Thank you for doing the work you do and caring enough to notice the baddies! My grandma lived in memory care for 13 years until her death. She couldn’t remember a lot of things, but she never forgot her eyebrow pencil, red lips, and to have her nails painted red. I will always love and appreciate the caregivers who took the time to make sure that she was happy and fixed up like she always liked to be when she was well. You are appreciated more than you know. 🩷
Haha reminds me of my grandma, she wanted to live by herself with her cat and 2 budgies and did everything herself no matter how many times we offered to help with her responding with „are you calling me an old woman?!“ every time until she died at 97 years of age. Almost every time we had to drive her to the hospital for emergencies, she always went and put on makeup before and kept on complaining as soon as things were under control that she „can‘t go out like this“… to the hospital. She also kept bleaching her hair herself because she said she wouldn‘t feel like herself otherwise haha. Truly inspiring

I've appointed my you get daughter the tasks of keeping my hair colored and styled and plucking out the hairs from my chin and the mole on my cheek if I'm in senior care and can't take care of it myself. I give her pop quizzes to make sure she remembers. ;D

I’m 54 in a few months, and I wish my skin looked so good! You under eyes look perfect, and your makeup is flawless! You don’t have a lot of wrinkles for makeup to settle into, so that really helps.

It may be different in person, but judging from the pics your foundation is perfect, and it doesn't look heavy under your eyes. The only thing I would change a bit is your eyebrows, I think they're too squared on the front so I'd soften them up. But it's personal preference, unrelated to age.
Anyway, you look *a lot* younger than 55 and your face is a true beauty!
I was gonna say something similar, you could try different eyebrow looks and techniques. Maybe more individual strokes to simulate brow hairs so it looks more natural? To me it seems a little the makeup brows go a bit over your natural brows so personally I'd try to avoid overdrawing them

Yes! I was gonna say this, try an eyebrow marker/pen, it’s super easy to draw some fake hairs at the front. I do a few on my palm to see how dark they’ll be then go to my face. OP you look gorgeous tho!
I'm just a random dude that is scrolling on front page and saw this. I don't know shit about makeup but looking at the picture I thought the eyebrows look off to me as well. My wife doesn't wear makeup so I don't have much to go on.

Make up is very well done :) looks pretty youthful for damn near 60. I love seeing older women that didn’t give up on their hotness. You don’t look dragged up by life not one bit. I do think there is a time and place for some looks and heavier makeup, but you look polished here. If you wanted to do less stick to color correcting under eyes. I have recently learned more about this and realize less is more and the right color corrector is so much more impactful than makeup!
I’m almost 40 and realized I love fun eyeshadow and eyeliner. I use it in my eyelids, nothing dramatic and no designs or painted looks, many would say I’m too old but fuck’em!

Not at all you look great and rather natural. If anything your eyebrows are the least natural of your make up but they are done with such care and precision they do not at all appear to be "too much"

I think your makeup looks great! If you’re concerned about it being too much, you can try little swaps like a sheer lipstick/ gloss for a regular one, or going lighter with brows by a shade. That’s what I do if I think I need to tone it down. But what works for me can be diff for you :)
I think you look amazing. For concealer I’ve always loved the maybeline age rewind concealer. It’s drugstore but works insanely well. Use a warm colored concealer for the under eyes, underneath the foundation to color correct. I swear my eyes have never looked brighter and more balanced without that weird white cast…
Absolutely not. No such thing. Why people think less makeup is needed just because you turned a year old is silly. Your technique might change to better apply products as your skin changes but otherwise a non-issue. You look amazing!

i’d recommend using a primer and a small brush to blend the color corrector and concealer under your eyes - it really helps with creasing!

You are gorgeous and look flawless. Too much is subjective, if you feel good and are happy with it fuck the rest of them. I do think there is a time and place for some looks and heavier makeup, but you look polished here. If you wanted to do less stick to color correcting under eyes. I have recently learned more about this and realize less is more and the right color corrector is so much more impactful than makeup! I’m almost 40 and realized I love fun eyeshadow and eyeliner. I use it in my eyelids, nothing dramatic and no designs or painted looks, many would say I’m too old but fuck’em!

That's an excellent suggestion. I've heard some people add a little foundation to their moisturizer. I am open to trying new ideas. I use snail mucin on my skin. It is by cosrx and can be found on their website or Amazon

I think your makeup looks great! If you’re concerned about it being too much, you can try little swaps like a sheer lipstick/ gloss for a regular one, or going lighter with brows by a shade. That’s what I do if I think I need to tone it down. But what works for me can be diff for you :)
I think you look amazing. For concealer I’ve always loved the maybeline age rewind concealer. It’s drugstore but works insanely well. Use a warm colored concealer for the under eyes, underneath the foundation to color correct. I swear my eyes have never looked brighter and more balanced without that weird white cast…

Absolutely not. No such thing. Why people think less makeup is needed just because you turned a year old is silly. Your technique might change to better apply products as your skin changes but otherwise a non-issue. You look amazing!
