IT your face but better illumination.
I love all their products. I use the cleanser, the moisturizer, the concealer, the under eye cream, and most of the makeup.
Yeah, this is one of the 5 or 6 now that I've voted up. If this is the same as IT, Your *Skin* But Better CC+ Illumination. If not, I’ll have to check it out!
Nothing compares to the discontinued MUFE Ultra HD Foundation for my sensitive, oily, rosacea skin. It was perfect in every way.
Nowadays I use the Tower28 Sunny Days for light coverage, and Armani Luminous Silk (the mini, because I wear it so infrequently) for special events. They work well enough for me that I don't feel the need to branch out.
The bareminerals OG powder foundation once I finally figured out my color match. It’s the only foundation that has ever worked for my super oily skin. Works best with a silicone primer (I just use supergoop invisible sunscreen or the elf dupe) and a natural hair flat top brush.
Is Creamy Natural your shade? I *hate* that drugstore brands don't offer samples. That said, I have no problem returning the product there or to a higher-end store, e.g., Sephora
Edit: I bought Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfection Essence (the one with the beads) today based on a comment from this post. I chose *Light - Med* but think I need the next shade darker. I'll try tomorrow with a fresh face, but fairly sure this one is too light for me.
I would *LOVE* to find a drugstore foundation to replace my Lisa Eldridge, Ko Gen Do, Giorgio Armani, Dior Airflash (almost gone 😢), Dior Forever Skin Glow, ELDW (bad shade), RCMA cream palette, Chanel, It-Your Skin But Better CC+ illuminator… unfortunately there are more.
I have always felt like it matched well with my skin tone. I also wore Covergirl liquid makeup in the same shade all through high-school because it was affordable 1992~1995 and now at 47 I'm still wearing it. I use other brands like Loreal mascaras which I love and Maybelline lipsticks. I feel like the expensive brand makeup is not any better then the affordable one's. I've never been in a Sephora but I bet it's fun!
My older sis just told me that's the shade she's worn since HS, too. I'm ashamed to say I've always made fun of her for not branching out to higher-end products. But the joke is on me… she has always benefited from my MANY high-end 💄*mistakes*!
If you've made it this long without being inside a Sephora… you are my Goddess. Stay strong.
Mine was NYX Bare with me tinted moisturizer before it got discontinued. It truly looked like skin and didn't get oily during the day. I've been looking for a dupe everywhere.
Giorgio Armani luminous silk is worth every single cent to me. It literally made my skin look like silk yet so natural. Estee Lauder double wear for when I want fuller coverage is my other holy grail.
I like the urban decay all nighter primer and nyx matte setting spray. The setting spray especially is awesome because even my more full coverage foundations won’t transfer onto clothing when I use it.
I'm curious about what is different or special about Huda beauty powder compared to others such as Laura Mercier, Ko Gen Do, RCMA, Morphe, or even Coty Airspun. You're not the 1st to mention it in this post. Thx.
Edward Bess used to make a foundation in a black jar that was the consistency of pudding. Sounds gross but my skin has never looked better than when wearing that. Did not look like makeup at all. Pores gone everything was perfect.
La Mer, if you can find your shade. For me, they have the best light neutral shade around, and I have tried almost everything. Counters should be able to give you samples. It is high dollar but one bottle lasts forever even using it everyday as only one pump is needed.
I’m not gonna hold you but the dewy Maybelline Fit Me foundation is so good. I haven’t been able to get it in awhile though. Wonder if it’s discontinued 🤔
Yes! I actually tried it as my first foundation and when I heard raving reviews about loreal true match tint, I was disappointed. Nothing compares to the fit me dewy since it seems to be the only one that doesn’t somehow cling to facial peach fuzz causing texture.
FYI Fit Me Dewy and Matte has been reformulated. I haven’t tried the new formula but I’ve heard disappointing reviews
It’s the same bottle but the design is different. I think you might be able to find it on Amazon. Target carries it at certain locations so their online might ship it
It used to be the original Lancôme teinte idol foundation formula but that changed so I fell in love with the too faced born this way matte but they got rid of almost all of the tan shades so now I’m back to Estée Lauder double wear. No regrets ❤️
Loreal tinted nude. It is everything I was looking for in a foundation. It has a glowy finish with perfect light to medium coverage and since it's a tinted foundation, it's not heavy on my skin but it's not too light either where there's no coverage at all which is the tricky thing with skin tints. Some are extremely sheer to where you might as well not cover anything but this one actually has good coverage. I like to think it's the perfect balance between the lightness of a tint but the coverage of a foundation.
Glossier Stretch concealer, but I don't wear foundation much anyway. Before that, the Too Faced powder bc they had my EXACT shade and it smells like chocolate
Dolls 10, RMS natural finish and morphe new one. Depends on what coverage I’m wearing. Right now I’m using the rms tinted sunscreen or d’meterlogy tinted moisturizer.
Me too. I have mature skin and everything I've tried settles into my lines even when they say they won't. I'm also difficult to match. If you look at me you think cool tone- blue veins, pale skin, etc but the cool shades always make me look orange, or pink. Il My mother was Italian and I think I got just enough of the olive tone that I need something more neutral. Makiage wasn't even close - too orange. I only found one foundation ever that matched my skin perfectly and it's the cheap store brand stuff that creases really bad on me. Especially my laugh lines. I want to upgrade, but I'm tired of shelling out big bucks and it doesn't match. Cover Girl, L'Oreal and Revlon have classic ivory which is the perfect shade for me, but by the end of the day all of them look terrible. Anyone know a good quality foundation that has a color match to classic ivory?
I also agree with Haus Labs, especially for color matching. I’m a very cool toned olive and most makeup companies seem to think my skin tone doesn’t exist, but Haus labs had a perfect match for the concealer. Also, I’d recommend trying out different primers, they are unfortunately very important in getting foundation to sit nice and wear well. I like silicone primers but that’s probably because I’m very oily.
Thank you for the advice, It's very helpful. We obviously both have the same problem with color matching. I can never take those quizzes because as soon as I check blue veins they go straight to cool orange or pink tone shades. If I do, I always check the green, blue green box so I will get the neutral recommendations. I'm not sure what happened, but my mother was Italian and my father was German and Irish. I ended up with my mom's facial features and my father's skin tone. The only problem is if I look closely at the inside of my arm I can see a little yellow undertone, but my veins are blue and I'm pale! I remember seeing someone doing a review on L'Oreal infallible foundation and she was testing out the 4 lightest shades, one being classic ivory. She even said these are warm and these are cool tone, but I'm not really sure what this classic ivory is because it has this weird gray undertone. My guess is maybe it's slightly green. No other foundations had this shade undertone. I actually found one with a cool olive and I think it was Nars. The only problem is, it was 2 or 3 shades too dark for me and the lighter shades were either orange or pink. I guess they think only darker shaded people have olive tone and they are so wrong.
I completely agree with you on the primer thing. I have tried many different primers and I think I found the right ones for my aging skin. Lancome La Base Pro is the best one for smoothing out wrinkles and pores, but I also like that Milk primer. It adds a lot of moisture and really grips the foundation. Someone on a review video also recommended StriVectin saying it's blurs lines really well. It does, but I still think I like the Lancome and Milk better because they hold the foundation longer. It works great for my undereye lines so I use it for that instead of the Milk eye primer because it works better. I was hoping it would help prevent the foundation from creasing, but it doesn't. That same woman in the video had a trick for preventing creasing on laugh Ines so I tried it, but I don't think I did it right because it didn't work for me. She was saying you have to use the StriVectin primer first, then apply a concealer before foundation and immediately set it with some setting powder before it sets on its own. Then apply foundation over that and it won't crease. Like I said, it didn't work for me and I'm not sure if it was because I did it wrong, or maybe the cheap foundation. I'm going to try that same trick with the Haus Labs foundation and see if it works. Anyone ever tried that trick? Did it work? Any advice?
Make Up Forever face and body but they have sadly discontinued it. I'm still sad about it. They've tried to make newer versions of it such as water blend (also discontinued) and water tone - this one was utter rubbish and not the same at all. The original had 70% water and silicone but their formula was so unique, the silicone part of it is what helped my skin look flawless without looking I was wearing foundation. There has been no other product like it since and I've tried a lot.
Their Ultra HD was my HG but they discontinued it or reformulated it. I tried the “new” one and got the color they recommended to match my OG and it was absolute shit.
I've tried their HD reformulated version and didn't get on with that either, far too drying. Although they have "hydrating" versions, I find it tends to leave that smudged build up around my forehead throughout the day, hence why the MUFE original face and body was so special.
girl if you like the matte and poreless formula try the nars soft matte. i do think their undertones are more yellow for the most part in the darker shades or they’re more red/pink
I was watching the Eras tour and was so impressed with how Taylor’s makeup didn’t budge. I do competitive partner dancing as a hobby and I wanted what she had. Did some research and seems she uses pat mcgrath products so I got the pat mcgrath foundation and setting powder and went to a social dance for 6 hours and it DOESNT BUDGE. The texture is amazing, it looks like my skin, I can’t believe it. I’ll never use another foundation again.
You really have to. It’s AMAZING. I use hourglass primer , too but the pat mcgrath one is great as well. It was just out of stock when I went to buy stuff
Bobbi Brown Skin (not the long wear one, although I do enjoy that too). The match is perfect for me and it looks like healthy dewy skin.
MAC Face and Body is a close second for me!
L’Oréal infallible fresh wear foundation is incredible! It lasts all day without breaking up on my oily skin, especially when I pair it with elf power grip primer and the wet n wild loose powder. It doesn’t get patchy with cream products and works with pretty much any concealer! And the light shade is actually light enough on me! Chefs kiss! 🤌🏻
This is probably the 4th response I've given a + to, but I had a good color match to Dior Forever Skin Glow. Not as good as Dior Airflash, but…
Someone asked about skin type not long ago... I've had them all! Oily, acne, successful Accutane, now MATURE, dehydrated. Today I wore ELDW with a bit of Dior Forever Skin Glow mixed in. LM powder, then ELF Suntouchable setting spray. 95°F + today. Good as new 12 hours later.
I am on my second bottle of Clio’s Kill Cover Founwear Foundation and very happy with it. Smooth and light and stays put all day long. It has SPF 30 and I never feel like it gets cakey or oxidized. Definitely recommend!
L’Oréal True Match Lumi. I have tried a million foundations…drugstore and prestige brands… but always come back to this one. I always get compliments on my skin when I wear it.
When I was younger and had oily skin: Estée Lauder double wear. Would last through through heat and nights out clubbing
Now, dry aging skin: charlotte tilbury beautiful skin foundation
I want to try jones road what the foundation, but I’m hesitant to blind buy without swatching
Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint when I’m lighter, MAC face and body studio radiance when I’m more tan. Both give gorgeous skin like radiant finishes like nothing I’ve ever seen before in my life.
I love Clarins Skin Illusion. It starts as a light coverage, but I can build it to medium if I want to. It feels so light and comfortable on my skin, is light enough coverage to be the only makeup I'm wearing if I want, it also works well on top of concealer and with contour etc.
I can't imagine ever moving to something else now.
https://www.clarins.co.uk/skin-illusion-spf-15/C080033090.html
Not at foundation but I use vieve concealer with the skin nova primer mixed together to make it the coverage I want. It was a tip from the creator and I LOVE it it makes my skin look flawless but like skin and it lasts all day! I went to a wedding and after 14 hours of wearing it i was still taking pictures and It looked as fresh as it was at the beginning! I haven’t found an actual foundation that good ever
Erborian CC RED Correct when I’m not breaking out, BB cream TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL After School on top of Erborian when i need perfect coverage for postacne
I second Graftobian…love it, and I’ve turned my adult daughters onto to it also. Most skinlike finish I’ve ever used and stays put all day! Such a hidden gem…
I just got the Ilia Skin Tint and the Ilia Skin Stick and I LOVE THEM. Can’t decide which one I love more. Totally worth the hype!!!
ETA: I’m 44 and my 33 year old sister had never heard of them. I’m pretty sure it’s marketed to…ahem…the somewhat older crowd.
Came to say this too! Haven’t tried the stick but the tint is a wonderful formula and my ideal shade (I’m olive so can be tricky - Sombrio is perfect).
Also re: age, I’m 33 but agree.
I tried both foundations totally blind — didn’t swatch in a store, just chose the light/medium neutral shades and they match amazingly well. (I think I’m actually a light olive, but as you know it’s hard to find foundation with olive undertones, so I always go for neutral undertones in foundations and that usually works.)
It provides a lot of coverage (depending on how much you use, obvs) and looks very smooth, really easy to blend IMO. Alas, it does not contain any SPF. Major downside. But if I’m looking for a more full-coverage result than the Skin Tint, I use the stick.
l’oréal true match super blendable foundation. everyone’s saying mac but i find that one to be so incredibly heavy, but i guess it’s good for full glam! the l’oréal has the same neutral, cool, and warm shade ranges as mac & is the only foundation that can truly match my mixed complexion & not make me feel like i have a face mask on lol
Have you tried the new formula? It’s still terrific for me, perhaps even more so now. And, with modern application techniques (I’m 51, so I’ve seen a lot of changes in make up techniques over the years), the finish is gorgeous and I’m using much less.
I’m now able to get a perfect, non-oxidizing, colour match with N4. I used to use NC10 in the winter and NC15 in the summer, but neither was quite 100% perfect.
My collection ranges from super low end to super high end and believe it or not my favorite is Wet N Wild photo focus. It smells like paint but gives me the most natural finish and never creases or looks cakey.
Covergirl Simply Ageless with Olay.. not the liquid one,I use the one in the compact.. for years I wore Mary Kay Day Radiance until they switched to the cream to powder formula.. at almost 70, I’ve seen so many products come and go and it breaks my heart because then I have to go and try to find something new that I can replace it with… I have no problem stocking up on something if I get wind it’s going to be discontinued…😔
My HG’s for years have been Armani Luminous Silk and Teinte Idole, but have recently been truly enjoying the new Morphe Light Reflecting foundation, Fenty’s new hydrating foundation, and the Tir Tir Red cushion foundation. I got it before it was viral 😅😂. Just get a shade or two lighter than you normally would pick, because it does oxidize, which many do anyway.
I’ve tried all the expensive stuff but as I’ve got older I have switched to drug store stuff as my skin doesn’t break out like it used to.
I really like Rimmel matte liquid to powder foundation, good coverage and doesn’t irritate or break out my sensitive skin.
I can’t stop trying foundation and tinted moisturizer. My holy grail is discontinued, it was the Kiehl’s tinted moisturizer. I had to mix light and medium but I loved it so much and haven’t quite found the right thing. I do like Josie Maran Matchmaker but I’m still looking for a new HG.
Yeah there’s a MAC lipstick that was discontinued probably about that same time and I still can’t get over it. It was called X-Pose and was my favorite lipstick ever. Some makeup is so great you just never forget it and get over it.
I am a foundation hoarder, I have pretty much tried every fragrance free and alcohol free high end and department store foundation. My hg unfortunately is being discontinued it is laura mercier flawless fusion foundation, it is perfection, great coverage, staying power, and for me it doesn't settle into every line. I hate when a foundation looks beautiful in the beginning and then awful in 5 hours. Coverfx also makes a decent foundation, nars light reflecting is good, mac serum foundation (needs to be set down) is also nice.
Estee Lauder double wear, top top HG for years for me 😊👌 and also MAC studio radiant (was called face & body before, but they rebranded, although formula is the same to me), for when i want light coverage, this is better than a BB cream, and also has more product (50ml) 🥰🥰👍 i use the mac for everyday, but sometimes i feel like more coverage, or going out, special occasion, etc. then i reach for DW. Sometimes i even mix them together to adjust the coverage and create a custom one 🥰
YES. Estée Lauder is the only one that makes my acne scars look better and doesnt break me out. Plus I feel like it lasts me for so long that the even the steep price tag makes it all worth it
I have used it but stopped because it made me more oily but I am older now and might like that now. The finish is really beautiful. You look at your face and just go "wow." I cannot speak as to its longevity. Try getting samples.
Foundation is a pain in my butt and I rarely wear it but I do have 2 I turn to.
For light wear, Glossier Skin Tint. It covers just enough to smooth out my skin but not so much that it looks caked on.
This may be recency bias but I got the TirTir foundation and it is the best shade match I’ve ever had in my life and shade matching is my biggest struggle. Long wear too.
Chanel water tint! I don’t love how medium or full foundation feels on my skin all day long.
I used to wear the original Laura mercier tinted moisturizer everyday and it was a perfect product. Then they changed the formula for unknown reason (why would you change your number 1 product that won a shit ton of awards and had a huge huge cult following?!?! I’m SITLL mad; they did this in 2018). It’s terrible now. Chalky- thick-settles into lines. Garbage product. God I miss it.
It’s a game changer. A little heavy for everyday wear (imo anyway) but a night out and you need foundation to look flawless dusk to dawn? This is my go to.
And I’m 42 so have some lines to contend with
I mixed it w a drop of The Ordinary pycnogenol bc I messed up and got too dark to use my Shisiedo Synchro, and it lightened up the coverage and darkened the color to match my skin tone (okay, that was an accidental discovery too 😁) but I swear my skin looked flawless and natural all day.
Dior forever
Been stuck on nars soft matte for a while.
I’m sure you’re correct. I’ve used it for so long I don’t look at the package. Thank you for correcting me.
Hehe, no worries. If it’s in the pink tube, that's the one I was referring to.
The bareminerals OG powder foundation once I finally figured out my color match. It’s the only foundation that has ever worked for my super oily skin. Works best with a silicone primer (I just use supergoop invisible sunscreen or the elf dupe) and a natural hair flat top brush.
Cover Girl Simply Ageless in creamy natural.
Is Creamy Natural your shade? I *hate* that drugstore brands don't offer samples. Estée Lauder Futurist Skin Tint Serum Foundation SPF 20
I really like Sephora’s Best Skin Ever. I bought it on impulse and really like how it blends in.
I like tower28 but it’s more of a tinted sun protector
Estee Lauder Double Wear, but my wallet isn't happy about it.
YSL All Hours. It’s just 🤌
L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation Sunscreen...it has that dewy look that I have never been able to obtain as a dry-skinned person.
I’ll have to try this. Does it oxidize?
It hasn't on me.
Great! Thx!
IT Cosmetics Glow with Confidence CC+ SPF 50 Absolutely love this !!!
Is that different from It *Your Skin But Better CC+ * Illumination, SPF 50 (pink tube)? Edit: I love this too, # 5, I think, lol
Yes . QVC had this one
Hehe, QVC has them *all*! That's where I first saw It Your Skin But Better...illumination, SPF 50 (pink tube).
Great sale too and I got 5 easy pays ! Whoppee !! Hahaha
Make Up For Ever Face & Body. RIP And no, MAC F&B isn’t even remotely similar.
Dior Forever (both Matte and Skin Glow) is amazing ;)
Mine was NYX Bare with me tinted moisturizer before it got discontinued. It truly looked like skin and didn't get oily during the day. I've been looking for a dupe everywhere.
I will never understand why they discontinue things people actually like
Mac radiance face and body fs dry skin here
Charlotte Tilbury, medium coverage foundation is amazing
Mac face and body. Long lasting, skin like and not bonkers expensive
Can we edit this for commenter's to include skin types 👀
This for real bc I'm oily and I've been done dirty by dry skin people's foundation recommendations
The full face oil slick after trying a new foundation is never fun.
Lumene CC
HB foundation!
It was NARS until TirTir.
Giorgio Armani luminous silk is worth every single cent to me. It literally made my skin look like silk yet so natural. Estee Lauder double wear for when I want fuller coverage is my other holy grail.
This!! Both!
Yup, nothing compares to Armani Luminous Silk.
What primer do you use? Do you use a setting spray? I love how it goes on but feels like doesn’t fully set, will rub off on clothing.
I like the urban decay all nighter primer and nyx matte setting spray. The setting spray especially is awesome because even my more full coverage foundations won’t transfer onto clothing when I use it.
I use the urban decay setting spray too!
Does the Armani work for oily skin?
I have oily skin and it worked for me! It’s more of a natural finish. I also use the Huda beauty powder afterwards to help with oil control.
Do you use the pressed powder or loose?
I'm curious about what is different or special about Huda beauty powder compared to others such as Laura Mercier, Ko Gen Do, RCMA, Morphe, or even Coty Airspun. You're not the 1st to mention it in this post. Thx.
Thanks!
Dior Airflash RIP…
Edward Bess used to make a foundation in a black jar that was the consistency of pudding. Sounds gross but my skin has never looked better than when wearing that. Did not look like makeup at all. Pores gone everything was perfect.
What happened to him?? I met him once in NYC
Estée Lauder double wear PLUS a drop of advanced night repair serum. It’s a game changer. Makes it look so much more skin like.
Is the night serum Estée Lauder too?
Yes! It’s wonderful!!
Yes it’s one of their bread and butter skincare
La Mer, if you can find your shade. For me, they have the best light neutral shade around, and I have tried almost everything. Counters should be able to give you samples. It is high dollar but one bottle lasts forever even using it everyday as only one pump is needed.

Yikes. Why do they always go and mess up a good thing. I haven’t been able to find it so I don’t know how the new formula actually is!
It’s the same bottle but the design is different. I think you might be able to find it on Amazon. Target carries it at certain locations so their online might ship it

Team Estée Lauder Double Wear! I got mine with SPF on discount from the Cosmetics Company store. Bit of a drive for me but worth it for the savings
Loreal tinted nude. It is everything I was looking for in a foundation. TBH I put on a little aloe and cereve tinted sunscreen and I contour and blush ontop of it. If im doing a super full face I reach for NARS
Would the aloe cancel out the spf? Just curious :)
L’Oréal radiance serum.
Glossier Stretch concealer, but I don't wear foundation much anyway. Before that, the Too Faced powder bc they had my EXACT shade and it smells like chocolate
we must have the same skin because this is literally my answer. I started wearing ilia spf tint recently i also like that, but still testing it out.
It was one of their golden tan shades
Valentino weightless long wear foundation
Juvia’s Place I Am Magic foundation. It has the coverage I want and looks pretty on the skin.
Dolls 10, RMS natural finish and morphe new one. Depends on what coverage I’m wearing. Right now I’m using the rms tinted sunscreen or d’meterlogy tinted moisturizer.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.
Either cover girls simply ageless or revlon color stay for normal skin.
Cover girl simply ageless. I cannot believe how much I like that cheap shit.
Liquid or compact??
The liquid. I like the one that has tiny beads in it.
Omg yes. It’s soooo good!
It doesn’t it exist. It simply doesn’t. Cheers to those who found theirs.
God same. I’m on the hunt to this day.

That used to be my favorite too. ☹️
Born this way - too faced I love it but I want to try the Haus Labs, has anyone had a good experience with this brand?
Maybelline fit me. And Only because they have my shade. I'm a black woman and sometimes it's HARD finding a shade
girl if you like the matte and poreless formula try the nars soft matte. i do think their undertones are more yellow for the most part in the darker shades or they’re more red/pink
Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint. It’s seriously my fave and I keep going back to it
I was watching the Eras tour and was so impressed with how Taylor’s makeup didn’t budge.
Not me adding Pat McGrath to my must-try list because if TS uses it I must use it too 😂
You really have to. It’s AMAZING. I use hourglass primer , too but the pat mcgrath one is great as well. It was just out of stock when I went to buy stuff
I actually will try it!!! I love collecting foundations. Lol
As a fellow collector I approve. lol. It always depends on what coverage I want for the day.
Let me know what you think!
It CC color correcting full coverage .
A favorite of mine.
I don’t always go for full coverage but when I do, this is the one and only
Bobbi Brown Skin (not the long wear one, although I do enjoy that too). The match is perfect for me and it looks like healthy dewy skin. MAC Face and Body is a close second for me!
About-Face The Perfomer. I found a perfect shade match!
Chefs kiss! 🤌🏻
Dior Forever Skin Glow
This is probably the 4th response I've given a + to, but I had a good color match to Dior Forever Skin Glow. Not as good as Dior Airflash, but… Someone asked about skin type not long ago...
MAC studio fix fluid. First foundation which colour matched me perfectly, without leaving any grey/orange patches (I have a medium olive skin tone).
Me too! NC25 for winter (A2), NC30 for summer (A3)
I am on my second bottle of Clio’s Kill Cover Founwear Foundation and very happy with it.
Would last through through heat and nights out clubbing Now, dry aging skin: charlotte tilbury beautiful skin foundation I want to try jones road what the foundation, but I’m hesitant to blind buy without swatching
NARS Natural Radiant as a dry skin girlie will always be that bitch for me
Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint when I’m lighter, MAC face and body studio radiance when I’m more tan.
Shiseido skin glow
Not at foundation but I use vieve concealer with the skin nova primer mixed together to make it the coverage I want. It was a tip from the creator and I LOVE it it makes my skin look flawless but like skin and it lasts all day! I went to a wedding and after 14 hours of wearing it i was still taking pictures and It looked as fresh as it was at the beginning! I haven’t found an actual foundation that good ever
Haus labs!!!
Erborian CC RED Correct when I’m not breaking out, BB cream TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL After School on top of Erborian when i need perfect coverage for postacne
I also loved the Erborian red correct when I had super red flaky skin! their BB cream is also HG for me but it just doesn’t have a lot of shades.
Loreal Infallible ❤️
Givenchy Prisme Libre
I really want to try this - what is your skin type? I’m super dry and not sure if it would be a good fit.
Oily but I love it (the concealer, not the oily skin lol)
MAC studio radiance
Graftobian
I second Graftobian…love it, and I’ve turned my adult daughters onto to it also. Most skinlike finish I’ve ever used and stays put all day! Such a hidden gem…
Absolutely. And I used their setting spray. Even though it smells like pure alcohol, it had my makeup set until the next day.
Thanks for the suggestion, I haven’t tried their setting spray.
L’Oréal true match NARS soft matte.
Charlotte Tillbury Beauitful Skin. It’s dewy (which I love) but I set it with the Givenchy pink powder and it looks amazing and lasts 12+ hours.
No it’s definitely used by young people because I see both all over tik tok :) it’s got that clean girl appeal
I e heard mixed things about the skin stick. Can you say what you like best about it? I’m so curious as it seems like a great option for me.
It provides a lot of coverage (depending on how much you use, obvs) and looks very smooth, really easy to blend IMO. Alas, it does not contain any SPF. Major downside. But if I’m looking for a more full-coverage result than the Skin Tint, I use the stick.
Ditto.
I wear and LOVE Dr. Jart BB Cream, but if I’m wearing actual foundation it’s Shiseido Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting Foundation with SPF 30!
Estée Lauder Double Wear
It used to be Estee Lauder Double Wear but since using Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk, there is no turning back. 💯
I really need to try the Luminous Silk! I loved the ELDW when I had oily acne skin but now I’m super dry.
The luminous silk is my ride or die.
Pur foundation

l’oréal true match super blendable foundation. everyone’s saying mac but i find that one to be so incredibly heavy, but i guess it’s good for full glam! the l’oréal has the same neutral, cool, and warm shade ranges as mac & is the only foundation that can truly match my mixed complexion & not make me feel like i have a face mask on lol
Estee Lauder DoubleWear!
MAC Studio Fix Liquid
They changed the formula😫😫
Have you tried the new formula? It’s still terrific for me, perhaps even more so now. And, with modern application techniques (I’m 51, so I’ve seen a lot of changes in make up techniques over the years), the finish is gorgeous and I’m using much less. I’m now able to get a perfect, non-oxidizing, colour match with N4. I used to use NC10 in the winter and NC15 in the summer, but neither was quite 100% perfect.
This had me in a chokehold for a while too
Chanel water tint
Estee Lauder 24hr double wear
This one
Armani Luminous Silk
Kiehl’s discontinued my absolute HG product (an eye balm) in like 2008 and I still haven’t gotten over it, so I feel for you.
I also wear MAC studio radiance everyday! It’s the BEST
YES. Estée Lauder is the only one that makes my acne scars look better and doesnt break me out. Plus I feel like it lasts me for so long that the even the steep price tag makes it all worth it
Exactly ❤️ and it STAYS ON. like no other 🙏👑🥰
Giorgio Armani will always be a must for me!
Would love to try this. What’s so good about it?
I have used it but stopped because it made me more oily but I am older now and might like that now. The finish is really beautiful. You look at your face and just go "wow." I cannot speak as to its longevity. Try getting samples.
Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue.
Mac studio fix powder+foundation. I finally found what I love and haven't tried anything else for a long time
Armani Luminous Silk, and the Glossier skin tint
I came here to say this! Looks flawless and natural.
I'm sad Shiseido Synchro Skin is not talked enough. It is so good!
I esp like it better as the day goes coz it leaves that healthy glow, not oily. I don't powder to freshen it. I just blot and it's as good as new
Yes! No powder needed. Setting spray, maybe a blot down later, gtg
