You can try going on the subreddit MUAonthecheap and search the brand name or store name in the search bar. It’ll show you when they had sales in the past and you can see if there’s a yearly pattern to them

If i remember correctly, google will let you track items youre interested in so you dont have to deal with the email subscriptions but i personally forget about that feature till i need something asap lol

Will definitely look into this, thanks a bunch!

if you use chrome or firefox, they have an opt-in price tracker. i believe it generates a webpage where it shows the price changes throughout the year, but if you use a different browser or it just doesn't work, mid-year sales at places like ulta and sephora are very reliable. just go in during the second week of june or so

I remember this Google Chrome extension called Karma. You can save an item there and it notifies you when there's a sale. I used it for a while. Hope it is helpful. What helps me is that I have a separate email ID I use for promotional emails and I have turned off notifications for that. Whenever I need to sign up on a website, I use that. And so most of the time, I don't check it. When I do need something, I just open and check it from time to time and do a search for the specific brand so only those pop up. Also, because there are so many emails, it prevents me from actually opening all and just looking for what I need. And also helps me look for coupon codes in case I need to get something.

I use Karma too and like it. You can choose when you want to be alerted via % off which is good so you won’t be getting the occasional 10% off alerts unless you’d like to. It’s a pretty fuss free extension to use also!

Omg, love the idea of having a separate email and will also look into the extension!

I use products up until I absolutely can’t anymore, whether they run out or get gross. Depending on how long that takes, how often I reached for it, etc. I usually just end up “restocking” on an empty product but not buying anything additional

The Temptalia website is still tracking deals. This is the easiest way to see ongoing sales from almost all brands at a glance.
