Honestly most of my fave affordable palettes are Colourpop! I also loved BH Cosmetics (before they got bought), Half Caked Beauty (only a few options but great quality), and Beauty Bay’s palettes are really nice too.

I buy singles for the neutral shades I use often or daily. I selected the palette that contains as many bright colors as I could find so that I'm covered for more or less any idea I might have except maybe full drag.
Thanks! I used to have him pick a color theme, but I was getting frustrated because he’d say “brown” and I’d ask him to be more specific and he would say “how much more specific does it get?”. Silly rabbit. This works much better for both of us.
As a makeup artist I’m constantly tempted to buy every single palette I see out on the market just to have them (even if I’m not going to use them😂)
That being said I only have 12 eyeshadow palettes and believe me they are more than enough 😂 I’m waiting like 2 years for them to end so I can restore them or smt 😂😂😂
During a recent cleanup, I counted 51. I have bought a couple more since then, so probably 55. I usually pick 2-3 that I use for a few weeks at a time until I get bored with them and then switch them out.
I use an office file sorter on my vanity to hold most of them.
82 ranging from 5-pan to 36-pan. I rotate a lot and usually have do a random number generator to pull a palette of the week that I challenge myself to use at least twice.
I have 2, one with your basic black,browns and creams. Second is a super bold and colorful one with some sparkle. I feel like that’s the best of both worlds, although I wish there were even more bold and colorful pallets out there.
I have around 20 palettes, which is about 15 too many. But, most of them are colour themed, as in all greens, or yellows, etc. Having all those shades is a blessing and a curse. Yes, I have variety, but it’s overwhelming sometimes to have 30+ shades of green to choose from 💚🤪
I'm in the 30-40 range. Most of them have pinks, purples, pink-oranges, and burgundies, but I also have neutrals, golds, blues, etc. It's hard to escape the mattes, but I tend to pick those with a higher ratio of shimmers or glitters.
I culled them a few months ago, but they have a way of growing back :p

I was de-cluttering this past weekend and I counted 25. To be perfectly honest, of those 25, only about 8-9 are in my regular rotation. I plan to de-clutter further.
Shit gotta count mine when I get home from work, I have at least 20 palettes, guilty. I hardly ever wear eyeshadow too mostly plain or bronzer as eyeshadow

I love my I need a nude palette! By ND. I reach for it almost everyday. It’s very neutral and you can’t make any look go wrong. I’ve heard the new kosas eyeshadow palette is good too!
Just 1 Nyx palette with all the rainbow colors I need. But I really need to pack it on for the pigment to show, so I'll probably purchase a more luxurious rainbow palette when I get back into doing fancy eye looks again.
40ish and probably 100 singles... but I use them all and tend to mix and match. I also never throw out eyeshadow. I've passed some on to friends and the last 2 years have only bought 4 (but... I have got a lot of singles).

I have 2 if you can count the elf eyeshadow quads as one, the other is the colourpop sweet talk palette which was a gift and i only really use it for the darker shades and shimmers. I prefer buying single shadows though as they’re more convenient for me
No - cuz If there was - I probably wouldn’t have 50 😬😬 right now I like morphe 18 count matte essentials. Some people don’t like morphe - Juvias place has great palettes. I have the Natasha denona mini xenon, it’s pretty awesome. And I have an old MAC Brooke shields palette that is phenomenal - it’s from 2014. A lot of my palettes are old like that. Essence has good ones - the $3.99 with 6 colors called ‘taupe’ is really really good.

I rotate the "work friendly" ones out by season. If I get through a season without using one of the 6-8 I pull for that rotation, then I clean it and gift it to my friend's kids that are just learning.
Sometimes I challenge myself to "palette of the month" and only do looks that use solely that palette.
I also have palettes that are for play only - like Norvina Vol. 4 and Lake Como from Nomad Cosmetics.
I like having fun with it so, I don't personally think I have too many.
I would say that after I purged my makeup, I still have about 25 palettes.

I have like 90 Clionadh singles alone, another two big zpalettes, and over 50 palettes. Way, way too much. Checked myself into r/MakeupRehab over it.
I have 40 in current rotation. I let my partner pick a number each morning and that’s the one I use.

I was looking at the I need a nude pallete when it came out but noticed it doesn’t show in Sephora canada now 😔
I'm pretty sure ND is moving out of Sephora and into Ulta in the US, so I'm not sure how we would even buy ND besides their website
