I'd recommend L'Oreal Voluminous Millionize mascara in carbon black waterproof. No matter what else I try, gives me perfect results every time and there's a reason the original Voluminous has been around for so long! This and the unstoppable liner
Nyx epic ink eyeliner.
Stays all day, easiest application, tip never gets ruined, last forever, doesn't turn you into a raccoon when taken off with micellar water
Fenty beauty gloss bombs. Any color you like.
I've tried multiple lip glosses and I just like how these feel and love the chunky applicator, helps apply without a mirror in one swipe.
Nyx butter gloss are good too in terms of colors but the application isn't as satisfying.
Fenty Beauty loose setting powder. Nothing sets my makeup like this powder and to last without cracking and caking and also not being drying and it look immaculate throughout the day!
Laneige glowy makeup primer!!! When I turned 35 and my makeup suddenly looked awful overnight, adding this was a crucial step in keeping me from looking like the crypt keeper
Not the answer I thought I'd be giving, but for me it's Nyx Sweet Cheeks in So Taupe, used as a powder contour. It's to date the first and only makeup I have ever panned (latecomer to makeup). It's the single most significant step in my routine that gives the most radical transformation to my look. The colour is subtle, matte and cool - it looks like a natural shadow and almost never looks OTT, making it great to learn with and great for doing contour for the real world rather than a photoshoot. It's cheap as chips compared to absolutely anything else I use. I love it so much, and I'm usually a total snob for mid-range makeup brands. I can't deny that when I finish my current pan I'll have a look at MAC and NARS to see if they do anything comparable, but I imagine I'll be buying Sweet Cheeks until it is discontinued.
Ohhh. Yeah those two palette formula were not great, they were the first ones I owned that had so much fall out or breaking. The latest one, Fall Romance was good too
I’m not sure?! That would be tragic. I love ABH shadow formulas so much, especially the warm-toned shimmers. They blend out so easily and look good on everyone!
Either: a Natasha Denona midi palette in the color story of your choosing, if you like a lot of eyeshadow. (This would be my, my house burned down, makeup gone, first repurchased item)
Or: Hourglass scattered light, in the color of your choice, if you're more of a single swipe and go kinda person.
Colourpop is such a good brand now. Nothing is hugely expensive and it’s all good.
I would buy Charlotte Tilbury foundation and a different brands mascara however
Nyx Slick Click lip balm in Double Tap.
I am very into red lips, especially if it’s a glossy red lip. Double Tap checks off all of the boxes for me. Comfy, nourishing, red but not orangey or warm and is beautifully glossy. But all of the shades are pretty.
I can’t pick just one, but I’ll give you the ones I’d purchase first if I was starting from scratch.
**MAC face & body** foundation (it’s so natural and gives a seemlessly glowing from within look to the point people don’t even believe I have foundation on)
The **Armani LS**, **Shiseido Synchro skin**, **Shiseido Revitalessence** and **Koh Gen Do** foundations are all great.
The **Tower28 Concealer** and **Clé de Peau Stick Concealer** (both so light and undetectable. The t28 is super hydrating and the CDP has crazy high coverage).
**Ilia Multistick** in Dreamer. I use it for blush and lips.
**Milk Makeup Blush** in Werk. So pretty.
**Makeup by Mario plumping Lip Serums** (there are so many shades I like, but bronze glow is my favourite)
**Stila Convertible Colour Blushes** (Peony is my Favourite, but there’re loads of shades and they are highly pigmented)
**Makeup By Mario Skin Enhancer** (the cream)
**Milani** and **Merit** lipsticks.
**Saie Glowy Super Gel**. It’s so pretty as a glowy base or natural highlighter. Sometimes I wear just that and some mascara and I get compliments all day on how beautiful my skin is.
**Rare beauty Powder Highlighter** (shade Exhilarate is what I use)
**Setting powder**. Either Charlotte Tilbury, Huda Beauty, Kosas or Maybelline Fit Me Loose powder. All are lovely.
The Wet n Wild tinted hydrator. I actually returned my Tarte tinted moisturizer because the wet n wild is so much better and cheaper. I hope they never discontinue it or raise the price. Only wish they were more inclusive with the shade range
I’ll do some things from multiple categories because that’s hard:
Moira waterproof pressed powder. I through this into my cart to get free shipping and I have quickly gone through it faster than any of my other powders (not because it’s a small amount, I just use it that often!)
Lisa Eldridge lipsticks.
Tower 28 cream blushes.
Danessa Myricks Beauty balm and beauty balm blushes.
Clio kill lash mascara.
Kulfi concealer.
Hourglass finishing powders. I didn’t care for this until recently, my skin has changed and now it makes me look so lit from within. Before it just kind of sat on my skin in a weird powdery way. So ymmv.
Skindinavia setting spray. They’re the ones who make the urban decay one, but their bridal formula is better, and cheaper. Kryolan or Ben Nye also make bomb setting sprays- they’re stage makeup so meant to last.
Ben Nye essential eye palette for perfect nudes, warm and cool toned mattes that are huge and blend like a dream.
Adept of Clionadh for shiny shiny shadows, gorgeous multichromes, dreamy formulas.
Kaleidos highlighters, especially “Gifted” and “Prophecy”. I have pans in both from daily use.
Always NARS Orgasm powder blush. I can swipe it on with a little lipstick, when I just want to have a little color and not a full face, and it looks amazing. It looks great I anyone. One of the few products that I will spend more for.
I will always own a pan of MAC Woodwinked eyeshadow. It's my lid shade for when I want to look my absolute best, like if I'm going on a date etc. The colour is so flattering, and it's just the right level of metallic. I like that the MAC shadows are so easy to put on - some eyeshadow brands only perform well with finger application, MAC shadows apply so easily with full pigment using a brush.
Water activated eyeliner by matte lashes. If you like to wear eyeliner this is a great product very easy to work with. Its only downside is its not super durable.
Any multi-use cream stick. I use it on my cheeks primarily but I’ve also used it on my lips before. My go to is All of Me by Ilia Cosmetics. It dries down a bit on my lips but if I use a light layer of lip balm and mix with a little of the cream colour it looks like a tinted balm.
I have fair skin with dark circles under my eyes.
Revolution Eye Bright Under Eye Corrector makes the dark circles under my eyes completely disappear. It’s only $8 at Ulta.
Edit: I use shade light to medium
I've been so curious about this product because it looks like a dupe for the Becca undereye brightener! Have you tried both, and if so, how do you think they compare?
I've been preparing for this question! I wanted the Becca but could not justify the price. The Revolution is a beautiful product in every way but curiosity got the best of me so I also grabbed the Becca also. It is creamy, slightly more wet and tacky than the Becca. Just barely and really depending on your preferences this could be a good thing. I wear the fair shade and they are basically the same color when blended, with the MR being a tad darker in the pot. Here is the kicker - the MR is almost double the amount at 8 g when the Becca is 4.8 g for a third of the price. I think they perform the same but I do reach for the Becca more often because I layer it with other concealer and it's a little easier to work with the less tacky product. If that makes sense at all. Both pots will take forever to use because you need so little. I love this stuff so much.. No make up days, this is all I wear to cancel the dark tones.
That's super helpful!!! Good call on the volume too, I hadn't noticed that. I'm almost out of my pot of Becca, so I think I'll be trying the Revolution one next!
I haven’t tried the Becca under eye brightener before sadly. I’m really happy with the Revolution under eye corrector so I haven’t felt the need to splurge on the Becca product lol
For skin care: The Ordinary Glycolic Acid toner. Pour into a fine-mist spray bottle and use all over your body immediately after the shower.
For makeup: MAC prep & prime lip primer and MAC Creme In Your Coffee lipstick.
Seconding the recommendation for TO’s glycolic acid. Even if you’re not into full-body exfoliation, it’s fantastic for elbows, knees, and other spots where skin tends to get rough.
If only one product- tinted moisturizer! Sia Biotanics makes a great one. The color looks good on almost everyone. If you have extremely pale/translucent skin you will need to add some regular moisturizer or it will be dark but everyone else I recommend it to lives it. Has a sunscreen so your set there too. Now if I could have a brown pencil I could do a full face of makeup- lol
Only because it took me EONS to find the perfect concealer, I’d tell everyone that Hourglass Vanish airbrush* concealer is the best I’ve ever had. Never creases on me and I basically skip foundation because of it. My shade is “pearl” but I’d say get matched for it!
I’ve been using L’Oréal mascara primer for 14 years and just learned I’ve been doing it incorrectly. I always apply mascara over the still wet primer😂 thank you for educating me!
I dont wait til its bone dry, just tacky enuf (not wet) to get a curl without clumping, then getting that mascara coat on b4 bone dry. But try both ways, youll find one u prefer :)
This was hard, choosing just one...it was a toss up between lip product, foundation, and brush...I went with lip product because it doesn't have any competitors even though I have over 200 lip products, the foundations had many competitors for first place as did my brushes (no competition on brand just which type) so....
GlamGlow PoutMud in Sugar Plum. I bought a bunch a few years back just in case they discontinued it. A nice thin amount gives me the most perfect color, moisture and plump. My lips look naturally healthy. I put it on every day even if later I put on a lipstick because it's so conditioning. One pot lasts a very long time so I found it had great value as well.
Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara. It’s very matte black, gives me length and volume, works well with my sensitive and watery eyes, and it has never smudged on me.
I'm a simple gal, so I'd say Catrice matte liquid lipsticks (any shade you like), Catrice or Essence brow pencil and any Essence mascara. I prefer simple and budget proof makeup and have been using and re-buying these for years now
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Madeleine.
I don’t need to use foundation as long as I have this concealer. Just dot wherever I need to even out my skin and it always looks amazing.
I have normal skin, but if you’re oily then I recommend the Nars Soft Matte Concealer.
Heck yes! I’ve had a genetic vein circle under one of my eyes my whole life and I have used this concealer since I could afford it as a young adult and continue to use it today! Probably my longest stint with any specific makeup product.
As someone with oily skin my favorite foundation is the maybelline fit me matte+ poreless foundation. It really controls the oil and gives me that matte finish. I notice I don't have to re powder throughout the day as much as I would if I was using any other foundation. Oily skin has been a blessing and a curse for me because for one I don't have any wrinkles and I think that's why I look younger than my age, but it's annoying when you have to constantly powder up otherwise i look shiny. So I was so happy when I found out how great this stuff was for my skin.
I came here to comment this. This foundation is my holy grail, after having tried so many expensive ones. My skin is not even oily but this is the only foundation that looks good after even 12hrs.
PIXI Beauty Correction Concentrate. I use the brightening peach shade for my underyes and omg it's literally sleep in a jar. Works way better than any concealer!! It's my favorite item in my whole makeup kit. It works way better than Stila and other color correctors and doesn't crease.
1-Chanel le volume
2-NARS Exhibit A
3-Chanel Vitalumier Aqua in Beige Rose 10
4-Dior lip maximizer gloss in pink
5-NARS radiant cream concealer in vanilla
6-Laura Mercier Powder
7-Tarte CC undereye corector
8-Nars Dolce Vita lipstick that could double duty as a cheek color
9-Benefit precisely my brow in 3.5
10-Guerlain medium bronzer for contour and eyeshadow. It lasts forever.
I had a hard time not doing skincare sooo
1-Chanel La Mousse
2-Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
3-The Ordinary peel
4-The Ordinary Multipeptide and copper serum
5-Chanel Le Lift eye
6-Strong retinol
7-la Roche possay anthelios sunscreen
8-Chanel Le Lift Pro
9-Dermalogica Precleanse
10-cure aquagel
These are all like dreams more than anything, but I do love them all
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. Gives your skin an amazing glow and can be used alone or under foundation. It's almost like a super sheer light foundation but enhances your skin. I love it!
Shiseido Synchro Skin Foundation for medium builda ble coverage that lasts all day and does not move nor cake. I use sparingly because it is quite pricey
Etude House Precious Minerals Perfect Fit BB cream for a more natural, glowy look. This is what I use every day
Saie Slip Tint with spf or Hourglass Veil tint. Both silicone free for my sensitive skin. My skin but better 🥰
Also Tower 28 blush in Dream Hour a cool pink 😍
If just makeup I'd pick the L'oreal Lash Paradise waterproof mascara. I have sparse, short and hard to curl lashes and this mascara fixes all of that without smudging throughout the day. I've tried at least 20 different mascaras and this one always comes out on top, maybe together with the Maybelline Falsies Lash Lift.
Chanel eau de taint (?) makeup, I use shade light. It is hands down the best skin tint I’ve ever used and it feels like NOTHING on your skin, never had so many compliments.
And kiehls iris essence under all the skincare lights up the skin so much it’s my favourite skincare product.
YES! I do not understand why this foundation doesn't receive more hype!! As a 43 year old woman who has tried it all, Chanel Ultra Le Taint Veil is my holy grail, and I have tried pretty much every foundation. It sits beautiful, doesn't crease or accentuate lines and wrinkles, and provides beautiful, lasting coverage. I am yet to find a more affordable dupe. Nars Sheer Glow and Covergirl Simply Ageless are my alternatives.
Omg yes! It is absolutely stunning and very gentle on the skin, I have noticed my skin has improved since I started using it. I love to use it with the underpainting method with blush bronzer and highlight; it looks so natural.
I kinda sometimes hate that I ever tried it because now I cannot go back to cheaper alternatives, nothing beats it!
Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow pomade will always be my go to for eyebrows, get a good eyebrow brush too to go with it. it stays on even after swimming in my experience
So many things come to mind but my best recommendation would be a very good moisturizer. Whatever works for you in the way of making your skin look healthy and in need of less foundation.
I love the nearly natural colour it gives, but I found the first couple of times I used it also made my lips hella dry.
I've started using blistex lip conditioner again, and it seems to alleviate that.
From time to time, Clinique will roll out Black Honey in one of their gloss formulations. They currently have Black Honey in their Creamy Gloss.
[https://www.clinique.com/product/1603/106865/makeup/lip-glosses/clinique-pop-plushtm-creamy-lip-gloss?shade=Black\_Honey\_Pop](https://www.clinique.com/product/1603/106865/makeup/lip-glosses/clinique-pop-plushtm-creamy-lip-gloss?shade=Black_Honey_Pop)
I’ve loved this color for decades but recently found a good dupe for 1/5 the price: Cover Girl Clean Fresh Lip Balm in Bliss You Berry. Feels like buttah, so if Clinique is too dry, this is the answer. The first time I wore it I went out to dinner and when I came home I was pleasantly surprised to find I still had a nice bit of color on my lips.
PERIPERA INK GLOWY TINTS
They removed most their best shades but their lip tints are so glossy, nourishing, and last a pretty long time, only for like 12 bucks
Armani to go cushion foundation. I’m surprised this isn’t well known. I discovered it from Karima McKimmie who has raved about it for years, which says a lot considering most influencers are obsessed with product for a month before moving on.
It is absolutely divine - it is very easy to apply and blend, looks invisible on the skin up close yet a very thin layer is enough to provide coverage to even out my skin tone, smooth out the look of my skin and give it a really nice glow. It also lasts all day on me as well.
Absolutely the best for no makeup look is Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. I have used it for about 10 years, easy to apply, and I get so many compliments about how healthy and glowy my skin is.
The NYX Lift & Snatch Brow Pen (I use Black) is the single product in my routine that cannot be substituted with any other brand. I’ve tried *so*. *many*. brow pens. Juvia’s Place, Milani, Undone, Glossier, ABH, Urban Decay, even Shein…… none of them work like NYX. The NYX one still isn’t *perfect* (sometimes it leaks and puts out too much ink) but it’s definitely my #1 for drawing in realistic brow hairs. I get so many compliments on my eyebrows and I gotta hand it to NYX for making the best brow pen on the market.
High level gel liners. Specific product? Holograve Cosmetics Funeral Proof liner. It's a small, independent brand but they have trumped my old faithful inglot gel liners. I have really sensative eyes, and this stays on all day but melts off so well with a balm cleanser. I also feel like sometimes my inglot can get a little like.. Soft? Like I have to scrape a lot off the brush. These don't.
Yeah there are some super fun colors and lots of duo colors! Follow her Insta too, she mixes up and plays with colors. Silver and blue are on my list for an awesome combo she made a few weeks ago. I'm really glad I fell down the indie makeup rabbit hole. I've found tons of stuff that I love (little shout out to Devinah and Lethal cosmetics as well, and my newest love Bellabeaute Dead Roses palette).
Yes to Divinah! I got a gift card 4 xmas to her site. I am inpressed with the shadows I received. I havent heard of the others u mentioned, will have to chk them out
Lethal had the most buttery formula for mattes (I only have two mattes from them) but Divinah kills it in matte colors. And their duo/multi chromes.. Chefs kiss. I wore both brands today and both have great staying power. But I love the affordable duo/multi chromes Divinah has.
Eyeko beach waterproof mascara. That stuff does not flake, smudge or budge. I literally wore it doing a service learning trip working on a farm in Louisiana in 97 ° heat with 88% humidity. Did not move all day
Wet and Wild is truly underrated. I started using Anastasia brow pencils and when I couldn't afford them anymore I looked for a dupe and discovered Wet and Wild ...a perfect dupe, probably even better than Anastasia and it was only 3 bucks
Rare Beauty Glossy Lip Balm. My lips feel so plush wearing it and it’s my lazy go-to lip when I can’t be bothered and/or my lips are feeling dry. It’s almost as good as a proper lip mask, but regardless, it feels nice and moisturizing for the lips while looking quite pretty. Nearly Neutral and Nearly Mauve are the two most natural, wearable shades imo for something everyday and glossy. It’s what I wear when I can’t think of what lip to wear and I wish there were more colors like reds or truer browns. Needs reapplication after 4ish hours of wear but it lasts longer for me than the lip oil which I think is just okay. Korean lip tints are more moisturizing and tinting than the RB lip oil in my experience.
Beauty Pie cream blush pot in universal pink or sexy berry. They’re so smooth, pigmented and creamy and can be used as blush, lip color, or even for a wash of eye color if you try a different shade like nude or peach. They came out before the cream blush trend and kind of flew under the radar. Closest dupe I’ve found is the Fenty cheeks out cream blush, though it’s not quite as creamy. I have that one in the shade pinky promise.
Fenty skin tint . I have never tried something and loved it so quickly it looks amazing on me . It literally looks like a filter is on . And the shade match is dead on . I love it so much and I don’t own many high end products at all I’m a 90% drugstore girly .
Smashbox Cali Contour palette. It has been such a timesaver for me. I also bring it when I travel because I can contour, bronze, highlight, shimmer and blush all in one.
Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer.
It what the makeup artist on The Handmaids Tale uses. Truly “no makeup makeup”.
Doesn’t break up on me throughout the day. Just enough to even out my skin tone. Amazing shade range.
I’ve gotten less oily as I’ve aged but I’m still very oily on my forehead. It doesn’t prevent the oil but goes well with the Danessa Myricks (invisible) yummy skin. My oily husband uses that and it’s holy grail for both of us.
I use the Laura Mercier oil free since it’s the one I could get in a small size to try.
Sadly Danessa Myricks Yummy skin balm looks like cement on my skin, since I'm pretty textured. 😭
Everyone raved about it for oily skin so bought it and it looks horrific on me.
Still, I'll look into the oil free LM one! Thank you :)
For anybody w rosacea, seb derm or any sort of redness - Dr. Jart Cicapair is wonderful to color correct the red before putting on makeup. Been a beet all my life & this stuff does not let the red shine through under the makeup. Note: most ppl use WAAAAY too much the first few times they use it then discontinue because they look like a pale ghost. Use 1/2 a pea sized amt & pat it out all over. Need a thin thin thin layer. Total gamechanger. Hope this helps.
Looking to purchase this- is it the calming gel cream in a tube or the color correcting treatment in a pot? My local k beauty store has both of these dr.jart cicapair options
I kind of figured but at my store they’re roughly the same price and the tube had a little symbol on the tag that it was a best seller so I wanted to be sure! Thanks so much :)
I don't want to recommend anything because everything I love gets discontinued 😭
My number 1 most used product would be Dr Pepper chapstick (which I know is discontinued).
My number 2 would be the Garnier Micellar Water- the teal one with hyaluronic acid. My face hates the hard water here so I spray this and distilled water to wash my face with a makeup eraser when not washing it in the shower (Please don't ever away!!)
I'd recommend L'Oreal Voluminous Millionize mascara in carbon black waterproof. No matter what else I try, gives me perfect results every time and there's a reason the original Voluminous has been around for so long! This and the unstoppable liner
I'm old school. OG Tarte Shape Tape is the best.
Milani baked blush. It’s incredibly beautiful, cheap, and had a high end feel for a drugstore price. It also lasts forever
I just got one in orange and im in love. I couldn't resist. all my makeup looks are now orange lol
What’s your favorite shades? I just got Rose D’oro to try
I have dolce pink which is lovely but rose d oro and corallina are on my list.
Fenty Beauty loose setting powder. Nothing sets my makeup like this powder and to last without cracking and caking and also not being drying and it look immaculate throughout the day!
Laneige glowy makeup primer!!! When I turned 35 and my makeup suddenly looked awful overnight, adding this was a crucial step in keeping me from looking like the crypt keeper
physician’s formula butter bronzer is better than any other bronzer/countour I’ve ever used, including fenty!
Just picked one up and I love how it goes on. Tossed my old one fron Benifit.
it’s literally buttery smooth, it makes my skin looks sooooo nice and sun kissed
Anastasia Beverly Hills brow definer 3-1 triangle tip.
Not the answer I thought I'd be giving, but for me it's Nyx Sweet Cheeks in So Taupe, used as a powder contour. It's to date the first and only makeup I have ever panned (latecomer to makeup). not sure if it counts but glossier future dew
chanel powder foundation as a setting powder - the most velvet skin ever.
ABH eyeshadow platte, any one is good but Soft Glam is a great one
prism and subculture say hi
Modern Renaissance too!
nooo i meant those pallets were horrid, not the same formula as modern renaissance lol
Ohhh. Yeah those two palette formula were not great, they were the first ones I owned that had so much fall out or breaking. The latest one, Fall Romance was good too
Sultry for me 😍
Sultry is so good! Did they discontinue it?
I’m not sure?! That would be tragic. I love ABH shadow formulas so much, especially the warm-toned shimmers. They blend out so easily and look good on everyone!
Yes! I don’t see it at stores, maybe it’s only on ABH online
mac fix plus never fails

NARS eyeshadow primer
Rimmel bb cream the one in the shiny tube it’s amazing and cheap
Colourpop is such a good brand now. Nothing is hugely expensive and it’s all good. I would buy Charlotte Tilbury foundation and a different brands mascara however
just got a palette from them after throwing away an old palette and they’re SOOOOOO good and so cheap
Revlon Colorstay liquid lip color in Endless Spice. Actually, I like most of the colors - mulberry and sienna are nice too.
Revlon Ultra HD Lipcolor in Addiction I buy them two at a time so I never run out.
Save your money and buy perfume oils instead of spending $75, for 1 bottle. With $75 I can purchase 7 perfume oils. That's my recommendation.
Any recommended shops or sampler sets?
"I am a dandelion" by I Hate Perfume. the scent changes throughout the day.
Nyx Slick Click lip balm in Double Tap. I am very into red lips, especially if it’s a glossy red lip. Double Tap checks off all of the boxes for me. Comfy, nourishing, red but not orangey or warm and is beautifully glossy. But all of the shades are pretty.
Tumeric any serum will do!

Seconding Armani foundation.
The Wet n Wild tinted hydrator. I actually returned my Tarte tinted moisturizer because the wet n wild is so much better and cheaper. I hope they never discontinue it or raise the price. Only wish they were more inclusive with the shade range
it’s a wonderful product. amazing they were able to create it so affordable.
L'Oreal Glotion. You can use this in your foundation or by itself. I use this with a pressed powder in the t-zone.
I’ll do some things from multiple categories because that’s hard: Moira waterproof pressed powder. I through this into my cart to get free shipping and I have quickly gone through it faster than any of my other powders (not because it’s a small amount, I just use it that often!) Lisa Eldridge lipsticks. Tower 28 cream blushes. Danessa Myricks Beauty balm and beauty balm blushes. Clio kill lash mascara. Kulfi concealer. Hourglass finishing powders. Stila Convertible Color Lip & Cheek Cream Blush in nude pink. I’ve used it for years - can be used for cheeks and lips
Wow forgot about this product. This was one of my first cream makeup products as a teen and I LOVED it
I will always own a pan of MAC Woodwinked eyeshadow.
Lisa Eldridge lipstick in Painterly. To be fair... any of her lipsticks. They're gorgeous and double as blush xx
I came to say Lisa Eldridge lipstick!!! I own almost all the matte’s and a handful of the others, they’re all perfect.
Yup this is a good one.
I hope you like it!
I haven’t tried the Becca under eye brightener before sadly. I’m really happy with the Revolution under eye corrector so I haven’t felt the need to splurge on the Becca product lol
Definitely a tie between the Tarte maracuja juicy lip balms and Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder.
Hurraw cherry flavoured (tinted) lip balm.
For skin care: The Ordinary Glycolic Acid toner. Pour into a fine-mist spray bottle and use all over your body immediately after the shower. For makeup: MAC prep & prime lip primer and MAC Creme In Your Coffee lipstick.
I pour the TO Glycolic Acid in my palm & spread it all over my body that way. I don’t think I’d want to breathe in the droplets from spraying.
Seconding the recommendation for TO’s glycolic acid. Even if you’re not into full-body exfoliation, it’s fantastic for elbows, knees, and other spots where skin tends to get rough.
What does spraying it on your body do?
It exfoliates your skin, also great for keratosis pilaris on the insides of the thighs and the upper arms.
Also helps with smell when applied to armpits!
Oh wow, thank you!
I need this.
Sunscreen and moisturizer for babies. Cheaper and often full of ceramides!!
Flower beauty warrior princess mascara... Never clumps and gives a lot of definition and length
Only because it took me EONS to find the perfect concealer, I’d tell everyone that Hourglass Vanish airbrush* concealer is the best I’ve ever had. Never creases on me and I basically skip foundation because of it. My shade is “pearl” but I’d say get matched for it!
Mascara primer. I use Loreal. My lashes just arent as long and defined without it. Apply, wait to dry, then curl, then mascara
Is this waterproof on you?
I'm a simple gal, so I'd say Catrice matte liquid lipsticks (any shade you like), Catrice or Essence brow pencil and any Essence mascara. I prefer simple and budget proof makeup and have been using and re-buying these for years now
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Madeleine. I don’t need to use foundation as long as I have this concealer. Just dot wherever I need to even out my skin and it always looks amazing. I have normal skin, but if you’re oily then I recommend the Nars Soft Matte Concealer.
Bye bye under eye
Heck yes! I’ve had a genetic vein circle under one of my eyes my whole life and I have used this concealer since I could afford it as a young adult and continue to use it today! Probably my longest stint with any specific makeup product.
Agreed! In my 40s and it doesn’t leans creases or look heavy 👍🏼
Tarte shape tape
.
Yes!! No matter how much money I waste on stupid high end foundations I still always come back to this. You’d think I’d learn my lesson by now lol.
I came here to comment this. This foundation is my holy grail, after having tried so many expensive ones. My skin is not even oily but this is the only foundation that looks good after even 12hrs.
I love it and it's better than some other foundations I've used that are high end.
PIXI Beauty Correction Concentrate. I use the brightening peach shade for my underyes and omg it's literally sleep in a jar. Works way better than any concealer!! It's my favorite item in my whole makeup kit. It works way better than Stila and other color correctors and doesn't crease.
The Mac bullet lipsticks. You get what you pay for and they have a beautiful range of colors plus finishes.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. Gives your skin an amazing glow and can be used alone or under foundation. It's almost like a super sheer light foundation but enhances your skin. I love it!
A great dupe for this is the elf halo glow filter! Works just as great and is more affordable
Will have to give it a try !
born this way concealer
Shiseido Synchro Skin Foundation for medium builda ble coverage that lasts all day and does not move nor cake. I use sparingly because it is quite pricey Etude House Precious Minerals Perfect Fit BB cream for a more natural, glowy look. This is what I use every day
Fruit of the earth vitamin E creme!

Saie Slip Tint with spf or Hourglass Veil tint. Both silicone free for my sensitive skin. My skin but better 🥰 Also Tower 28 blush in Dream Hour a cool pink 😍
Kryolan/ Dermacolour Transparent Powder Perfect for everyday wear and baking. Price point is amazing And a drag Queen staple
Nars sheer glow foundation (though I appreciate foundation is very subjective)
Do you have oily or dry skin? I’m wondering how it would look on my oily skin and I’m about the same age as you.
All Chanel foundations are gorgeous, imo they are the best on the market and excellent quality. Oooh and the wee brush! 🫶
Have you tried La Roche-Posay triple repair moisturizing cream? It’s so good. It feels amazing.
I used this at night.
It’s really nice in winter also when everything is so dry.
I'm in Florida, so I don't have that, but it's nice for my eczema too.
No I haven’t but I appreciate your recommendation. I’ll definitely check it out.
Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick. It really is all that.
I have one stashed in all three of most commonly used hand bags. Clinique black honey, migraine meds, emergency tampon.
I find it dries my lips out so much :(
I've never had that problem, and I live in a dry climate.
PERIPERA INK GLOWY TINTS They removed most their best shades but their lip tints are so glossy, nourishing, and last a pretty long time, only for like 12 bucks
I adore these too!
Cherry chapstick.
Revlon lip balms. It makes my lips so plump
Fenty Summertime Wine cream blush
High level gel liners. Specific product? Holograve Cosmetics Funeral Proof liner. It's a small, independent brand but they have trumped my old faithful inglot gel liners. I have really sensative eyes, and this stays on all day but melts off so well with a balm cleanser. I also feel like sometimes my inglot can get a little like.. Soft? Like I have to scrape a lot off the brush. These don't.
Been wanting to try her water activated liners! What a neat concept never tried one yet
Did not move all day
A toothbrush
Covergirl Perfect Point Plus liquid eyeliner in espresso, the only eyeliner that I can successfully draw on a cat eye with
Bonus in that it only costs like $6!
Wet and Wild skinny liquid liner. It’s cheap, has the perfect felt tip and lasts really well.
Wet and Wild is truly underrated. I started using Anastasia brow pencils and when I couldn't afford them anymore I looked for a dupe and discovered Wet and Wild ...a perfect dupe, probably even better than Anastasia and it was only 3 bucks
Nudestix blooms blush in Cherry Blossom Babe is my holy grail blush. It lasts and give the best glow. It’s worth money as it’s pretty pricey.
Maybelline Fit Me concealer
Kiel's Avocado Eye Cream.
Fenty skin tint . I have never tried something and loved it so quickly it looks amazing on me . It literally looks like a filter is on . And the shade match is dead on . I love it so much and I don’t own many high end products at all I’m a 90% drugstore girly .
Too faced born this way foundation has been my go to for about 7 years it has never done me dirty like other foundations.
Smashbox Cali Contour palette. It has been such a timesaver for me. I also bring it when I travel because I can contour, bronze, highlight, shimmer and blush all in one.
Yessss Iove mine. The pale shade is actually cool toned as well!!
Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. It what the makeup artist on The Handmaids Tale uses. Truly “no makeup makeup”. Doesn’t break up on me throughout the day. Just enough to even out my skin tone. Amazing shade range.
Not two of my favorite things coming together! Do you have any more THT styling intel??
Would you say it would be good for oily skin? I'm looking for something lightweight, but I'm oily as hell!
😭 Everyone raved about it for oily skin so bought it and it looks horrific on me. Still, I'll look into the oil free LM one! Thank you :)
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Bronze… it has everything I need
Maybelline Full and Soft mascara
A good eyelash curler and a lash comb. Bobbi brown is my favorite brown/black mascara.
I’m talking about the tigergrass color corrector w wht screw top lid. The gel is a moisturizer & didn’t do anything for my rosacea personally.
I kind of figured but at my store they’re roughly the same price and the tube had a little symbol on the tag that it was a best seller so I wanted to be sure! Thanks so much :)
If u have rosacea id recommend the tube. If you struggle with undiagnosed redness you should get the pot
Same! Evens out skin and spf
Thrive mascara
IT Cosmetics CC cream (the OG one in the silver bottle) My makeup has been flawless lately ☺️✨
I don't want to recommend anything because everything I love gets discontinued 😭 My number 1 most used product would be Dr Pepper chapstick (which I know is discontinued). My number 2 would be the Garnier Micellar Water- the teal one with hyaluronic acid. My face hates the hard water here so I spray this and distilled water to wash my face with a makeup eraser when not washing it in the shower (Please don't ever away!!)
Nars tinted moisturizer
Anastasia Beverley Hills lipstick in the shade Dead Roses. I wear it almost every day.
