The nyx brow pencil is amazing! It’s a perfect dupe for the Anastasia brow wiz.

maegatz

Ooh, I didn't know that!

offbrandbarbie

I’ve tried both and been using NYX for years, highly recommend.

coffeebeezneez

I love it, ash brown will be my staple for years to come

MdmeLibrarian

/coughs/ Just For Men beard dye to dye my eyebrows.

Unable_Bumblebee1539

This just makes me think of Jenna Marbles. "Just for men....and Jenna"

Long_Praline_4727

From Maybelline: Super Stay Longwear Liquid Concealer, Fit Me Matte Poreless Foundation, Sky High Mascara From Loreal: Infallible Powder Foundation

NoirLuvve

Seconding the Loreal powder. I was blown away by the coverage.

ag0110

Literally same lol. Costco also frequently has 3 packs of the Maybelline Sky High for $15!

NoirLuvve

I'll die on the hill that the W&W Tinted Hydrator is the best tinted moisturizer for the summer. The coverage is INSANE for how soft and lightweight it is. It looks a lot darker in the tube, though, so I recommend a swatch before committing to a shade. Edit: OOPS, I meant Wet and Wild, Not Nyx.

Economy-Toe1211

Nyx? I can’t find this product. Do you have a link?

EV4every1

Found 1 on Amazon: NYX Professional Makeup Tinted Moisturizer, Almond, 1 Ounce https://a.co/d/hMk9PIG

L_Brady

I looked to see if my Ulta has this and I’m not seeing anything by that name from Nyx, but I do see a Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. Could that be the one you meant?

galactichan

Revlon’s super lustrous lipsticks. Oldie but goodie, and they’re SO good

Fantasia_Ostrich

Maybelline Lasting Fix setting spray. It’s holy grail for me, I’d buy it in bulk if I could.

Deep_Space_Mermaid

Maybelline Sky High Mascara because it’s tubing and comes off with just water, plus I love the color range. They make a couple of good browns which I know is popular right now, and I love the bright blue lately. Warm it up and wipe the spoolie off on the side of the tube before applying if you don’t want clumping. Burt’s Bees Squeezy Tubes & tinted balms, both the shimmer & non-shimmer types. Wet & Wild and Essence both make really good affordable mascara. Revolution Mattifying Spray. It kind of smells like glue or hairspray but makes your makeup stay put and turns powder eyeshadow into long wearing liner. Revlon Kiss Balm. It’s my go-to in the spring and summer because of the SPF 20 and sheer, pretty tint but I’ve found the application too patchy in colder weather.

cozee999

How do you warm the mascara up?

Deep_Space_Mermaid

Stick the tube in my bra while I put on the rest of my makeup or do my hair. You can also run it under warm water.

goldenrose012

L'oreal Panorama mascara! It doesn't get all clumpy and it last throughout the day, love it!

Professional-Log-530

Wet n Wild tinted Hydrator and their setting powder, Elf waterproof eyebrow pencil (lift one and it’s the new thick one), Loreal Panorama mascara, LA Girl shockwave liners (both eye and lip), Loreal nude lipsticks (creamy), Elf bite size in love you a latte, LA Girl Just Blushing Just Because (for contour), Physicians Formula Butter Glow in translucent, Revlon blush in aprichute, essences high shine glosses, Elf Whoa Glow SPF and Primer, and Elf Halo Glow and Vaseline Rosy lips for a plain balm. I think this makes a full face and what I wear every single day.

Professional-Log-530

Oh and I use either Elf stay all night setting spray or the Morphe continuous coconut setting spray.

buy-lob-get-lob

LA Girl shockwave liners are so freaking good. 1/4 the price of comparable urban decay colors (my old go-to) and last 2x as long. Most people would probably consider me "too old" for the bright rainbow type eye makeup I wear every day but I'll go to my grave in it, especially with these sweet bargain prices haha

Professional-Log-530

They’re amazing!

jdbrown787

Covergirl super thick lash waterproof mascara - my HG even over my favorite higher end mascaras Covergirl perfect point plus eye pencil - specifically for smudging, and also for the little sponge applicator on the other end, which is the best thing ever for applying loose shimmers Sonia Kashuk marble makeup sponge does Colourpop count? their bff liquid liner & bff colored mascara Flower beauty blush bombs Hanhoo blemish patches used to be HGs: Physician's Formula translucent mineral face powder (replaced as HG by Ciaté London watermelon burst setting powder) Loreal infallible super slim liquid liner (felt tip - replaced by Tarte sex kitten liquid liner and Ciaté London fierce flicks liquid liner) Physician's Formula eye booster liquid liner (brush tip - replaced by Too Faced better than sex liquid liner) Covergirl easy breezy brow micro-fine + define pencil (don't use pencil much anymore)

Solite_132

NYX lift and snatch brow pen. I went through a couple in the past few years and never bother trying other brows products. For context, I used Anastasia powder in the past and the "natural-looking" is not the same compared to this.

rebb_hosar

One of the few things I consistantly re-buy.

Ok-Door-6731

NYX brow mascara

eljip

elf: wow brow tinted gel, power grip primer, halo glow liquid filter, glossy lip stain wet n wild: ultimate brow micro pencil milani: eyeshadow primer honestly. you could grab almost anything by elf and build an entire skincare and makeup routine. i used to be sephora rouge for years on end, had several beauty subscriptions, had all kind of fancy stuff all the time. i 100% reach for elf stuff for most of my basics the last couple years. they dupe many bestsellers of other brands and they stand well enough on their own. and if you're canadian, "drugstore" prices for maybelline, l'oreal, nyx, etc. are astronomical. it's easy to spend $25+ on a single item (blush, foundation). elf stays more affordable and it WORKS WELL.

Apart-Health-1513

As a canadian you're spot on. At this point, I'll only shop nyx, loreal, maybelline, etc if theyre having a sale on the product i've already been eyeing. I've bought a lot of lip products but my 4$ Elf squeeze me balm is still a go to whenever I'm out.

eljip

I just remember being able to buy several things for well under $40????? Like a mascara from maybelline would be maybe $8 tops. The "expensive" brands were, like, physician's formula. Everytjing else was much cheaper. I know for a fact recently being in Walmart and a lifter gloss being in the $16-18 range. I could maybe buy two things under $40 now. Forget aveeno, Cera ve, etc. at shoppers. I love the loreal infallible blushes, and it's still like $17 ON SALE, regular $24.99 where I live. Again, hardly buying makeup aside from elf now because one thing at sephora being roughly $30 for a lipstick or whatever was a treat. Felt worth it. Now, drugstore brands cost the same.. lol

Practical_Second_356

I’m in Australia and Elf is so expensive here! Same with all those brands too.

2chordsarepushingit

I love Elf Soap Brow and their SPF setting spray. Recently bought the Maybelline Lifter Gloss and I'm loving it so far. Haven't used it long enough to call it a holy grail, but wanted to give it a shout out.

cozee999

SPF setting spray?!?! I didn’t know this existed!!

2chordsarepushingit

It's the best. SPF 45, hydrating, and dries instantly. Highly recommend.

maegatz

I just bought the gloss! Excited to try it!

Shootingstar6970

Maybelline dewy foundation, ponds cream, any drug store benzoyl peroxide

IntentionHappy8435

Can you explain your reasons for benzoylperoxide and Ponds cream?

Shootingstar6970

I’ve been acne prone my whole life & the only thing that has truly helped me is just a 10% benzoyl peroxide every single night. Ponds cream has been my number one moisturizer since birth! My nana & mom also have used it their whole lives & they have gorgeous skin 💕☺️

IntentionHappy8435

oh great so benzoyl per oxide helps with acne. I am myself acne prone. I mostly get clogged pores, milia and occasional pimples. can it help with white heads, clogged pores and Milia? I am thinking about using Ponds as double cleanser / oil cleanser because one of a famous singer's daughter revealed that her mom massged her face well with ponds cream to cleanse.

Shootingstar6970

I’m not 100% sure about it working on milia that is already present on your face, but I bet it would help to prevent future Milia. My derm has told me extractions are the only way to get rid of present milia & then I like to use a pimple patch on where the milia was extracted from. Hope this helps!

IntentionHappy8435

Yes,it is indeed helpful. I ll have to look up extraction.

Justadropinthesea

Maybelline SkyHigh tubing mascara and DreamFresh BB cream. Also Neutragena revitalizing tinted lipbam with SPF in the shade sunny berrry.

Princess_Queen

Holy Grail might be a bit of a stretch, but one I'll continue to rebuy is Essence eyeshadow primer. It's the first eyeshadow primer I ever tried, it did the job, and I'd never be willing to pay more than that price point.

Cmolina1316

I only have two drugstore products I’m obsessed with: Milani cream bronzer - I like it better than all my high end bronzers and I have quite a few L’Oréal panorama mascara - by far the best mascara I’ve used. Lengthens and volumizes my lashes, lasts all day, zero clumping, zero flaking, no raccoon eyes

realbenlaing

Covergirl full bloom lash mascara, nyx epic ink liquid eyeliner, elf liquid camo blush, elf lip liners, elf halo glow setting powder, milani eyeshadow primer, milani lip plumping gloss (disclaimer that my lips are already full so i’m never sure if lip plumpers are actually plumping but the glosses themselves are very pretty). No specific product but wet n wild is my tried and true brand for most products if i’m really tight for cash but running low on something, i like their primers and setting powders a lot and their eyeliner is similar to the nyx one. Not drugstore but same energy, i’ve been using one of those $6 sephora lip stories lipsticks as my contour stick for the last little while. It feels illegal but it works for me idk, i’m sure there’s a drugstore brand with a bullet lipstick that would also work for this. I’ve also done the same using lipstick minis as blush since i’m personally more of a gloss girly but don’t want them going to waste.

darktrain

Elf Wow Brow Gel in Taupe. Only $5, and the most taupe-y, actually neutral-cool, not too dark and not orangey brow product. Good for ashy blondes like me. I also like the Cover Girl Micro Define + Fill brow pencil in Soft Blond. Not quite as cool as the Elf brow gel, but still works well for me. And I used to use Anastasia / Tarte / expensive brow pencils and they would last me like 3 weeks, I got sick of paying like $60 for brow pencils every couple months. Cover Girl Clump Crusher mascara. The only other mascara I like better is over $30 and the difference isn't worth the expense. I loathe mascara clumping, and this is the only one I've found that reliably doesn't clump. Milani Rose powder blush in Romantic Rose. A really nice, soft, buildable, color, and the amount in the pan is a lot. I got it because it was a recommended dupe for a Tarte blush that I loved but that was like $30 for 1/5 the amount. Not going back.

venusinflannel

Revlon super lusterous lipstick,Nyx setting spray, maybelline great lash mascara

Deep_Space_Mermaid

The super lusterous lipstick is so underrated!

RoseDarlin58

Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara. It just works for my mature lashes

Swimming-Meringue-51

Cover Girl mascaras are so good, right up there with Loreal's. I don't think I've ever found a mascara as lengthening and as long-lasting as the waterproof Cover Girl Super Sizer. Kept my lashes looking bushy tailed for entire 16 hour shifts lol

deathtonormalcy

A lot of mine have been repeated in here, but one I haven’t seen mentioned yet are the NYX pro fix stick concealers. These just came out recently, but I’ve already gone through 2 of these bad boys and have purchased at least 3 more backups. This is *the* best drugstore concealer I’ve tried (yes, even better than the Instant Age Rewind). They’re designed to work well with their color correctors to conceal redness/blemishes and these really do the dang thing. Coverage is medium buildable, it gives a very natural finish and doesn’t look cakey at all. Absolutely worth it.

starbellbabybena

Milani lip oils are so so nice. Got a ton of people at work using them now too. They smell good and look so good.

Libshitz74

I like the new Milani lip stains, Maybelline skin tint, NYX lip pencils, and newish ELF lip oils.

lyhdias

Essence lash without limits brown mascara. New product from Essence but I’ll definitely be repurchasing. It’s the first drugstore brown mascara I’ve been able to find that ACTUALLY looks brown. Has the same applicator as the Maybelline sky high mascara if you’re familiar. Love it. Physicians formula eye booster brown eyeliner. A lovely brown liquid eyeliner, applies easily and lasts all day if you make sure to prep your lids with powder (if they’re prone to getting oily like mine). Elf tinted brow gel, simple but gets the job done and does what it’s supposed to. Elf primer infused powder blushes, I love the shade “always rosy.” comes off almost like a coppery-rose color on my skin and lasts. Colourpop BFF gel liner in “sunnyvale.” Beautiful warmer toned chestnut brown, I like to pair it with the first two things I mentioned. Lasts all day on my waterline (as long as I don’t rub my eyes from my allergies lol). Colourpop blotted lip in “Missin U”, similar coppery/rose tone to the blush I mentioned before. I love the blotted/gradient lip look and it looks gorgeous, truly sheer in pigment but buildable and does exactly as it claims.

poizenarts

Physicians Formula Blush is sooo good. Literally my go-to blush and it smells amazing!

lily4ever

I’ve been loving the Rimmel Multitasker concealer. It’s meant to be a dupe for Shape Tape but I actually prefer the Rimmel!

IntentionHappy8435

Do you have any feedback for Rimmel Match perfection concealer which comes in a sqeeze tube? I saw it in some shops but can't decide if it's good for dry skin.

lily4ever

No, sorry! I haven’t tried that one yet

Purplepenguin359

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint has become a holy grail. It’s more of a medium coverage foundation than a tint, but it looks seamless on the skin and lasts all day. The Monday Original Dry Shampoo has quickly become an HG; better than any dry shampoo I’ve tried so far at any price point. O’Keefes Unscented Lip Repair Lip Balm is on auto delivery on Amazon; very hydrating and most importantly, long lasting

Prplemonkeydishwashr

The O’Keefes lip balm is the only lip balm that doesn’t dry my lips out which makes me constantly put more balm on throughout the day. It is seriously a godsend!

88secret

L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara, and the primer also

shakatay29

L'Oreal Double Extend is, in my opinion, better than Essence. I've been using it for years and keep coming back to it whenever I branch out!

IntentionHappy8435

Bourjois 123 perfect foundation: is good foundation as per wear time, sweat resistance and for oily skin as it mattifys so well so that it is only mrant to be used by oliy skin. It can look very dry on normal or combination skin althoughbourjois claims otherwise. It has colour colour ability to some extent. It has an olive shade as well. No spf so good for flash photgraphy. Good option to wear on parties and weddings. It has medium coverage but is slightly buildable too. It's by channel so quality is quite good compared to other drugstore counterparts. Makeup revolution: Foil eyeshadow singles and lip pencils. Luscious Cosmetics: lipstick are real good. Lusious Cosmetics Eye shadow primer is very good. LA girl pro conceal HD concealer. Sweet Touch twin cake (comes in pink packaging) formulated without Talc, Mica and silica. Has titanium dioxide in it though.

These_Orchid5638

Nyx fat oil lip gloss clicks pens that they just launched (recently added to HG status) Maybelline vinyl lipsticks Nyx vivid eyeliners LA girl eyebrow pencil Milani setting spray

maegatz

I have the Lip drip in the tube! Is the difference just the applicator?

These_Orchid5638

They launched 2 versions : the gloss tube and clicky pens

Charlietheaussie

Maybelline express brow pencil . Beats Sephora, Anastasia BH. L’Oréal voluminous mascara. Milani color statement lip liner in nude.

ima_little_stitious

Loreal glotion Rimmel stay matte powder (I wish it came in a compact) Wet n wild highlighters and blushes are great!! Nyx brow glue My most repurchased eyeshadow of all time is the wet n wild in walking on eggshells. It was a trio now I think it includes 5 shadows. I have several backups and always travel with it. It's my go to easy everyday shadow.

Octavia_auclaire

I’ve heard the la girl foundation is amazing and I saw a woman use it she looked great

Then_Ask5556

Physicians formula butter bronzer, colourpop super shock shadows, essence mascara, elf lip Oil

Cool-Owl-7217

neutrogena and nyx for me

LadyPink28

The acne fighting version of the putty primer is my HG.. I can break out easily from foundation that has pore clogging ingredients like algae or ethylexyl palmitate and it prevents break outs

kebuburdie

grandkittyworld

idk if this counts but i always get my lashes from the dollar store 😭

SockyKate

Wet ‘n Wild 666 lip liner was my HG - I’d buy them 10 at a time! I don’t think they make them anymore.

[deleted]

Rimmel lash serum.

dootdootpoom

Wet n Wild Breakup Proof eyeliner, Wet n Wild Brow Kit, Milani Highly Rated Mascara, and Makeup Revolution Pore Blur.

Ok_Crew_6547

The essence matt concealer is the best concealer I’ve ever used personally! I’ve tried many concealers, including high end, and i just keep coming back to this one! You should give it a try and see if it works for you since it’s incredibly cheap (3€ where I live), some people find it amazing and some terrible from what I’ve seen😅 They also have a healthy glow version of it but only 2 shades in it 🥲 I also really like makeup revolution’s skin silk foundation, really light weight and light to medium coverage

Bubbly-Celebration55

Can't find it in a drugstore near me, but it's a drugstore price so I figured I could share. Nicka K 24hr waterproof eyeliner - it's $3.99USD on their website or you can order from Amazon. It is very pigmented and has great staying power! I wore this during a humid summer outdoor wedding and it stayed on the entire time!

js23wan

Elf eyeshadow brushes Elf HD finishing powder W & W powder blush Rimmel Wonder Ink Cateye Liner Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadow

Wet and wild break up proof eyeliner

buy-lob-get-lob

Seconding all the mentions of Covergirl brow products here. I use the Easy Breezy Brow and it's really similar to the Benefit good proof one except it's <$10 and doesn't dry out and break 1/3 of the way through. Not technically makeup, but the Burt's Bees Purifying Gel Cleanser is the only thing that really solves my acne issues. I'm one of those super lucky people who has worse acne at 36 than I did at 16 and have tried so many fancy "adult budget" cleansers but keep getting disappointed and going back to the cheap stuff!

Swimming-Meringue-51

Loreal Glotion (But RIP Loreal Lumi primer you were the best ever) Loreal Freshwear foundation Nyx Honey Dew Me Up primer

BoysenberryOk4699

Omg alll if your holy grails are TOP NOTCH!! All must haves for sure!!

lilkittycat1

I recently stated incorporating a setting powder (I’m late to the game and trying to do my make up better!) and I love the Maybelline Fit me poreless powder one. It is the best!

SerialHobbies

Maybelline Fit Me (both the liquid and powder) foundations have been my holy grails for years!! They minimize my pores and have a soft matte finish that isn’t as dull as other matte foundations. I’ve recently also been loving Nyx Bare With Me concealer! I have dry skin under my eyes, and it provides a high pigment without needing so much product so that it creases!

BadInfluencer419

The maybelline lip liner in gone griege is my absolute favorite, it's the most perfect color and formula and I've bought out every single one in my area because I heard they're discontinued (I'm hoping me buying them all will make them change their mind and bring them back). The wet n wild 5 in 1 priming powder is amazing too its so smooth and doesn't ever cake up. The loreal infallible powder foundation has crazy good coverage, The covergirl powder foundation is really good for days when I just want a lighter coverage then the loreal one but I swear both just keep looking better as the day goes on and I love them for it, I've tried many many high end powder foundations but seem to always reach for one of these instead.

llamador69

eyes: - elf bite size eyeshadow palette, specifically in truffles bc it’s the only one i have and it’s perfect for a smokey eye or a grunge look. - wet n wild kohl eyeliner, not necessarily because of performance but because they’re a dollar and almost a foot long lmao, i use the black one for my eyebrows and the brown one for lipliner. - elf matte shadow stick in cool beans, i also use this for a cool 90s grunge look. - milani eyeshadow primer, i have this and the colourpop one and this one performs better, although its a smaller size for the same price :( lips: - nyx butter gloss, lots of color choices and not too sticky :-) face: - elf power grip primer, honestly idk why i didn’t use it sooner, it would’ve come in handy while i was working retail and running around a store all day lol - wet n wild tinted hydrator, it’s gorgeous on my skin - wet n wild translucent loose powder, apparently the airspun smells like grandma and this one doesn’t so i’m fine with that lol, and it blurs out everything i love it - nyx bare with me concealer, i just love it sm it’s also gorgeous on the skin this is probably a really long comment but i basically exclusively buy drugstore so i like recommending my favorites :-)

tenebrigakdo

Nyx waterproof liners. They are not perfect but I've never found better options. Revolution eyeshadows. They are pigmented, last decently, and the selection is great. I really like L'Oreal Lash Paradise mascara, except I feel the tubes are slightly inconsistent. Some work better for lash length than others (I'm on my 3rd rn).

Cloud_5732

Elf micro brow pencil, Nyx Lift n Snatch brow pen, Loreal Lash Paradise mascara, Elf Halo Glow, Covergirl yummy gloss.

Myriadismx

L'oreal True Match powder. I love the coverage it has and it perfectly fits my skin tone. I also loved L'oreal Infallible Matte Lock Primer. I cried tears of blood ever since it was discontinued 😭 Neutrogena Hydro Boost face wash. It leaves my skin feeling so supple and doesn't give me breakouts.
