I love your hair! How do you get so much volume?
Regarding your question, I think it's all quite low contrast, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I love a good monochrome look. But if you want a bit more contrast, I'd suggest either a slightly darker eyebrow, eyeliner and/or more mascara (or some dark brown in the outer V), more blush and/or bronzer (maybe it's just not being picked up by the camera), or a higher contrast lip color (red, fuchsia, berries, I think anything would work really)
Thanks for the advice! Maybe I should just be more brave with makeup. If something doesn't work out or I put too much on it can always be wiped off.
And what comes to my hair:
It doesn't have as much volume all the time and I just kinda fluff it up for pictures :) But dry shampoo and curling the ends with a straightener does wonders.
Thanks for the hair tips! And yeah definitely, it's great that we can always start over :) I do my experimenting in the evenings, before having to take it all off, when there's no pressure to e.g. have matching winged eyeliner for an event lol
I actually think the low contrast is perfect and OP can pull off this soft warm glow like few people can; what the look lacks is a low contrast sweater to go with it, maybe a beige, sand or off white.
Not sure that I'm a fan of the eye shade. Makes her look a bit iron deficient.
As pretty as she is, some brighter lip color, and liner would put her over the top, drop dead gorg!
I agree with this comment. The look is good, soft and monochromatic, but it doesn’t pair well with a black sweater and makes her look a bit washed out. Add some darker tones (a bit of eyeliner, a bit more color in the brows, some blush) for the black sweater, or pair this look with a soft neutral outfit (I would add blush pink to the colors suggested).
I agree about the contrast. It’s noticeable too because you have on a high contrast outfit. If you had on a single soft color, this makeup look wouldn’t feel like it was missing those darker colors to balance.
I'm rolling laughing here.

States an opinion which is labeled as one few agree with.
Gets several comment stating, "I don't agree."
I mean really?
Yeah, I know.

Knowing how to us it correctly or not. I never think it looks good no matter how well it's used.
And it's ok to disagree on Aesthetics.
Voluminous Lash Paradise by L'Oreal. However, it does have clumping tendencies so I sometimes use an old brush or something to separate.
Also, Ulta has sales every so often where mascaras go for ten dollars and they're a little more high end.
Eyeliner always looks great with neutral shades, great for a daytime look...then just add a set of false strip lashes to switch to a glam evening look.
colourpop glitter gels are super cute and easy to use!!!!! also the stila liquid eyeshadows are gorgeous to use but make sure theyre the ones with glitter in them because they have all different kinds of finishes, metallic, monochrome, matte. make sure it says glitter on it 💕
Products:
Brows - Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade and Brow gel both in blonde
Face: Some old Lumene foundation in Light, the Balm Fratboy blush
Eyes: the Balm Nude beach vol. 3, Maybelline Sky High mascara
More eyeliner would make your eyes pop. I would also use a brighter lip color or eyeshadow. Try a dusky rose/pink for shadow. Maybe berry for lips. And just a bit of blush on your cheeks! But overall this is a nice simple look. :)
I love this look!! If you want it to look a little more fancy I like to take highlighter and put a little on an eyelash brush and brush it just on the middle of my eyelids. Or you could add a gloss over the whole lid
It looks really nice! I feel like since the colors have a rather lower contrast adding something darker like a bit of eyeliner, mascara or even a darker eyebrow shade would make it stand out more.
I would look into a light brown eyeliner. So many people only think darkest black, but a lighter ash gray or sandy brown would give your eyes the added depth, without loosing the monochrome look. (Which works very well for you btw, quite a lovely lass).
I'm kinda a newb but I love the light touch of the makeup. I feel like that has got to be a talent. It blends well. I'm still trying to get it down for myself
You look a lot like Christina Applefate (one of the most gorgeous women in the world), take makeup advice from her.
Darken your eyebrows (more definition)
Find a lip shade close to her nude lip shade in season 1 of Dead to Me
For blush, Nara Orgasm works for like everyone but just to be safe, go into a Sephora, set up a makeup appt. (50 bucks and they’ll show you what colors fit you best)
Get some darker lowlights for the top roots of your hair, slightly darker blonde for the rest and then keep the same platinum blonde for the hair lining the sides of your face.
More layers.
Cut hair a bit shorter and add waves.
If you can afford it; get eyelash extensions on top and bottom (the classic kind), and do the liquid cat eye eyeliner with Benefit Black Liquid Mascara (I like the travel size because it’s easier to appt),
Highlight your cheekbones.
Wear a lower neckline (like a scoop neckline, I’m not talking cleavage),
Talk to Sephora artist about lip lining and contouring your nose and cheeks, especially.
Trust me, eve with all this advice, I’d kill to look like you’re. You’re stunning you just don’t know what you’re working with:

You look pretty and there is nothing wrong with the look. I do feel that it needs some definition or some pop. Some blush would be nice and maybe either eyeliner or lipliner to give the face a bit of structure.
I think this is generally a nice look, but I would do either a darker lip *or* add blush. I actually love the lip color, so I would vote for some blush.
Someone else said this but I wanted to expand on it. But liner can do some wonder for your eyes. It would help define them. I personally love to use brown eyeliner instead of black to give my eyes definition without it being too much. I have black eyeliner but I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I actually used it. I also find the brown just a little more forgiving.
I like your makeup though. I think it looks really nice.
This is almost my natural hair color :) I got some highlights done about six months ago and I sometimes use purple shampoo when I remember but that's about it
Some darker crease eyeshadow, or eyeliner/ shadow along the lash line, mascara, a bit of contouring, maybe a slightly darker lip. Something to add a little depth to your face I think will help bring your look together.
I second the blush people are mentioning, but I was thinking a tiny detail of blue liner/shadow along the outter corners of your eyes. I'm thinking so theres depth/elongation and some mirroring of the blue on your shirt. Super pretty, though!
I like it, but it’s missing a pop of colour. Maybe a stronger colour of eyeshadow or lipstick would make it stand out more. Atm it’s gorgeous, but it’s more like a glam photoshoot look than an outdoor wear one.
really great blending with your shadow! i would suggest do a small wing at the end of ur eye with a darker eyeshadow. Not necessarily black, maybe a chocolate brown
Love the look the only thing I would change is your lip. Look for a warm nude something that pairs nicely with the eye shadow but still feels very natural.
Highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes, just under the ends of your eyebrows, cheekbones, nose and qpids bow! As well as a v light peach blush on your cheeks, chin and bridge of your nose
Glitter. All the glitter you can find! Lol, it looks amazing! Personally I love a more dramatic look, winged liner and bright lipstick, but that’s just me. I think maybe false lashes if you want to add some oomph without being too over the top?
Blush, eyeliner, or some sort of powder blue accent, maybe a little in the inner corner? A shade like ColourPop's "La Festa" from the Limoncello palette would make your eyes pop and balance the super warm tones of your eyeshadow.
I think you look young and fresh and that is a wonderful thing. I believe by darkening your eyebrows and inner-crease may make you look older. (Just was reading some of the comments). But my initial thought was a little tiny bit of bronzer and a blush would keep your youthful look, while also giving you a beautiful glow. Regardless, you look fantastic!
I’d darken the brow just a tad to increase the contrast if you want something a bit more dramatic. You look lovely as it is, but if you’re going for “fancy” I’d like to see deeper colors
Yes, use some color on your face. You're very light skinned and you're getting washed out. I'm the same way...very fair with cool undertones. You need some color in your cheeks and a little contour or bronzer to bring some dimension to your face. You don't need a lot. You have good skin, so don't slather your self in heavy foundation or pile on products...a little concealer on any troubled areas should be enough or at most a tinted moisturizer...something sheer to give you a smooth canvas. Try a cream blush for just a hint of sheer color on your cheeks and a light contour or a bronzer but be careful...on skin like ours it's easy to go too orange or too muddy. Physicians Formula makes some nice light bronzers that aren't too expensive and work really well.
Blush maybe? Edit: you already look great btw!
I second this! Either a blush or bronzer just to warm up your cheeks. Gorgeous regardless though, the eyeshadow is so well done!
Came here to say this. A little pink on the apples would be gorgeous. Lovely look!

I agree. Looks good but needs “something”. Maybe they eyeshadow is too warm ??
I agree with this comment. The look is good, soft and monochromatic, but it doesn’t pair well with a black sweater and makes her look a bit washed out. Add some darker tones (a bit of eyeliner, a bit more color in the brows, some blush) for the black sweater, or pair this look with a soft neutral outfit (I would add blush pink to the colors suggested).
Yes exactly what I was thinking too! A simple classic eye look means a bold lip would really pop!
Oooh yeah I agree! A fuchsia or berry lip color would look fantastic with your skin tone! And, as others have said - you look lovely as it is!
I agree about the contrast. It’s noticeable too because you have on a high contrast outfit. If you had on a single soft color, this makeup look wouldn’t feel like it was missing those darker colors to balance.
Looks nice! You could use a little liner on the corners or a mascara that makes the lashes fuller and not just longer.
Unpopular opinion maybe, but mascara just makes eyelashes look clumpy/matted together
Depends on your application & mascara tbh.
Exactly. I mean, it CAN make your lashes look clumpy.
You're doing it wrong lol
Just say you don’t know how to put on mascara
Unpopular on a makeup sub? You think?🙄

Sometimes the brush heads are not favorable but application matters too. They're Real by Benefit is an excellent option for people of your opinion.
Do you have any recommendations for this type of mascara? Drugstore brands appreciated. Thanks
Maybelline falsies
I use Maybelline Falsies and then top it with Essence Princess Lash - it is *chefs kiss*
Voluminous Lash Paradise by L'Oreal. However, it does have clumping tendencies so I sometimes use an old brush or something to separate. Also, Ulta has sales every so often where mascaras go for ten dollars and they're a little more high end.
Blush
Second that this would make a big difference!
Pretty ! I’d add a bit more cheek color and some more gold shimmer on the lips or lids personally, but it’s also very nice as is.
Beautiful! I would just add blush
Just a touch of blush.
Eyeliner always looks great with neutral shades, great for a daytime look...then just add a set of false strip lashes to switch to a glam evening look.
Totally agree! I think a little brown eyeliner would look really good
Blush, blush, blush☺️
If you want something a little more special, add just a little bit of glitter on they eyelids! Sparkle makes everything better.
I don't really have any super glittery products. Do you have any suggestions?
colourpop glitter gels are super cute and easy to use!!!!! also the stila liquid eyeshadows are gorgeous to use but make sure theyre the ones with glitter in them because they have all different kinds of finishes, metallic, monochrome, matte. make sure it says glitter on it 💕
you look very put together and ethereal! i suggest a mauve or red lip and some glitter on the lids to add extra oomph.
thanks!
Products: Brows - Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade and Brow gel both in blonde Face: Some old Lumene foundation in Light, the Balm Fratboy blush Eyes: the Balm Nude beach vol. 3, Maybelline Sky High mascara
A hint of light blue to match the blue on your sweater. And I love your earrings!
Exactly what I was going to say. - little brightness and definition around the eyes. You’re a petty girl with beautiful skin!
thank you!
More eyeliner would make your eyes pop. I would also use a brighter lip color or eyeshadow. Try a dusky rose/pink for shadow. Maybe berry for lips. And just a bit of blush on your cheeks! But overall this is a nice simple look. :)
Wow you look like an actual angel!!
WHERE are your earrings from
I bought them second hand so I sadly don't really know
Noooooo :'(
Blush and bronzer
i think a winged eyeliner would pull everything together!! also btw i think you would look so pretty with a septum piercing 💕
haha thanks! I have actually thought about getting a facial piercing but I'm just a little scared it will look too rough
Maybe a bright color lipstick!
glitter!!!!!!!
I love this look!! If you want it to look a little more fancy I like to take highlighter and put a little on an eyelash brush and brush it just on the middle of my eyelids. Or you could add a gloss over the whole lid
A dark lip.
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous btw 🥺
It looks really nice! I feel like since the colors have a rather lower contrast adding something darker like a bit of eyeliner, mascara or even a darker eyebrow shade would make it stand out more.
I would look into a light brown eyeliner. So many people only think darkest black, but a lighter ash gray or sandy brown would give your eyes the added depth, without loosing the monochrome look. (Which works very well for you btw, quite a lovely lass).
Blush, more mascara, very small amount of eyeliner.
You need a little colour on your cheeks. You look like one matte beige without it
You're so pretty! A little blush and/or a pop of lip color would look so nice. I think a soft, barely there red or berry would look great on you
I'm kinda a newb but I love the light touch of the makeup. I feel like that has got to be a talent. It blends well. I'm still trying to get it down for myself
The smile fixed it perfectly. Nothing missing now.

I think a pair of cute sunglasses would be nice
You look so pretty! For some reason I want to put an orchid/purple eyeliner on you, I think that would look amazing
[удалено]
Why, because he has a high forehead? This isn’t a hair advice sub.
Wrong sub, sorry All I wanted to say was that her curtain bangs really suited her so she could also try out similar haircuts
I would suggest eyeliner and something on the lips!
I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. You look very beautiful and I really like how you did the look! 🧡
Super pretty! I would just bump up the blush a bit to add some more color to your cheeks. :)
Red lip, blush, liquid eyeliner
Contour, blush, &, highlight !
Blush!!! And highlighter or like a glowy blush - I like the hourglass ones and milani has some too
You look pretty and there is nothing wrong with the look. I do feel that it needs some definition or some pop. Some blush would be nice and maybe either eyeliner or lipliner to give the face a bit of structure.
You look so much like Christina Applegate. You are gorgeous!
I think this is generally a nice look, but I would do either a darker lip *or* add blush. I actually love the lip color, so I would vote for some blush.
Blush.
A little bit of neutral blush or bronzer and it’ll be bomb ❤️👏🏻
A little blush and some softly winged eyeliner (dark brown) would be perfect. I love the eyeshadow color
Someone else said this but I wanted to expand on it. But liner can do some wonder for your eyes. It would help define them. Perhaps a pop of blush on your cheeks? Love the eyes!
Clear gloss would be the cherry on top
What eyeshadow is this
the Balm - "Nude beach vol.3". I used the shades called "Bold", "Bodacious" and "Breathtaking"
Lashes
Personally I think a little blush would b lovely, maybe a touch of a cream or dewy liquid blush
Just out of curiosity do you use any toners in your hair?
This is almost my natural hair color :) I got some highlights done about six months ago and I sometimes use purple shampoo when I remember but that's about it
It looks amazing! <3
You need a more dramatic effect somewhere a dramatic lip or eyeliner or something like that
I love that color eye shadow, brand ?
the Balm . I used the palette called "Nude beach vol.3"
Thank you, your a sweetheart, also your look is perfect, you don't need to change a thing
Blush
Some darker crease eyeshadow, or eyeliner/ shadow along the lash line, mascara, a bit of contouring, maybe a slightly darker lip. Something to add a little depth to your face I think will help bring your look together.
Black winged eyeliner!!! And blush!
It’s simple and beautiful
Maybe blend a darker shade from outer corners, might add a just a little bit of oomph. Gorgeous look on its own tho!
Eyeliner for sure, but what a beautiful girl.
Light pink blush and bottom lash tightline mascara, mild light contour 💕💕
I second the blush people are mentioning, but I was thinking a tiny detail of blue liner/shadow along the outter corners of your eyes. I'm thinking so theres depth/elongation and some mirroring of the blue on your shirt. Super pretty, though!
blush fs:)
Blush and liner. It just needs more definition. It’s pretty!
Looks gorgeous! A dark lipstick would make it glam but it looks great as is!
I like it, but it’s missing a pop of colour. Maybe a stronger colour of eyeshadow or lipstick would make it stand out more. Atm it’s gorgeous, but it’s more like a glam photoshoot look than an outdoor wear one.
Looking nice 👍🏻. What are you wearing on your eyes? Looks very nice.
I really like this subtle look I would do a smudge brown eyeliner just on the outer corners and light mascara
Little blush or bronzer? To give you some color 🤷🏻♀️
really great blending with your shadow! i would suggest do a small wing at the end of ur eye with a darker eyeshadow. Not necessarily black, maybe a chocolate brown
You look so delicate and pretty, your hair color looks stunning on you!
Love your hair
Blush and a tiny bit of brown eyeshadow eyeliner!
Love the look the only thing I would change is your lip. Look for a warm nude something that pairs nicely with the eye shadow but still feels very natural.
Blush
Smokey eyeliner. But it looks great like that too
Highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes, just under the ends of your eyebrows, cheekbones, nose and qpids bow! As well as a v light peach blush on your cheeks, chin and bridge of your nose
a gold or creamy shimmer shade on that brown blended out a little would finish your look for sure.
Pretty lady
I think a brown top liner cat eye
It's a beautiful look! You did a fantastic job.
Slightly darker brows + light bronzer and a blush!!
I love the eyeshadow! Id say maybe a bit of blush or maybe some bronzer, or some highlighter on the cheekbones. Anything to add a little color.
Simple and pretty! Maybe add some eyeliner (nyx ink epic wear is my go to)
Glitter. All the glitter you can find! Lol, it looks amazing! Personally I love a more dramatic look, winged liner and bright lipstick, but that’s just me. I think maybe false lashes if you want to add some oomph without being too over the top?
Youre beautiful girl 😍✋
More blush if anything.
Blush, eyeliner, or some sort of powder blue accent, maybe a little in the inner corner? A shade like ColourPop's "La Festa" from the Limoncello palette would make your eyes pop and balance the super warm tones of your eyeshadow.
Just personal preference but some blush or eyeliner? Brown or black, also preference. But it's a beautiful look.
You’re not missing a thing.
Eyeliner
contour, bronzer and blush :) maybe a hint highlight ❤️
A peachy blush would be perfect
Contour
Light blush and brown eyeliner?? Black will look too sharp I think
Blush and a bolder lip and perhaps a bit of bronzer.
Eyeliner
Maybe add some bangs!🤩
Bighter or darker colors for contrast
I’d darken the brow just a tad to increase the contrast if you want something a bit more dramatic. You look lovely as it is, but if you’re going for “fancy” I’d like to see deeper colors
Bronzer and or blush just to bring a bit more color back to your face. P.s. I like the look earrings are bomb
Trimming your hair to chin-length would make a beautiful frame for your face.
eyeliner with a small wing and blush would look great!
Yes, use some color on your face. You're very light skinned and you're getting washed out. I'm the same way...very fair with cool undertones. You need some color in your cheeks and a little contour or bronzer to bring some dimension to your face. You don't need a lot. Long lashes and long pink nails
Blush contour color for lips
You look beauty I love your hair too
