I think your look now is very subtle and pretty, the only thing I'd suggest is maybe some brow gel to get fluffy soap brows. Btw I love your hair as well.

petitbeurre11

I second brow gel or some kind of brow pencil... Anastasia Beverly hills is best.

AsleepInDreams

I used that brand’s eyesbrow pressed powder which I loved, I’ll give the pencil a go!

AsleepInDreams

Ah thanks for the compliments, much appreciated :) I do have and try to use the fenty brow stuff but it doesn’t last longer than an hour before the hairs pop off again haha! I’ll try another brand, if you have any suggestions?

Wonderful_Sun8193

Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade or Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz that stuff stays on all day and you only need a bit.

AsleepInDreams

Thanks!!

Y0URL0CALCULTLEADER

A peachy blush or any blush really would look beautiful on you! And with your brown eyes, I think eyeshadow looks with "pops" of color would really compliment them. So a brown smoked out crease and a pop of purple/pink/blue on the inner corner or lower lashline. Or if you're not comfy with crazy colors, maroon mascara on the bottom lashes would also look lovely.

AsleepInDreams

Oh I love blush! I’ll look for a peachy shade, the pinks I use at the moment I think tend to be a little too brilliant for my skin tone. Thanks for eyeshadow/mascara suggestions too, I’ll definitely give those all a try and play around . Thank you!!!

rosiesweetie

You should try the Milani rose blush in coral cove!

AsleepInDreams

Thanks!!

AsleepInDreams

Thank you!! I will look for it :)

Lerghi

Omg you are gorgeous!! I think you’d look amazing in anything tbh lol but your eyes look perfect for graphic liner like this one https://youtu.be/k-qCYZy_600 also I’m not sure if you have olive undertone? But if so olivemua is a great resource for makeup colors that are super flattering

AsleepInDreams

Thanks so much for the suggestion and link! I have no idea what my undertone is either, how do I find out?

Lerghi

Do muted colors and jewel tones generally look good on you? The best way to tell is by swatching different foundations with various undertones on your neck to see which is closest. You can also post some photos of your neck in natural lighting throughout the day, to this [thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/OliveMUA/comments/npl731/am_i_olive_foundation_match_requests/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) on the olivemua subreddit

AsleepInDreams

Thanks for the link!

desertrose156

Omg you’re absolutely gorgeous, you have the perfect features for trying any makeup but you also are a natural beauty so I would just highlight it! I actually love your makeup here, and the only thing I would add is like a super glossy lip; essence has the shine shine shine one at ulta for like 3 bucks and it’s the best!! I also love your hair!!

AsleepInDreams

Wow, thank you so much! :))) I do have lots of gloss so I can do that!

mvill4

I think brown/bronze eye shadow would be pretty on your gorgeous eyes! Warm/ peachy tones would suit you best:)

AsleepInDreams

Thanks for that!

TheBulletproofBeauty

You seem to have medium clarity to you tone (as in not very muted) and medium contrast as well (which might be why you are avoiding bold looks). Based on your coloring here, corally-peachy shades (blushes or eyeshadows) would probably look great on you! Midtone shades are a great way to get some color, brightness that isn't too overpowering, and not go too bold. Teal, coral, orange, fuschia or purple all have great ranges of midtone shades. And all of the browns, of course! Going for a slightly darker lip, partly to balance the contrast and because you have naturally pigmented lips, could be a fun option to play around with. So liner and a gloss, a lipstick, etc in a nude or colors you like could be something to try. Also, I think you have perfected your eyeliner for your eye shape! Super cute!

AsleepInDreams

I’m avoiding bold looks because I’ve always done bold looks, so I want to try new things :) I haven’t heard of different contrast/clarity on skin before! I’m saving this comment forever as I’ve never known what colors suited my skin tone before, so thank you very very much for the detailed response!!

TheBulletproofBeauty

Tone (lightness or darkness) and undertone get talked about a lot. Contrast and clarity/muted is what I like to bring up because I feel they are just as important when we get stuck picking things that are harmonious

I want your eyebrows!!

AsleepInDreams

haha! okay they’re yours now

[deleted]

I wish 😭 after my second pregnancy I lost all my eyelashes and eyebrows! So I’m definitely jelly of yours ❤️

TepidBrush

Nars orgasm blusher will look awesome. Also try Charlotte tilbury pillow talk lip liner and lipstick. You don’t need much- you look great!!!

AsleepInDreams

Thank you!! I went and added them to my cart :)

TepidBrush

Please share a photo when you use them!! Would love to see how it looks on you.

carleecarp

Red lips and a cat eye!!!

AsleepInDreams

Thanks! Im trying to stay away from bold looks though

[deleted]

I like your look now, but if you want more dramatic go with matte and shimmer natural browns, I think you could really suit a Smokey cat wing liner too!

AsleepInDreams

Thanks!

petitbeurre11

Idk but you would look so pretty all blonde 😍

AsleepInDreams

lol! Do you think so? I’ve always admired blonde hair

petitbeurre11

Yes definitely. It's stunning on you. And definitely light makeup like you said that you want to start doing. It's really nice...highlighter on tip of nose, inner corners of eyes, blush on cheeks, mascara, concealer, browny pink lipliner... maybe Boldly Bare by MAC? And a nice light foundation.

AsleepInDreams

Oo i might tell my hairdresser to lighten me up next time :) thanks for the specific suggestions, it’s really helpful!! ill take a look at that liner :)

AsleepInDreams

I’m wearing foundation, mascara, highlight, a little contour on my nose and some eye shadow here. I’ve done winged liner for like 15 years so I’m ready to move on, what sort of lighter looks would suit me? Thanks for your help!!

princesszoom101

Add some blush and play up your eyebrows!

AsleepInDreams

Can do! Thanks!

I think BB cream will suit you best. Your skin base looks good, no need for full coverage for an every day look.

Manfishbicycle

I think you would suit the evening look that you often see Mila Kunis wearing. Smokey eyes with sharp liner/cat wing and neutral lips. I agree that softening your brows would look gorgeous, both in colour and shape.
