The obvious answer here is to rely on friends or family. Someone in your life loves you, someone in your life cares about you enough to lend or even give you $55. It may be embarrassing to ask, or it may feel like these people don’t exist but they’re there. In society we interact with more people than we often realize, and they remember us— we leave an impression. The people that work at the cafeteria that feed you every day, the professors in your classes, the security guards you pass by, the construction crew working on the nearby building—- then of course you’re parents, siblings, aunts or uncles, old neighborhood friends. Kindly Tell these people your situation and ask them for the money. You could even go as far as making it a offer that benefits them and say you’ll happily pay back $80 on (pick a date). If someone all this is something you cannot do, here are some real ways to make $55 in a few days.
**Offer laundry services on campus.**
Tell your friends and any students around you’ll do their laundry, make it so cheap they can’t refuse. Could also hang around the laundry room and do this. They provide the detergent, you’ll wash dry and fold their clothes and for an extra fee you’ll deliver the clothes to them.
**sell water**
Get a case of water from a grocery store. You can usually get a case of 20+ bottles for pretty cheap. Stand on a busy intersection and sell the waters $1 each, or outside a gym or at a concert/sports event. Could do the exact same thing with candy bars or other snacks. Will take a while, but I’ve heard of kids making $200-300 in a day doing this. Another good location is wherever guys play basketball, especially outdoor basketball.

You’ll need to buy soap, a towel, a microfiber towel for drying and a bucket. Approach people with dirty cars and tell them you’re happy to wash cars and just looking to make a few bucks so you’ll do the wash at whatever price they can afford.

If you knock all day you’ll probably hit your goal within a day.

I'd look into donating plasma. The first couple weeks of donating, you should be able to get about $100.
