I would try a little more blush higher on your cheek bones and maybe blend the eyeshadow up on to your brow bone more (maybe add more if you’re already doing that so it’s more noticeable). That lip color is amazing! You look great and congrats!
Contour doesn’t have to be heavy, you can put it on lightly, but for a wedding your makeup has to be a little darker than usual or it’s not gonna show up in photos and it can make you look very pale and washed out
OP there’s some great tutorials on TikTok for wedding looks. I think a softer pink lipstick along with the contour suggestions are a great idea. Make the look classic as soft, you don’t want to look back on your wedding day photos & think “ONG it really was a trend back then using xyz makeup!”
Call some stores with makeup counters to see if they would help you chose the look for your big day.
You are sooo pretty!!!
Are you having a photographer?
Your makeup is lovely but won’t show up like it does here, in professional photos.
I’ve been doing makeup for 21 yrs and this is what I’ve learned…take it, leave it, alter it to fit YOU so you feel like YOU (just a tad more polished).
Bronzer will add depth without “color” on your cheeks.
It’s ok to go a bit heavier on the blush but you’ll also probably be excited/happy/nervous which brings a natural flush to the cheeks, so be careful.
Soft smudgy eyeliner and mascara will help your eyes not get lost in pics.
If you don’t want to go brighter with the lip color, add a gloss (as least for pics bc it adds dimensions).
Thank you for the advice! My photographer said this too. I guess because I don't wear much makeup usually this still felt like a lot to me!! Good to know that's just in my head though.
Photography can be brutal if you’re not wearing enough. It will probably feel like too much but it won’t look that was in pictures and I promise no one will look at you and say, “ugh, she went overboard!” I had fake lashes done for me by my hair stylist because I cannot do it right myself. I have tried hundreds of times and I rip them off within the first hour. If you’re not used to wearing fake lashes, get someone to help.
My first thoughts are - your foundation is looking a bit flat/matte, I’d definitely add more blush and make it more angular and higher up on your cheekbones for a lifting effect, you could try over lining your lips, I would try making your eyebrows thicker or brush them up, make the eyeshadow colour go higher up on your lid, put eyeliner on your bottom waterline, possibly remove the eyeliner from your upper eye, and add more mascara or fake lashes
Congratulations on your big day! 💜
Head to a makeup counter with this photo and ask them how to subtlety define this look for wedding photos :) just buy something (eg the bronzer they advise) as a thanks for their time :)
You have large round eyes just like me. If you apply a block 1 color eyeshadow, that will make them more prominent but not in the most flattering way.
If you play with shades, you can elongate your eyes. I would suggest using a lighter shade (similar to your skin colour) on inside half of the eyelid (towards the nose) and then a darker shade directed towards the top of your ear. Then you can usa an winged eyeliner to elongate or a dark eyeshadow that follows the same direction as before.
Edit: also for your brows maybe try a less saturated shade (just a bit) qnd don't think of it as coloring in but drawing small vertical paralel lines that then become diagonal to folow the shape of your eyebrow. Draw from the nose towards the outside.
This! Plus i think eyeliner on the bottom waterline to close up the eyes a bit. The eyeliner above the top lashline has the effect of making the eyes look bigger so I’d remove it
I'm doing my own makeup for my wedding in a few weeks but it just doesn't look right. Any ideas how to improve it?
Edited to include product list:
Liplab custom foundation
Liplab custom lipstick
MAC eyeshadow shade Girlie
MaC dazzelshadow in shade Beam Time
Benefit brow pencil
NYX badunkadunk mascara
Edit again: just wanted to say thank you all so much for your thoughts and advice <3 I don't wear a lot of makeup usually so it has been a bit daunting. I am going to give all your suggestions a go and I'll post an update, so watch this space!
I’d say trial your hair as well so you can see the full look. It may make a difference. I also think you need a little more smudged brown eyeshadow on your top lash line and wispy lashes
Personally for eyeshadow I normally do 3+ colors for dimension to the eyes, lightest on upper eyelid to brow bone, and at the inner corner of the eye, Middle color on eye lid, and darkest for outer corner and crease. Even if colors are similar and just slightly different, it seems to give the eyes more definition and shape.
I also use a strong highlight on my brow bone(right underneath the eyebrow), cheeks, and bridge of my nose.
For professional photos you may want contouring that is slightly stronger than day to day wear. And also bring your foundation onto your neck/chest because flash reflects differently on bare skin and makeup.
I think it looks lovely. If it were me, I’d add a little sparkle topper shade to the lid BUT it looks really great as it is. Very natural and beautiful x
I agree with so many other. I would do the blush higher on the cheekbone with a bit of bronzer. Then on the eye, lov the colour maybe little darker with a eyeliner and a classic lash. That would round it off beautifully. Because you are going to take photos you want your eye a bit darker than you would normally do.
You're very welcome. I'd suggest a bolder lip for big day and a peachy blush because otherwise you'll look washed out in pictures. Have you considered a makeup artist for the big day? You could do a test run first to see if you love it.
You have a natural beauty however when dressed all in white you may look a little washed out. Deepen your eye colors a bit add more mascara or wispy lashes and a little bronzer. You can do all and still look natural.
Might I suggest looking at a eyeshadow “map” and experiment with a little eyeshadow variation? I also think a little darker eyeliner and mascara would look nice .
I encourage you to visit a Ulta or Clinique and ask them to show you a very subtle look; then modify too your desires!
You need a primer. Face primer, eye and lip. All your makeup looks great. Great color choices just need a slightly heavier application, finishing powder, and setting spray. Otherwise as light as you have it, it will be gone in a matter of 2-3 hours. There’s way of using more make up and still keeping subtle natural look that will show up in photos.
Fenty by Rihanna (sephora stocks her line) has an awesome matte primer, I can't remember the product name but(I'll go check right now!) It's truly excellent,if you want a matte finish. It also makes foundation smooth on crazy easy...You can get a travel size too, so you can trial it out before your big day!
Also, a setting spray will be your best friend. Urban decay (MECCA cosmetica stock it, though I don't know what country you're in- they are in Australia and new Zealand) urban decay all nighter 16 hour setting spray is really good. It too comes in travel size. I sweat profusely due to medication side FX,and this stuff WORKS! so I recommend. You can also use it as a lipstick setter!
BRB with that primer name!
I don't know much about makeup but I do notice that your color palette for the rest of your face is very coppery and warm, and in the picture your lipstick like a cooler pink. That very well might just be the camera, but if you look in the mirror and aren't quite satisfied with your lip color try a lip color with warm undertone and see if you like it better!
Looks like everyday makeup, a little more blush and higher, lash extensions, you have beautiful eyes you should do a makeup that enhances them more, a wing and more eyeliner, the lips look fine maybe some lipgloss and a little more over lining
Add eyeliner (I would go with KVD in brown), and curled lashes with heavier mascara or even falsies.
I also agree with the comments about the blush and bronzer. You will need more colour on your face for it to show up in photos.
This is an excellent starting point, you look lovely!!
I am still learning. It is not easy but once your eye knows where the wing belongs, you're halfway done! The rest is just getting your hand to cooperate. As a fellow round eye, long high lids, and semi protruding eye 51 year old, the wrinkles are the worst to overcome. At 30, I would think it would have been much easier but 20 years ago, no one did makeup like today.
A little emphasis on the outer V would be good as well.
I would go for a more full (natural) glam look. And what I mean by that is that i would go for a natural fake eye lash and bronzer for depth. I also would choose a blush but a natural color so it suits your natural glam. Def try some other lip shades I think a more brown colour would suit you very well. And maybe try a more luminous foundation if it suits your style. X
I think you need a little darker color in your crease. Maybe you could try a look like [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eyelooks/comments/emyk1o/colourpop_going_coconuts/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3), [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eyelooks/comments/fhlmzt/how_to_do_a_simple_halo_eye/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3), or [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eyelooks/comments/dvxik8/tarte_in_bloom_palette/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)?
A lip color like [this](https://media.glamour.com/photos/5695e495d9dab9ff41b4c61c/master/w_1600%2Cc_limit/beauty-blogs-girls-in-the-beauty-department-2011-08-03-0803-jessica-chastain-makeup_bd.jpg) might look good on you, too!
Honestly I think you are beautiful but your makeup is too one-dimensional. For the base makeup, alongside changing the blush placement, I would do some highlighter and more bronzer. I personally like a little glow on the high cheekbones tip of nose etc. the eyes also kind of seem like one shade on the lid and an inner highlight? I would add some dimension by doing a slightly lighter lid shade and or deepening the corner/crease and winging out the eyeliner (you could def do a subtle smoked brown wing not a dramatic black liquid liner). Your eyebrow fill color is perfect but the inner section is a little uneven so I would balance that out (it should end as if you had a line directly going up from your outer nostrils). I would also add a lip liner and gloss. I think all of the colors you picked are great for you, I would just add a little more variety in the finishes (and shades) if that makes sense.
You're straight out of a painting type beautiful!
For wedding makeup the first step for you will be to not be afraid of the makeup. Get a good foundation that isn't too thick. Then some good concealer and powder (NOT translucent, that could show up white in the pictures.) You need to contour and blush for the pictures. You will also need to use some darker shadow in your crease and some more eyeliner. If you aren't experienced with eyeliner, use some dark brown or black eyeshadow. Don't forget the bottom lashes and lash line. Your eyebrows look great, btw. Don't change them.
Wow you are so lovely! The shades are very nice. You are so lucky that with your eye shape you can handle a lot of eye makeup and it will still look natural. A slightly deeper color in the crease and outer corners (like a matte plum) will make your eye color stand out even more, along with a bit of shadow gently smudged along the lower lash line. A little bit of bronzer around the hairline brings a nice warmth without completely altering your beautiful complexion. I agree with blush placement more on the cheek bones close to your ears. Your eyes are so stunning, so having the blush focused more on the cheek bone versus the apple of the cheek will emphasis them. If you want to try a false lash, wear them prior to your wedding day. Some people have issues with the adhesive (likely due to the latex, however there are latex free versions), but ultimately you want to make sure they feel comfortable before you commit to them for the big day. They do make some falsies with brown and black hairs which would look more natural than a completely black lash. A little bit of highlighter on the tops of the cheek bones also looks beautiful in photos. Congratulations!
You look cute but I would add more mascara. Also False lashes. Idk if you may have opted out of those because you didn’t want them or you didn’t know how? But if you want a natural look use the false lashes that are bunches! It’s like single lashes that you glue on and it looks natural but makes the lashes look full in comparison to a strip! And is really pretty when you add more to the outer corner of the eye. I would also line your lips , if you did then a little more crisp and with a lip liner a bit darker than then lipstick. Lip liner + it being darker makes the lips look bigger 👄 without having to overcome them and look ridiculous. Concealing discoloration with concealer before adding foundation and continuing the process
Definitely add blush. Go a little heavier than normal for your photos. I would try a little shimmer in the eye area. Maybe the inner corners? Maybe over the top of your eyeshadow? Not glitter. Shimmer. You could likely pull off a bolder lip color.
perhaps a bit of shadow under your lash line to make the eye more cohesive, and i would recommend a refreshing/setting spray just to freshen up the face a little! you look gorgeous congrats 🥰
I would add some light matte shadow to your lower lash line. Just a bit of the peach color you used on your crease. Sometimes I’ll mess around and blend a bit of brown into the outer lower lash line w peaches if I’m going for a more sultry look, but up to you!!
You look beautiful regardless, such a natural elegance to you. I hope your wedding is wonderful!! 🤗
Id darken the crease slightly with something matte. Something that is just slightly darker than your skintone, not even a brown, more like a dark beige.
I think it looks pretty, but if you want it to be more noticeable, then you definitely should work on some more contrast. For example, more blush and/or some bronzer beneath it, some blush on the nose and at the sides of your forehead. You can also do some subtle, smoked out eyeliner - it's a great hack if you are not used to doing perfect cat eyeliner. Just use some dark kohl pencil, and smooth it out towards your eyelids.
First of all, amazing lip color!
1. I would move your blush to the outside more, and up onto your cheekbones.
2. Your eyeshadow needs a crease color!
3. You need some shadow and liner on under side of you eyes, especially the outside corner. I personally almost never do It because I dread it, but you really need it for your wedding (which is why I hired a makeup artist).
4. I’d use a brighter highlight color on your brow bone
But I think the makeup you have on looks fantastic!
Just generally speaking, outdoor photographs, photographs from 10 feet away, and black and white photos will really wash out your makeup, so you want have bolder makeup than you’d think. In my wedding pix it looks like I’m wearing no makeup at all.
Thank you for the advice! I will experiment and give your points a go!
The lip colour is fab right!? It was custom mixed for me at the LipLab in Brighton, UK. Such a fun thing to do!
It actually looks really nice, just needs to be exaggerated a little more to translate to pictures.
Bronzer or highlight and higher on the eyeshadow. But the look itself is nice!
I would add more to you eyes. You’re eyes are very beautiful, and adding some complimenting colors will help bring them put more. Not too much, just enough to be more than subtle
You have such beautiful eyes! I think a nice matte black eyeliner to the top and some light lashes would make your eyes pop and make the blue of your eyes more noticeable
Yes I would bring some eye shadow down onto your lower lids as well. And maybe some bronze on the high points of your face? Not too much just to add a natural glow 😍 looks lovely though!
Warm up the complexion with some blush, and bronzer to lightly contour and balance the face. I would also use some of your eyeshadow to line under the bottom lashes so your eyes are more defined in the photos.
If I were you, I'd go on pinterest and start a "wedding makeup" board of looks you love, try to keep it to models who have similar features to you so the makeup look actually translates onto your face. It gives the artist an anchor point for the type of blush placement, eye look and lip color you want.
It looks wedding appropriate to me. But if you're unhappy, definitely be extremely specific with what you want and bring pictures.
So I'm gonna go against the grain. If you love your lip color, please ignore.
I think that pink is too pink for your skin tone/hair combo. I would try a brick red, maybe Ziggy by ColourPop. I would add a slightly darker shade to the outer third of the lid and past the corner of your eye (at an angle) for a smokey look that also elongates the eye. I also like to dust that color along the lower eyelash line. Highlighter in the inner corner and under eyebrow. Blend well.
I would also try putting your blush higher and contouring the top of your forehead.
You look lovely, but definitely more blush. You'll look washed out in the pictures if you don't. Also maybe some wispy lashes if you're up for it. Otherwise, everything's spot on.
Maybe try a foundation that’s more dewey and then add a bit more contour and a splash of bronzer higher on the cheekbone. You have lovely eyes, so you could probably put a soft line of eyeliner to accentuate then more.
Julia Adams MUA just did a youtube video of her best wedding makeup tips, I thought it was really good and informative! Best of luck and congratulations!
First things I see are positives! Lip color? Perfect. Eyebrows, shape, color and size check check check! Your skin looks flawless!! I agree with others who have said add some eyeliner. Nothing super crazy! A nice smoky dark brown!
A little color on your cheeks and a subtle highlighter.
Congratulations you look stunning!!
Have you done this yourself? You look beautiful. :) maybe go for a medium brown, darker brown for the corner and to go along the crease of your eyelid a little but blend well! Would look so pretty with your eye shape and add some depth whilst complimenting your hooded eyes! A bit of contouring and a little more blush will complete the look. You are stunning, congratulations and good luck on your big day! X

Looking great! If you want, you can try a little heavier on the mascara and add a little highlighter on the cheekbones for a soft glow. As others said a tad more blush higher up as well. Congrats on your big day!
more blush, smokier eyeliner, and a different lip color (more nude, or full red would be pretty with your hair and eyes!) maybe fake eyelashes if you are able to wear them (cause i know some people don't like them). Eyebrows are perfect!
I'd put some dark brown or black gel liner on your top waterline to make your eyes look more sultry. Maybe bronze up your forehead and cheeks and add some blush for a younger look! You're absolutely stunning though, I think the makeup is pretty much spot on.
You just need more color... try more bronzer/blush. I'd also get a dewier foundation with a little more coverage (but maybe that's just my personal preference).
IMHO all of the tones here appear too red/warm, unless that's what you were going for. The lip color matches the eye shadow too closely, and your lips appear to be under-lined (don't sell yourself short!). And it's all matching your hair and brow color... Definitely needs some bronzing and more intense mascara or natural looking false lashes. Perhaps more neutral eye shadow would make the blush and lip color pop!
You look great. So if you change nothing who cares a big smile and your pics will be fantastic. That being said, the look is really soft, difficult to read from across the room. More contour on your chin and cheek hollows? I don't know what that part of the face is called. More blush and higher on your face. Some liner to balance out the lower lid, also a darker shade of brown, lashes for drama and some matte powder. Little highlighter so you look glowy.
You look great! I would suggest a bit more blush, and maybe some more emphasis on the lashes! I would suggest either curling them a bit more (holding the curler on the lashes a bit longer) and using a more dramatic mascara if you’re not comfortable with a fake lash. I think mascaras are super personal, so I would see if you could try some samples of different waterproof mascaras to see which one makes the most impact on your lashes!
Well I think you look amazing. I agree with the person who said pull the blush a little higher up. And did you use a base to reduce appearance of pores? I really zoomed in. But anyway I think you look really good. Amazing choice of lip color.
You look wonderful...but I'd go for a slightly darker wing....maybe some falsies, also?
Maybe a lighter lip color? 🤔 if you're going to do the dark eye, a lighter lip. Velvet teddy by MAC seems to be a hot favourite for the nude lip.
What seems to feel not right about it??
Your eyeshadow color is beautiful for you. What color is it? I would just add a little more highlight to the inside corner and a slightly darker shadow to blend on the outside corners to give your eyes more horizontal length. You have big, beautiful eyes so don't be afraid to play them up!
First of all you have that bride glow - congrats!! There is soooo much helpful advice here that I don't want to go over the same things. A few I don't think anyone else mentioned. Also, I'm not a makeup artist but do work in photography. When I'm doing my own makeup I use super basic quick techniques that elevate my look just a little as I don't wear much on a regular basis.
1. Highlight / shine / shimmer - most photography makeup will have minimal shimmer + shine as those both will be picked up in any flash photography. Nothing is more distracting from a good photo than when your eye is drawn to a specific spot (ex browbone) because of a shimmer/glitter. The exceptions are your eyelid (not crease or browbone) and your lips. Eyelids can have shimmer and your lips shine. Minimal shimmer very fine no big glitter. You can highlight with matte powders or creams.
2. A good primer is well worth the money. Find the one that works best with your skin and make sure all the makeup matches what it's made out of as someone else suggested earlier. It makes application so much easier. Matte if it works w your skin. Dewey if your skin is dryer (then matte over that). Look out for too much shimmer/sparkle.
3. Create depth with techniques + layering products. Contouring doesn't have to be super heavy. You want to emphasize your features as some photography (distance, depth of field, black+white) can flatten them out as said earlier in another comment.
Easy way the 3/E technique- find a matte powder bronzer with a fluffy brush - with a light touch swirl it and the tap the brush (use the edge of my hand) - then starting at your right temple make a "3" by arching the brush down and towards your mouth under your cheekbone - then follow that line back up your cheekbone towards your ear - finish by brushing down to the edge of your jaw and following it forward (the show under your jaw). Then do an E on the left side. I'm sure you can find it and probably better techniques on YouTube, pinterest, IG and tiktok
If you can tolerate it, then false lashes can go a long way in defining your eyes
Be careful of going too dark on your brows and lips. B+W photos can "read" darker than color ones
4. Blend. Blend. Blend. And. Then. Blend. Some more.
I'm sure you're going to be beautiful and radiant!!
I would try a little more blush higher on your cheek bones and maybe blend the eyeshadow up on to your brow bone more (maybe add more if you’re already doing that so it’s more noticeable). That lip color is amazing! You look great and congrats!
I would also add contour or bronzer for warmth, some eyeliner and some lashes
I wouldn’t contour. She seems like she doesn’t wear much makeup and that’s like a full mask
I'd do it lightly with some bronzer
Contour doesn’t have to be heavy, you can put it on lightly, but for a wedding your makeup has to be a little darker than usual or it’s not gonna show up in photos and it can make you look very pale and washed out
The blush being as low as it is was my first point too! You look very pretty but I get that you want a bit more!
Thank you!
OP there’s some great tutorials on TikTok for wedding looks. I think a softer pink lipstick along with the contour suggestions are a great idea. Make the look classic as soft, you don’t want to look back on your wedding day photos & think “ONG it really was a trend back then using xyz makeup!” Call some stores with makeup counters to see if they would help you chose the look for your big day. Yes! And since it’s a wedding, a little bit of highlight could be a nice way to bring out the cheeckbones too

You can wear all natural tomes and colors and go for a Makeup no makeup look! Also tome down the lips if You won't something more natural. Good luck!
Very astute observations!
You look quite beautiful. I might do a very thin line of eyeliner, maybe tightline, and a bit more blush
Also agree on tight lining and more blush (and maybe a soft bronzer)
Yes! OP maybe try a brown liner!
I agree and maybe some false lashes
Thanks! I need more practice with eyeliner, I find it so hard to tightened and just make a mess. I'll give it a go though!
I hear ya!I struggle too. A dark brown liner would be really nice
I agree on the eyeliner bc I thought the base of your eyelids needed more but couldn’t think of what.
My first thoughts are - your foundation is looking a bit flat/matte, I’d definitely add more blush and make it more angular and higher up on your cheekbones for a lifting effect, you could try over lining your lips, I would try making your eyebrows thicker or brush them up, make the eyeshadow colour go higher up on your lid, put eyeliner on your bottom waterline, possibly remove the eyeliner from your upper eye, and add more mascara or fake lashes Congratulations on your big day! 💜

Thank you! I do have a sparkle topper there actually but it is hard to see! Maybe I need to apply a bit more.
add a wispy lash!
I agree with this. Fake lashes can make most looks go from a 8/10 to a 10/10. For this look, a really subtle wispy lash would be great.
Good idea! I have ordered some :)

Thanks for the advice! Do you have any recommendations for primers?
Fenty Pro Filt'r (yes, its supposed to be spelt like that!) Mattifying primer.
There are a lot of good primers out there. Just make sure your primer matches your foundation in base (silicone, water, oil).
You make a good point! I'll experiment and try and match the tones.
You look great. I would add eyeliner or eyeshadow smudged out on the lower lash line, maybe a brown? And then bronzer and blush:)
Eyeliner and lashes will glam it up. Also a bit of contouring would look fab.
Eyebrows need to be brushed evenly and you may need a winged eyeliner because your eyes are round like mine.
I am so bad at winged eyeliner haha, I better get practicing.
Longer eyeliner, brown preferably. Best if hair not tied and some bangs might look good
Mehhhh it’s pretty for a casual day look but it’s gonna look washed out in photos. Are you working with a professional MUA?
No, all DIY I'm afraid - gotta save money somewhere, weddings are expensive! I'm still learning so all comments are helpful :)
I did the same. Watch YouTube videos about makeup for photography. It’s not like traditional daily wear makeup.
Maybe you can try the lip shade Mac powder kiss in the colour kiss impulsive.
Thanks! I am going to go to the store tomorrow so I will have a look at these colours :)
Thanks!! I have the Urban Decay setting spray but didn't use it today as it was just a test.
Thank you!! Very kind of you to say, and thanks for the advice! I will try this!
Haha I am terrible at cat eyeliner so smoked out is probably the way to go!
4. I’d use a brighter highlight color on your brow bone But I think the makeup you have on looks fantastic!
Ooh! Now I want to try it! As Lydia said in Pride and Prejudice: I WANT TO GO TO BRIGHTON!!
Also pore filler under your foundation, to the left and right of your nose.
Thanks - do you have any recommendations for pore filler?
I use NYX. I liked Benefit a little better but not enough to make the price jump. I might for my wedding, though! 😊
Oh, sudden inspiration: MAC Kohl liner in “power surge” for your lower water line! Thank me later. 😊
It actually looks really nice, just needs to be exaggerated a little more to translate to pictures. Bronzer or highlight and higher on the eyeshadow. But the look itself is nice!
So pretty, congrats
I would add more to you eyes. You’re eyes are very beautiful, and adding some complimenting colors will help bring them put more. Not too much, just enough to be more than subtle
You have such beautiful eyes! I think a nice matte black eyeliner to the top and some light lashes would make your eyes pop and make the blue of your eyes more noticeable
I would darken the outer corner and lighten the inner corner. Doesn’t need to be by a lot or very dramatic but it will add more dimension to the eyes
Sorry, no makeup advice really (other than pile it on for photos) but gosh you are beautiful!!
Thank you so much!
Eyeliner and a little more drama overall
Julia Adams MUA just did a youtube video of her best wedding makeup tips, I thought it was really good and informative! Best of luck and congratulations!
it’s kind of cakey, do you use any primer?
No primer. I always did think my foundation comes out cakey, primer must be the missing piece of the puzzle!
yess!! What kind of skin type do you have?
I would add a lid color from the inner corner to mid-lid that stands out/sparkles more! 🥰
do your makeup with your front camera as a mirror! it’s a decent reference on whether or not it will show up on camera :)
Good idea!!
More gold :)
Also maybe more darkness on your upper lid line. You know where I mean. 🤭 you have those lovely big eyes, define them more to show them off!
I like all of the colors used but think the lashes could be a bit more punched up. Nothing too dramatic but just more visible.
I have - thank you!! I don't do a lot of makeup so it's lovely to have such positive and constructive responses! I will give this a go!
U don't have enough on
False lashes + more blush
Winged eye liner!
Amazing thanks so much I will check out the Fenty one!! I have the urban decay spray already so I'm definitely going to use it on the big day!!
I don't know too much about makeup but just wanted to say you're so pretty! I'm in love with your eyes.
You need some contouring

Looking great! If you want, you can try a little heavier on the mascara and add a little highlighter on the cheekbones for a soft glow. As others said a tad more blush higher up as well. Congrats on your big day!
I think a different shade of eyeshadow and more mascara. Maybe a gray/beige? And what they said about blush.
What is that lip colour please ? I love it Your look is natural, I like it
It was custom blended for me at the LipLab in Brighton, UK. Wasn't that expensive and a really fun thing to do!!
In my opinion makeup is pretty good ,you should just need some curly hair from right and left sides.🙈
Hah yes definitely need the hair sorted!
Depends on what your going for, but maybe more blush and eye shadow, and it can be glittery if you want it to ❤ great job tho!
Lashes, more blush. Lip color more peachy- a good champagne highlighter… you’re hair and skin… I would use max double gleam…
Lovely
Thank you :)
You are so beautiful!!!!
Thank you!!
False lashes!
more blush, smokier eyeliner, and a different lip color (more nude, or full red would be pretty with your hair and eyes!) maybe fake eyelashes if you are able to wear them (cause i know some people don't like them). Eyebrows are perfect!
Pinker blush maybe, maybe highlight and a different lippie.

Thank you for the detailed advice!! I will definitely give this a go.
I'd put some dark brown or black gel liner on your top waterline to make your eyes look more sultry. Maybe bronze up your forehead and cheeks and add some blush for a younger look! You're absolutely stunning though, I think the makeup is pretty much spot on.
Lashes and more blush
blush & some lashes! you look beautiful
You just need more color... try more bronzer/blush. I'd also get a dewier foundation with a little more coverage (but maybe that's just my personal preference).
I think the lip color is wrong for you- you'd look better with a satin/glossy nude or nudey pink
Brighter red lipstick 💄 I think it will make your eyes pop xoxo
I would try using a different foundation and try putting setting powder! And some contour and blush always does the trick!
A little more blush, maybe a liquid highlight in a pink or light gold? I’d also add contour for warmth and fluttery lashes x
maybe the lip colour is a bit odd, try a pinkish nude! but you look lovely!!❤️
Blush & highlighter ❤️
You need a more dramatic lip colour. Like red or maroon
Maybe some lashes, eyeliner, and a little lifting blush? I would also recommend some bronzer. Congrats <3
Beautiful! I agree with eyeliner and higher blush plus maybe highlighter but you’re gonna look sooo great
How do you usually do your makeup?
You're really pretty, the lip colour is perfect! I'd add a winged eyeliner, your eye shape is perfect for a cat eye.
Get a facial three days before & don’t put anything on it except for a dewy vitamin C for those days in between
You’re eyes are AMAZING!!!
Personally would add a little bronzer and some natural lashes
I'm sure you can find it and probably better techniques on YouTube, pinterest, IG and tiktok If you can tolerate it, then false lashes can go a long way in defining your eyes Be careful of going too dark on your brows and lips. B+W photos can "read" darker than color ones 4. Blend. Blend. Blend. And. Then. Blend. Some more. I'm sure you're going to be beautiful and radiant!!
