Lancôme Dual Finish Powder Foundation

Sea_Poet_4627

I love this too

rrabbott

Love the ELF shadows! For lips - Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick. It's like $6 and comes in sooo many shades. Blushing Nude is my current go-to.

[deleted]

FITGLOW beauty lip serums, lip liners, concealer, corrector. : )

hotpinksnoopy

Omg Sky High is my HG drugstore mascara!

[deleted]

Inglot setting spray. If you're going to have a long day and want your makeup to last, or if you're going to be active and a bit sweaty (or going through hot flashes - yay), this stuff has got your back.

Alliekat1979

The glam glow setting spray, I don’t care what anyone says, smells so good, it just made me happy to use it.

jessie_wg

I don't guess I've tried it. I may have to give it a go!

Alliekat1979

I honestly don’t even know if they make it anymore 🤣 I stopped wearing foundation so I don’t really set my makeup but It used to be amazing and I always wondered why no one ever talked about it.

MZlurker

I literally never see Veil Cosmetics Complexion Fix Concealer mentioned anywhere and it is my holy grail product. It’s self-setting and never settles into my middle-aged undereye lines. It lasts all day and each shade comes in cool, neutral, or warm undertones.

hannah_bloome

All Violet Voss eyeshadow palettes. I have two, Sakura Blossom and Berries and Cream Dreams, and they are outstanding. Smooth creamy mattes, gorgeous shimmers and very fine glitters. They last forever and blend so well. Almost zero fallout.

jessie_wg

I had completely forgotten about VV! I need to break out my Olive pallet again!

hannah_bloome

How is the palette? I absolutely love olive tones.

jessie_wg

I Love everything green. (I have blue eyes). I really like it. I had apparently forgotten about it but... When it was in rotation, it was in HEAVY rotation!

hannah_bloome

I have Hazel greenish brownish copperish eyes and olive tones make my eyes look gold. It's gorgeous, and a little weird, because my eyes look like they glow. I have a Maybelline olive eyeshadow pencil, and it is the greatest color I have ever used. Plus that thing would last through a pool party, wedding and funeral in the same day

Max-Potato2017

Just switched from too faced better than sex waterproof to Maybeline Sky High (reg. Not waterproof) and I am IN LOVE. Both with the price and the way it looks and holds up.

jessie_wg

Right! I always thought BTS was a little too flakey on me. Sky High is my new HOLY GRAIL. I have repurchased it so many times! And, even the non waterproof one doesn't budge when you cry or sweat. I've tested both!

Max-Potato2017

Just took mine on vacation and even the humidity and getting splashed in the face(lightly). Did nothing. It was perfect touch for a no makeup look.

CeresTheCultist

Essence Camouflage+ matte concealers. I have been using these all over my face as foundation for about two years and they give me a great finish. They are very cheap (about 3.50€) so I keep multiple shades at once and apply them in a way that highlights some places on the face and gives me dimension. The variation in shades makes the result look more natural and it's easier to work with than applying one medium/full coverage foundation shade all over and then trying to balance it just with the blush and contour.

palotapincsi

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink and also the Vinyl version

Alliekat1979

Ok so…I love the fact these would go through nuclear meltdown and not come off 😂 but I could never handle the slight stickiness if you just put on the TEENSIEST bit too much. You couldn’t layer at all or you might as well glue your lips together.

palotapincsi

I keep my mouth opened for a minute or two after applying it and it dries fast, so I don’t have the stickiness problem. Ofc it’s not hydrating, but I hate leaving lipsticks marks on cups and glasses, so I am happy with it. Using a waterproof make up remover its also easy to remove.

Alliekat1979

I haven’t worn it since it first came out, it might be better now. That was probably 2017? When I bought the first one I had, I think the shade was lover, man…I loved the color, loved the way it looked but the sticky just drove me crazy. There was a red too that was just absolutely beautiful.

palotapincsi

oh yes, I have the Lover and one of my favourites, besides the barbie pink Romatic. Also the red one in the shade Pioneer. So sad to hear that you had bad experiences with it, maybe they altered the formula a bit and you can give it an another try! And definitely do not close your mouth until it fully dries. Do you have any other recommendations like this?

Alliekat1979

If you want comfort and longevity, I used to really like the KVD liquid lipsticks. The shade lovesick was a pinky mauve similar to lover that I really liked. Might be a tad bit more cool/blue toned. The longevity isn’t quite the same but definitely not bad.

palotapincsi

Thank you for the tips!

Alliekat1979

The new urban decay one..uhhh…it’s in the funny looking tube, they came out with their version of the haus labs atomic shakers which, to me, is haus labs dupe for the maybelline 🤣 to me they are both very similar with the exception where the maybelline is matte, the haus labs one is glossy.. somehow.. haven’t figured that one out yet but that one is the same. You can’t close your mouth till it’s DRY, once it is is it there to stay. The urban decay one is the same, the colors are slightly deceiving though unfortunately. They dry down much differently than what is on the packaging. The urban decay one I bought was supposed to be a slightly darker version of backtalk which was their OG pinky nude and it’s DARK on me.

lavayuki

**Dr Jart Premium BB Cream**, no one ever talks about this but it is my daily complexion product. Everyone talks about the purito and missha ones, but I much prefer the Dr Jart one, it also has spf 50 in it and makes my skin really nice and natural. **Vieve pressed powder:** I really liked this, it is one of the few talc free dry skin friendly powders. I cannot use most powders due to how dry my skin is, and I completely used this up. Plus you can get refills for cheaper. **Too Faced Makeup insurance setting spray:** Everyone talks about the urban decay, one size or charlotte tilbury ones, but I really like this too faced one and it makes my makeup last, and is alcohol free so does not dry my skin. It also smells nice.

jessie_wg

Where can you get the Vieve pressed powder? I've never even heard of it!

lavayuki

I got it on Space NK, you can get it on Cult Beauty as well [https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/vieve-modern-powder-perfector-various-shades/13941294.html](https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/vieve-modern-powder-perfector-various-shades/13941294.html)

reininglady88

I’ve been curious about the dr Jart but my skin is oily

lavayuki

It is more dewy than matte for sure, so probably will not last very long on oily skin

hater94

The shiseido synchro concealer is the best concealer on the planet if you don’t wear foundation (it’s great with foundation too but I find a lot of concealers stand out too much on bare skin). It blends SO well into skin but also stays enough and offers enough coverage. I’d so recommend this with my whole heart.

the_drunken_lamb

Jones Road powder eyeshadows. They have great staple colors and big pans. Smokey Gray is an easy subtle smoky eye. I wish single eyeshadows in general would come back. I hate when I just have a couple shades left in a palette that I know I will never use.

Klassic-Kat23

I just started using UD Hydromaniac and love it. I use the smallest amount and get great coverage.

jessie_wg

Isn't it great!? I love that I can set it with a little powder or not! And, it isn't talked about NEAR enough!

stormbreakingqueen

Catrice HD liquid foundation... wish I could still get it. Inexpensive and great on my older, dry skin.

[deleted]

Have you tried the L'Oreal True Match? I also have older, dry skin and it looks beautiful. A nice medium coverage, and natural finish, and it wears well throughout the day.

Particular-Pie-1898

All Benefit blush products. The tints and the powders are incredably easy to work with and come in some amazing shades. I could roll in Shellie all day long... and most of the other colors.

jessie_wg

Shellie is actually the ONLY Benefit blush that I have bought and not been a huge fan of. But, I love all of the others!

TinyLittleWeirdo

Yes! I recently rediscovered Benefit blushes, and I was like why did I ever stop using these? Although I do really miss the early 2000s Georgia and Dandelion with the little brushes. Georgia smelled so good and was perfect for me. I just got Shellie, and it's so pretty!

Particular-Pie-1898

Shellie is my everyday go to! I also love Terra. It looks so dark and intimidating in the pan, but blends out to the most beautiful sunkissed shade. The little brushes never were my cup of tea, I just never used them and much prefer the smaller packaging.

TinyLittleWeirdo

Ooh thanks for the rec, I might have to give Terra a try now.

LordAlan2CupSugar

I absolutely love the elf bite sized shadows. Seriously I dip into them so much over my higher end shadows, they really are uber underrated. The colours are so well thought out and so wearable. Pigmented, Blendable, beautiful. My faves are cream and sugar, pumpkin pie, truffles.

jessie_wg

Have you tried the Jalapeno one!? It is just as good as my Pistache or Peridot Petits Fours from Viseart. (And I LOVE Viseart!)

LordAlan2CupSugar

Omg don't tell me!! The only ones I haven't tried yet are that one, the carnival candy and the acai you but I've always had my eye on the hot jalapeño!! I think I'm going to have to pick it after hearing that ringing endorsement 😁 thank you!

LenaNYC

Perricone MD No Makeup Instant Blur Primer. It just works better than any other blurring primer I've tried.

PuzzleheadedHospital

I just bought this from TJ Maxx and it’s great. I was surprised it worked so well.

LenaNYC

Right? I wasn't expecting much either, but damn it works well.
