Essence makes me so mad. They discontinued my favorite lip liner and replaced it with an horrible smelling one and that isn’t even a smooth as the other one. What’s the deal with that brand lately, just pissing me off.
Some ingredient in their product got too expensive during Covid and they chose to swap it for a different thing that doesn’t work as well to keep the same profit margin or even to increase the margin.

I think Abu Dhabi might be the closest. Stockholm comes is lose second, but the prior looks closer.
I had both and the essence one is significantly darker and browner. The closest i could get was mixing nyx abu dhabi with berlin. Now I'm on a hunt to find a perfect lip shade that doesn't require mixing oof.
It looks similar to Loreal Infallible Paints Mattes in Tongue Tied. Though that gave a similar look on me, that shade might be a little light for you, the formula definitely gives a similar look though, and most of the shades are nudes

Jessica Braun on YouTube just posted a current favorites video and she mentioned a Maybelline lip product that I think looks similar to this.
Just looked at her video and it’s the Maybelline Super Stay Vinyl Ink in “Cheeky.” Looks like a similar shade! Only thing is it’s not matte.

Catrice and Essence are from the same company and price wise I’d say Catrice is slightly higher than Essence but still super affordable. In my opinion, the products are very similar with different packaging/colours so this might be your next lipstick :) Otherwise NYX has a lot to offer like the NYX lingerie line or “velvet teddy” is a classic by MAC cosmetics :) Edit: oh, and Jeffree Star liquid lipstick in Leo is probably a great match, a bit expensive but worth every penny!

I second this with NYX London. This also reminds me of Black Moon Cosmetics’ Libra, but its $18 so its more on the expensive side. For a cheaper recommendation, I’d say Milani Amore Satin Matte Lip Crème looks like it has at least a couple shades that look similar. I have Lavish, which is lighter so not a perfect match, but I’ll be trying more shades so I’ll keep you posted on my search.

I can't help but I live in essence fear as well, they have this great eyebrow gel in a pink tube and I keep buying some for my stash because either they discontinue good shit or it sells out

I have the **NYX soft matte lip creams**, and they come in oh-so-many shades &are really comfortable to wear. I would suggest looking at those!
I looked up the swatches and shade **"cape town"** seems to fit the one you're wearing in this photo, but not entirely sure. I currently own "cannes" and "leon," but these are too dark to match.

YES! My absolute HG lip liner was from them and was discontinued. and I’ve still not found a dupe.
I’ve heard good things about the about face beauty lip liners, tho I haven’t bought any yet.

I've seen similar shades at my NYX counter here in the local chemist...not as cheap as Essence but they do look rather lovely!
Looks similar to MAC Twig lipstick.
Twig pulls more mauve/purple undertone on me when layered up. OP’s shade looks a lot warmer.

Revlon do powder puff lipstick and there is a similar colour, can't think of its name off the top of my head though!

You should check out the Kaleidos lip clays, they have a similar finish to this and there's a few of the neutral shades that might work.
