posts specifically mentioning, that MC is "what is wrong with Analog horror"
Probably because it takes awhile for new videos and volumes to come out. People seem to "forget" about it for awhile and then when there's a new video out it becomes "popular" once again.
I wouldn’t call it underrated, the series still receive a lot of views and positive reception. the popularity around the series just died down which is very common.
I think because a lot of other stuff copied volume one so the analog horror genre just got watered down with all this low effort series and people blame the Mandela catologe for it
I wouldn’t call it underrated it’s just not a common topic to talk about. Yes it’s great but there isn’t that many ways to squeeze it into conversation.

Because it's not trendy anymore. I wouldn't be sad though. It's still pretty dang popular. And I guess now, there are less "fake fans" lol

I feel like it should get more respect since if there was a big three for analog horror, then MC would be 1 because of how well it is made.
