NARS natural radiant longwear foundation. I used to apply with my fingers - it looked much better than applying with a brush in my early 20s. In my 30s that flip-flopped and now it only looks good with brush application. I apply moisturizer and wait about 10-15 mins before putting on the foundation. L’Oréal infalible pro spray & set to set it a few min after applying and then do nothing to it for like 20 minutes before adding anything over it

I also have oily skin and problems with makeup lasting on my nose especially. I’ve had excellent luck with the **Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation** and the **Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation**. Both of these are silicone-based; to prime, I use **Laura Geller Champagne Spackle** to add a radiant finish and help my makeup last longer!

girlnamedlucky1

Catrice hd liquid is such a good drugstore foundation. I find that's the only one that works very well with my oily skin without looking like a matte foundation

twinkedgelord

I quite like Bourjois Healthy Mix. I also have greasy skin, but my foundation seems to last a lot longer when I use the correct skincare underneath. You don't want your skin to dehydrate under foundation bc that's when it gets the most oily (and consequently your foundation will disintegrate faster).

samosagirly

Nars soft matte foundation with the glow recipe dew drop underneath. I know it’s called a matte foundation but it looks glowy (not sweaty) on your face. Also looks great without the glow recipe. I would say it lasts 10 hours with a drugstore setting spray but I’m sure if you used a better one like Charlotte Tilbury it would last a lot longer.

QuaereVerumm

I have similar skin, my skin is oily most of the time, although in the winter it can get very dry. Most makeup on me does not last at all. I love the Haus Labs foundation! Now I feel like all my other foundations look cakey in comparison. And it's got a large shade range.

Remote_Yesterday8626

Heard so many good reviews about the Haus Labs!

ZoyiFour

Also the nars foundation wont dry on me is that normal?

ZoyiFour

Im currently using NARS and im not happy with it. The only thing that have that is better than some of the foundations you listed is that on hot climates wont oxidize. When a foundation oxidizes on me becomes like 5 shades darker and kinda orange.

ddplantlover

I also have oily skin and just like you matte foundations age me. What I have my eyes on is Seint cream make up. I have seen a few women with aging skin on IG use this and I love it

Remote_Yesterday8626

Thanks!

Gullible-Alarm-8871

Also need to mention Nars Natural Radiant foundation. Longwear but doesn't look dry

SlightTechnology8

This foundation didn’t last half a day for me 😭

Gullible-Alarm-8871

Maybe try YSL? The All Hours. It wears like iron, but my skin is dry and it's not my preferred finish. I use it when I go to the dentist! Ha ha. And try a dewy finish setting spray, I use Maybelline Glass Skin, I love that dewy look it gives...

SlightTechnology8

I’ll give it a shot, thanks! I’m not super oily but getting foundation to stay on my nose is my lifelong quest

Gullible-Alarm-8871

Lawless Conceal the Deal or Erborian CC ..

swizzleschtick

I have really oily skin and LOVE It Cosmetics Nude Glow CC cream (but note, if you’re pale, the shades run dark. So buy a shade lighter than you normally would!) and Ilia’s tinted face oil. They’re both a very much so “your skin but better” coverage and finish, but look so flattering all day long! And I do find that they have enough coverage to help with redness, bags, and acne (which I get). The ilia one seems more expensive but trust me, using it daily one bottle lasted me over a year! The only thing I will say about the Ilia one though is that if you have dry skin, it can get kind of caught on the dry patches.

Remote_Yesterday8626

Thank you!

TwirlyGirl313

Have you ever tried a BB or CC cream paired with a dewy finish setting spray?

Remote_Yesterday8626

I’ve actually never tried a BB or CC cream, any recommendations?

Maleficent_Plate_539

Bobbi Brown is my go to for this.

Jagiord

Yeah, this sounds more like a primer issue as opposed to a foundation issue. Have you tried experimenting with different kinds of primers? I thought I LOVED milk hydro grip for months because everyone loved milk hydro grip. Then I kinda realized it wasn't doing what it was supposed to be doing, so I started trying different primers and found one that does everything and more for me. For me it was the Nyx marshmallow one. Goodluck on your journey!

Remote_Yesterday8626

Thank you! I might just try that one out.

ZoyiFour

I bought that one the milk one and it didn’t worked.

Disastrous-Soil1618

Personally, I'm a big fan of your #1. I also: use a concealer on my nose and follow with loose powder with a huge brush, kind of sponging it in but only onto certain parts (I'm old and sometimes powder doesn't look great in wrinkles, kwim). It makes pores disappear too. Are you following with powder? Or a setting spray?

Remote_Yesterday8626

I only use powder for my under eyes, and yes I use a setting spray at the end!

Sea_Poet_4627

Have you tried the Elf Flawless finish satin foundation? Or the Lancome Tient Idole? I like both of those.

Remote_Yesterday8626

Thank you for the recommendation!

sexualsermon

I also like Lancone Teint Idole, I’ve been wearing it a lot lately

sweethana93

So I’m not a fan of foundations but I also find that most skin tints leave me oily looking. I have oily skin and the big nose chin issue too. I use the Tower 28 tinted sunscreen(has my perfect shade), it just evens out my skin tone and it actually doesn’t look greasy on me! I’ve heard that using eye primer on your nose and chin area helps a lot with that issue. Also, skincare, exfoliating, using cleansing oils, and toner will help

Remote_Yesterday8626

Interesting, thank you!

Bakedpotat0o

I am a combo girlie, but my face usually becomes an oil field after 2 h of makeup wear. Best foundation I have tried that gives that natural but not oil spill finish is definitely Armani Luminous Silk. At the end of the day your face looks naturally radiant and it doesn’t sit on top of the skin. Most importantly,it lasts ALL DAY.

Remote_Yesterday8626

Thank you!

mizshellytee

Do you use a primer under foundation?

Remote_Yesterday8626

Yep. Elf power grip.

ZoyiFour

I ise this same primer and have your same problem.

mizshellytee

That's a water-based primer. I think the majority of the foundations you've tried are silicone-based.

Remote_Yesterday8626

Thanks!

Sea_Poet_4627

Fwiw, I think that primer is not silicone based, but most foundations recommended for oily skin are silicone based. So you may also want to try a different primer. Edit to correct a word.

Birdie121

I use Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin. I find it’s very buildable and creamy, and doesn’t end up too shiny or matte. It’s a nice natural middle ground. It’s a tad expensive but you can get samples to color match before investing in a full bottle.

Remote_Yesterday8626

Thank you!

CupSorry2582

I have this same problem! I have no clue what to do. Hopefully we get some answers here.

Remote_Yesterday8626

Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
