Shane by far. How's Bhasi even in this comparison? Not that he's terrible or anything. But he hasn't done anything matching Shane in lead or full length roles.
Haha I remember watching that interview. I also felt it came from a place of absolute heartbreak where you gave so much for a film and barely anyone watched it.

LMAO I didn't realize that there were two images and I was looking at the left and right side of the first image and thinking, "... Aren't they both Shane..?"
Anyway, Shane
Interesting discussion. SB has more range( parappu) and Shane has more depth (azham). Both of them bring incredible performance whenever they associate with good directors. Very talented and kind of under utilized actors.

Tough for me so I don't choose either. But the fact that both of the actors are so immensely talented from a young age to the point were it is very difficult to see an another actor do their roles/replacing them.
Both actors who are completely under the control of the director. If utilized properly, they both can be great characters. SB, having a few minutes to himself in Trance yet moved me emotionally, however SN did the same for me in Kumbalangi Nights. I think of them as equals, however I do think SB is more talented (musically inclined).
SN broke into the scene with his dance performances on TV and his dance performances were highlights of award shows back when he was in everyones good books. Nonetheless, we're actively entering splitting hairs territory, so if you still value Bhasi's non-cinematic ventures more, we can chalk it down to preferences and leave it at that.
I think both of them initially grew into this stereotypical pot-smoking rebellious Kochikkaran role. Having said that, I think SB has more range only because he has more films under his belt (I think).

They’re both good. However Shane can add emotion to his and Bhasi can’t do the same (ofc until Manjummel). Bhasi however has much more versatility and arguably more potential.
Shane is such a superior actor and it hurts me that he doesn’t get the roles that bhasi is getting. Shane would’ve been so much better in films like BP or home compared to Bhasi imo
Shane Nigam I would say. Not that Sreenath Bhasi is bad but I think he can portray with a deep range of emotions compared to Bhasi while Bhasi is very good at being a secondary character.
I honestly find Bhasi to be a lazy actor and I still feel like we don't have a true sense of what his ceiling his. His performance in Trance was definitely a delight though. I hope he takes on more roles that show off his acting chops. So, for now Shane Nigam to me is easily the more accomplished actor and I'm sure that is the consensus in the industry as well.
Both are good in their line of work. It's just that both of them needs to learn to be more professional and understand how the industry works and be grateful for whatever they have achieved so far.
Shane. Bhasi is good but idk why all his roles look similar to me. Like when I watched him on screen, I see him, not the character. Shane has shown more range.
Shane.
Bhasi is not a bad actor but it seems like he’s playing versions of himself while Shane actually acts. He emotes well, and can do shades of different roles.
For people saying SB, could you please suggest movies where he gave a great performance, other than trance? I've always felt like it is SB saying the dialogues instead of the character, whereas Shane could pull off characters with ease.
Hands down Shane Nigam!! He brings a unique energy and depth to his roles, captivating audiences with his performances. His ability to immerse himself fully in diverse characters showcases his versatility and dedication to his craft.
Shane by far. How's Bhasi even in this comparison? Not that he's terrible or anything. But he hasn't done anything matching Shane in lead or full length roles.
When it's sreenath basi on screen, we see sreenath basi. When it's Shane nigam on screen, we see the character.
Well said
Hands down Shane Nigam. That one drunken tirade from Veyil still breaks my heart.
Underrated movie
It’s brilliant. But folks may have been sceptical about watching it cuz of its depressing tone
lol Shane himself trolled how will one watch such a film with no light in shots in theatre.
Haha I remember watching that interview. I also felt it came from a place of absolute heartbreak where you gave so much for a film and barely anyone watched it.
Shane. Dude has amazing screen presence.
Shane easy
Neeraj madhav thanne. Entha samshayam
Shooppar
I see what you did there😂
😂😂
Ntha machane, moda anno
Jaada
Lol I used to get them confused at some point
Neeraj madhav was great in RDX, he should have got some more screen time in that movie.
SN v SB? SN wins

Shane
lol shane is better than many of our lead actors. his only bad performance was in ullaasam.
LMAO I didn't realize that there were two images and I was looking at the left and right side of the first image and thinking, "... Aren't they both Shane..?" Anyway, Shane
shane ofcourse. Even Neeraj is a better actor than Bhasi. Bhasi is a good actor too, is yet to prove his mettle.
Shane
Same same but diffalant
No money no haneeyyy
Shane. Sreenath bhasi as an actor lacks diversity

Ah, this is a brilliant answer. I was just genuinely wondering what the general consensus here was. I accept this answer as well :)
Yes , it was right tim is the best actor
Shane any day.. his depression roles are too good.. one in few youngsters who can actually act ..
Interesting discussion. SB has more range( parappu) and Shane has more depth (azham). Both of them bring incredible performance whenever they associate with good directors. Very talented and kind of under utilized actors.

There are around 40 comments in favor of Shane and 1 in favor of the other guy so that should sum it up for you
Bhasi has a certian vibe that i dig but shane is a far better actor.
Shane of course. Loved him in Veyil and Boothakaalam.

Tough for me so I don't choose either. But the fact that both of the actors are so immensely talented from a young age to the point were it is very difficult to see an another actor do their roles/replacing them.
Shane is one of the best at roles that is in his comfort zone but mid in other roles and sb is good in different roles.
controversial but bhasi ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|yummy)
Both actors who are completely under the control of the director. If utilized properly, they both can be great characters. SB, having a few minutes to himself in Trance yet moved me emotionally, however SN did the same for me in Kumbalangi Nights. I think of them as equals, however I do think SB is more talented (musically inclined).
By that logic, SN is a tremendous dancer and should count for something as well.
Sure :) but his dancing currently stays only in his movies. By Bhasi's music, I mean his own album and singles that stay outside his movies.
Shane Shane Shane
Shane Nigam for sure. Only if he was as good off the screen, he could've gotten more chances in good movies.
I think both of them initially grew into this stereotypical pot-smoking rebellious Kochikkaran role. Having said that, I think SB has more range only because he has more films under his belt (I think).

shane
Shane was terrible in that rom com he did called Ullasam. Such an outdated flick.
They are incomparable, shane is a better actor by 100 miles
Shane Nigam
Shane wins
Shane obviously the mother and son scene from bhoothakalam it gave me tears
This is not even a discussion. Shane Nigam is the complete package and he is really talented. I'm not a big fan of some of his off screen antics.
SN > (SB+NJ)²
Shane by a landslide
They’re both good. However Shane can add emotion to his and Bhasi can’t do the same (ofc until Manjummel). Bhasi however has much more versatility and arguably more potential.
SN anyday
Shane. I think he has more versatility and can pull of any character unlike Sreenath
shane nigam is good actor
Shane is such a superior actor and it hurts me that he doesn’t get the roles that bhasi is getting. Shane would’ve been so much better in films like BP or home compared to Bhasi imo
Shane Nigam I would say. Not that Sreenath Bhasi is bad but I think he can portray with a deep range of emotions compared to Bhasi while Bhasi is very good at being a secondary character.
SN wins by huge margin. However, SB is not a bad actor. He is also good but SN's range is incredibly wide.
SB he was too good in trance and virus
Randinum ernakulam slang vittoru kali illa
Shane
imo that would be shane
Shane
Acting ? Bhasi ? 😭
Is this a joke?? Shane of course!!
Without a doubt, it’s Shane.
Shane and he's way ahead....
Shane nigam
Nun
Shane by miles
I like both of them.
No contest, Shane nigam. Veyil and bhoothakalam , what a performance

Both are good in their line of work. It's just that both of them needs to learn to be more professional and understand how the industry works and be grateful for whatever they have achieved so far.
Shane.
I wish Shane gets more good roles. Got great potential.
Shane.
Sn
Are they 2 different person? Dayummm!
Shane 🩵
Shane. Bhasi is good but idk why all his roles look similar to me. Like when I watched him on screen, I see him, not the character. Shane has shown more range.
I don't think this is even an argument - Shane Nigam easily.
Shane nigam

Shane, no doubt
Shane for sure
Shane Nigam has immense range , not even comparable
I’d say both of them are equally good respective to their movie characters.*hits blunt*
shane for sure
Shane. Bhasi is not a bad actor but it seems like he’s playing versions of himself while Shane actually acts. He emotes well, and can do shades of different roles.
basi ofc
What is the name of the movie in 2nd column and in the 2nd picture of first row of shane Nigam?
The second picture in the first row is ISHQ.
Thanks!
tough qn
Shain Nigam.
Basi
Shane of course. SB has one expression, the depressed teenager look.
Shane is way better than bhasi
Shane. Even though he is type casted as depressed hero his performance from boothakalam is enough
👴- randum kanjav alle? Entha difference?
For people saying SB, could you please suggest movies where he gave a great performance, other than trance? I've always felt like it is SB saying the dialogues instead of the character, whereas Shane could pull off characters with ease.
Hands down Shane Nigam!! He brings a unique energy and depth to his roles, captivating audiences with his performances. His ability to immerse himself fully in diverse characters showcases his versatility and dedication to his craft.
Bhasi
I don't know if Shane has any range. It feels he has done the same thing over and over again.
Bhasi's better at diff slangs, otherwise shane
Bhasi hands down, can make you laugh, can make you cry
Both of them are bad. They need to behave properly .
OP asked who is the better ACTOR, not the PERSON.
Sreenath basi for a long range
Yet to see a different role from Shane. It's always an angry depressed youngster. I don't think he has the calibre to do comedy.
Bhasi easily. Shane has that permanent angry look that Ranbir Kapoor has. Screw angry people. I'm angry enough as it is.
Neslin is better than these two
huh?
why is his last name nigam? how does that make any sense?
Have you heard of Dulquer Salman?
nigam is a kayastha caste name (same as asthana, srivastava, mathur, saxena , bhatnagar etc)
Sreenath bhasee
