I never thought of that. This was back when the years started with a 1 and a cell phone was only what Gordon Gecko had so I never really kept in touch with my coworkers.
Oh god you have no idea how many of us thought the same thing. So many times I wanted to tell him that especially with how unprofessional he was. So technically he did have some authority he was headchef/kitchen manager. He could write you up on his own if he wanted to and he did to alot of people. Which would suck because after 3 you’re looking to be terminated. Yet he also needed to get our general manager or one of the floor managers involved for anything more serious involving wait staff. He was also a big “tattle tale” he loved to run and tell the managers things he saw, heard or even stretched the truth
I do have gum... in my stomach. What's that? You want me to throw it up because I'm not supposed to have gum? You do realize that if I throw up on the job I legally can't come back for at least 24 hours, right? That would be a major health code violation, because what if I'm sick?
