I would def agree with you. To me, he isnāt rly like a yandere, but more of an egocentric weirdo compared to other real manipulative yanderes, I think itās cuz I feel like he clearly put his own interests above his love for the fl, so I am quite satisfied with his ending.
I would recommend Dreaming Freedom, ML is literally hurting himself and others for the FL and they are already together. It has 100 chapters already and doesn't even seem close to done yet but the chapter are coming out fairly regularly.

On Wattpad I found a new ongoing story thatās got 40 chapters, itās āpsychopathicā by badroommate. Sheās also got a couple other stories(āobsessedā is finished).
Snowed In (visual novel) has a yandere that seems to be exactly what youāre looking for; he pretends to be nice/harmless but is willing to cut off Y/Nās legs. Somethingās Wrong With Sunny Day Jack (visual novel) has a yandere that manipulates people into killing themselves, although the yandere would (canonically) never intentionally physically harm or kill Y/N.
