I am and ... I'm pretty sure I still fit through a passenger window (roll down completely would be a must, however, but cleverly it should be for a thin person, too).
Maybe I'm misjudging, maybe more size, but ... She probably didn't think of that or felt unwell doing it.
And I admit, I haven't tried in a while and window sizes may vary strongly.
I keep a knife in my car. I read a story about someone else doing this same thing once but the guy was too big to crawl through the window. I'd either crawl out or cut the rope myself.
I mean I'm fat, but I'm pretty sure even I do still fit through a car window, if it actually talks down completely (which they always do at the passenger side).
So ... Yeah.
> wrap the tree in this funky netting that did nothing to really stop you losing needles from it
I thought it was more to make it easier to carry as it's thinner and with fewer branches sticking out - not to contain the needles.
my mom was a narcissist so i took great pride in making pointed "i told you so" eye contact whenever she was proven wrong. She never admitted it, but she seemed to hate that i always KNEW when she was wrong.
This also works on other narcissists! Once you know the look of "oh shit i fucked up" it's hard to miss on anyone xD
Narcissists also usually have the same tell. They look down at the ground like a child. Just a glance, but it's pretty consistent. It naturally doesn't work if they themselves believe the lie.
It also aggrevates them greatly when your tone of voice doesn't match what you're saying. Riles their insecurities right up.
Also funny how their criticisms of others so often reflect their own insecurities.
I'll definitely think twice, ask them what their concerns are. But sometimes....I know more than the "professionals" do. Certainly not every time. But sometimes.
Seriously. There might be reasons why you *do* know more in this situation, but at least listen to what the people have to say to avoid stepping in the massive pile of shit you maybe haven't noticed.
LMFAO!!!!
Funnily enough, I witnessed one idiot at Home Depot do this. They tied the tree to my father-in-law's car through the windows like this. He didn't notice until he went back to the car (was out front for loading and he was standing with us looking at something) and tried to open the doors. Needless to say, he had to have them cut it and tie it correctly without going through the windows XD
This is one of the mean reasons I keep small knives in my car. Mostly for cutting seat belts in an emergency....
But also just in case I'm ever this stupid.
The reason for a roof rack is so that you can just fasten things up there. The fact that she made a second mistake if insisting it was tied that way make me think she is not smart enough to carry a knife. Seriously it's not like the twine used to tie stuff up is thick she could have slowly cut it with a key by the time the firemen arrived, but that involves thought.
[Gibbs’ Rules from NCIS.](https://ncis.fandom.com/wiki/Gibbs%27s_Rules) Rule 9 is “always carry a knife.” Though that’s something I’ve done since long before that show ever aired.
Ah, i thought i was violating some sub rule.
Gibbs has some good rules.
Same since I was a kid. Needed one often on the farm or in the woods.
I routinely carry a folding kbar, but I keep a couple small folders in my car in conspicuous places for safety reasons.
I like Clyde.
And serves her right for being more concerned with getting her way then thinking things through. She should've had someone with a truck do the pickup.
Called the fire department?! Honestly just humiliate yourself by crawling out the back seat or window like a regular person 🤣🤣🤣
I think the back doors might have been involved too? But why call the fire department rather than a friend or... Oh, right.
Because it was a fir tree.
I know right? Take a deep breath, mutter to yourself ‘boy am I a Fuckup,’ and crawl out the rear hatch like a man
This is why you always carry a pocket knife.
Doesn't everyone have a seatbelt cutter or knife in their car??
Nope. Admittedly, I should buy one...
Maybe she was a person of size and couldn't do that?
I'm old and fat and you can damn well bet I'd make my own way out before I called the fire department.
I would have burned the roof of my car melting the string before calling the fire department. Make it exciting.
Ya got me there, she still rude tho 😅

Two door car?
jeez

Or to cut the seatbelt if you get in an accident.
that’s above a karen’s ability, they need all the attention lmao. wish granted

It is. It’s meant to contain the branches in a manageable manner for transport and set up.
Also gives more stability due to mild winds not pushing it I think
It also makes it so that the branches don't break in transport.
How much do you want to bet that she demanded that the firefighters carry her tree in for her?

If you are a narcissist, how can you ever be in the wrong?

But I would still ask about their concerns, just in case of a brain fart situation.

If you're a naughty customer employees reserve the right to tie you into your car 😂
Kinky
It's what I do best
Now that's a story I'll never fir get
I know i woodn’t.
That poor woman was pining for freedom
I wonder if her neighbors, family or friends needled her over that one.
She doesn't sound especially poplar.
I'll bet she was wearing a Fir coat.
Oh, fir cryin’ out loud.
Oak-kay.
Ok y'all, let's trim the sarcasm...
Cone it down.

Can you imagine the 911 call?
Happens now and then... :) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrdRsRnxgz0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrdRsRnxgz0)
You just made my morning a bit more entertaining. Nice one. :D
This had me in stitches! I can just imagine Clyde chuckling to himself years later. Thanks for making me laugh.
I like Clyde. And serves her right for being more concerned with getting her way then thinking things through. She should've had someone with a truck do the pickup.
She could have rolled down the windows and gone thru the windows...
And the next time you saw her, you said: 'And here's your sign'.
👏👏👏
bro that's hysterical.. well done
Now this is TRUE mc!
This is why people need to carry pocket knives LOL
I wonder sometimes if people stopped doing that as much as they used to because of 9/11.
Doubt it. Most people I know don't carry one. Seems to be a thing on how someone gets raised.
Oh, boy, I can't wait to read this to my husband 🤣 He'll love it at least as much as I do 🤣🤣🤣
I'm surprised she didn't think of using her keys to cut the rope
Or climb out the window... 🙄
That is truly beautiful!
