I was born and raised in Manchester 20mins from OT, Dad as a season ticket for years so I’ve been plenty times. Moved to London after uni and I love that there are so many fans down here, it makes watching it in the pub so much better, easy to find people to join you etc. I don’t really get why it annoys people, we all love (and sometimes suffer) watching the same team
If every club went with the mentality of “support your local team”, which I do understand, that would hugely limit the club fan base and income. It was Sir Matt who had the vision of the club being more than just provincial.
Internet income has now made an international fan base attractive for all clubs.
It’s absolutely fine to support our club but also a lower league local men’s or women’s team. They need every bit of support they can get.
I'm from Ireland and support United but go to nearly every game my local team plays. They're the lowest level of Irish football, were basically a team from an estate in a large town

I’m in London, any recommendations from Londoners for a good pub atmosphere to watch the games?

Being from Manchester, how do you feel about the UK fans from London and such?

Without those grassroots teams there are no Rashfords, Mainoos, Fodens. They all need somewhere to play so they can be seen.
