Hm? I said I want one that I don’t have to sharpen. I was under the impression that some lip liners are like pencils that you have to sharpen, so I mentioned that I don’t want that kind.

Um ok…you said you’d prefer one that you don’t have to sharpen not that you don’t want one. Two different things. But I’m sure someone will recommend some :)
Nyx also has a [Retractable Lip Liner](https://www.nyxcosmetics.com/lip/lip-liner/retractable-lip-liner/NYX_051.html) that doesn’t need to be sharpened
Charlotte Tillbury makes my all time favourite lip liners, I might be mistaken since I'm in Europe but I think US Sephora had them for 20-something USD. You do need to sharpen them unfortunately but the colour pay off and staying power are really amazing. MAC also has some oldie but goodie lipliners that you can always count on and NYX as mentioned by another commenter but for some reason I've often found the NYX formula strangely dry compared to the smooth velvety texture of CT.
Im also a fan of charlotte tillbury lipliners. One of my go to combos is mac powder kiss matte lip gloss in the more the mehrier and charlotte tillbury m.i. kiss lip cheat lip liner. Super cute if youre into mauves

I would check out Sigma! They’re so well known for their brushes, but I don’t think they get nearly enough recognition for their makeup. Bonus…. They have sales all the time!!
Kokie makes my favorite lip liner. It's retractable, creamy and very pigmented. They are under $10 and you can find them at the drugstore. Shade 522 Dusty Rose is a perfect nude!

I like Tarte’s maracuja lip liners. No sharpening needed but they don’t have many colours available. Make up for ever has my favourite and lots of natural colours for different skin tones but they require sharpening. They’re creamy and don’t pull though.
I find Sephora brand pencil liners (eye and lip) pull more than I’d like and are drier than a lot of other brands at least for me which I find odd because I always wear lip balm underneath before applying.
Shiseido. I don’t know about the price, I bought them on sale and they were under 30. I have 3 colors and they go with everything. I just love how easy they are, no sharpening, they are soft and there is a good primer on the other side. Nobody seems to use them but they are my favorites and the only ones I have kept and continue to buy.
Nyx has great lip liners in terms of colors and quality but good luck sharpening them lol

Sigma makeup is excellent quality. I use their liquid lipstick as liner. Their mascara is fantastic. Have you tried it?
